I got Choice Home Warranty this year. Because my house is 25 yrs old. Saturday night my water heater stopped working. Monday morning I filed a claim online. Later that day I got a call from a local plumbing company with an appointment for next day. The repair person called me to let me know he was on the way. He diagnosed the problem to a control unit. He said he was going to order it and have it by Wednesday. That day they called to let me know he will be here on Thursday. I only paid the $75 for the service fee. And the part cost about $175. It works great now.

Put a claim in a less than 5 minutes I had a phone from one of there technicians. Anthony was there less than an hour later came out and diagnosed the issue and will be back tomorrow to put in replacement water heater. Couldn’t have asked for any better. Very impressive. Would recommend Anyone to go to Choice Home warranty to anyone. Even though service fees are little bit more. I would pay that for the services we received. Thank you, Gary

CHW offers a much wider range of coverage at very competitive price that was the reason for switching. Plus, CHW online tool makes it easy to submit a claim. Additionally, the online tool shows your account warranty coverage, and claim status. The customer service is prompt at assigning the appropriate professional service tech who is a no-nonsense person that gets the job done right, and cleans up like his grandma is looking over his shoulder. I’m glad to have CHW on my side.

I have used Choice Home Warranty twice in the past 2 months. Once for my dishwasher that died after 20 years, and once because my AC was not cooling. as to the dishwasher - I had to wait a while to get someone to come check the old machine out (a week) but they wee great when they got here. They determined it needed to be replaced since they could not get parts to repair it due to the age. CHW agreed to send me a check so that I could replace it. It took 3 to 4 weeks to get the money and they did not provide nearly enough to replace it, but it was 20 years old. As to the AC claim, I called them and they had one of their certified technicians come out about 5 days later. He had it fixed in no time at all!!!! The only complaint about the AC claim was the length of time to get someone to come out to fix it. But they are getting tech's that work for other companies so they have other jobs to do already and cannot just drop what they are doing to gt your machine fixed. If you have proper expectations when you get a home warranty, you can see that they did a very good job at taking care of my claims!!!! I would give them 4 stars. everyone has room for improvement and it would have been nice to have gotten the AC working sooner than 5 days out. Thank you for your assistance!!!!

I called choice home warranty my refrigerator was leaking water from under it and it had been doing it for 2 or 3 days and it wasn't a lot but I was worried about what it was and I finally called choice home warranty they said that they would be coming out and it came out the next day very punctual call me before they came very nice young man Cain named Brandon he came in looked at the refrigerator found the problem no sooner they looked at it I was so satisfied and my stress level went come down. Excellent service for our plumbing THE knowledgeable tech arrived on Memorial day.He still continues to work on this unexpected skilfully.. our other claim for the refrigerator is no completed.However they had to rush the parts I have had this plan since November.I never had to file a claim.I am very satisfied with Kent working on our project. I have used my warranty several times. It is very useful and worth the price. My most recent claim was when my air conditioner broke down. It is not able to be repaired anymore and requires replacement which has been approved by Choice. Can’t tell you much about the replacement product or the quality of the replacement, process of getting it replaced because the job has not taken place yet. I know I will have to come out of pocket some but not as much as buying a whole new unit myself. It is annoying that they ask me to give a review before any service has been completed. The technician they sent out to look at it verified it wasn’t able to be repaired and seemed very good and knowledgeable. That’s all I know so far.

He asked about my house size and what I was looking for, how long I wanted coverage, how I wanted to pay, ( monthly vs yearly) what my budget was etc just to see what my needs were. Joe is very knowledgeable and was able to assist me in a plan for the best coverage at a price that fits my budget. This was a excellent experience.

It works, but with some reservations. Had no claims all year long, until I had to submit 2 claims within two weeks. At the end they were both approved, but I did not like the very protracted process. Specially the plumbing issue, where they could not find a serviceman for 10 days. At the end I had to find a plumber myself, he had to submit the analysis and repair quote. Cumbersome. And at the end they did not approve his total bill so i was left with additional 100 dollars on top of the 75 dollars service fee. The other claim was with our refrigerator failing. Again it took about one week, but at the end they found a serviceman who approved a payout, since it was not worth repairing it. I could question the amount of the payout (There"s no way I could buy a similar refrigerator with that money), but fine, I'll accept that. It took FULL thirty days for the check to arrive, frustrating. At the end, it was all acceptable, because luckily both claims were not time critical (it was not a plumbing leak and we had a secondary fridge to save our food). Just wondering if it was critical, like my AC failing in the heat or a plumbing leak.

Choice acted on my claim immediately but it took a while to get a repairman here for my dishwasher. When he did come there were problems. it took him 4 visits to fix the problem and then he didn't put the dishwasher back in its place properly. This really isn't Choice's fault but they should vet their contractors more carefully. The repairman was pleasant but I'm not sure he really knew what he was doing.

Hello I’m trying to get ahold of CHW. I purchased a microwave with the Lowe’s voucher and I’m ready to have it installed. I guess that my emails do not reach the staff. So I’ll try calling tomorrow.
