I have signed up with CHW for my primary house and 8 rental properties for the past 2 years. I am happy with the services. It is really a worry free warranty. After paying the service call fee, all costs were mostly covered by CHW. They took care of my heating and cooling system, drains clog, sewer one and appliances. I strongly recommend CHW.

Great offer to have this warrant when you purchased a home. thanks to my Realtor who did suggest me to have this to help us out when something would be broken at home. We just purchased a home in Oklahoma. I choose Choice Home Warranty because I had them on my home in Texas. Whenever I have requested service, they send out knowledgeable service workers to repair/fix the problem. I do not have to search on my own to find the right professional to repair/fix my problem, especially since I am not familiar with the companies in Oklahoma. It just takes one more task away that I do not have to focus on. Thank you Choice Home Warranty! Also, the price of the warranty is very affordable.

The peace of mind and convenience of having someone to call is great; however having the monthly premium increase by more than $10 ($120+/year) and having the cost for a claim increase from $75 to $100 is causing me to think about researching for a less expensive option.

Filed a claim on Sunday. Claim was accepted on Monday. Worker came and fixed the issue on Tuesday. Worker came out showed me what was wrong and educated on the issue and told me i can contact him personally and my insurance if something happens again. Service was great.

I have had home warrànty only once before, when I got the call this time. I listened heard some of the same things but changes as well. For me last time was back the 1990s. It was good to hear some things changed some remain the same and quality of service goes up.

It is ok but I think with the hidden cost it is a lot!!! When making the claim for a hot water heater o understand the 75.00 service charges! Bit when the plumbing company came and assessed the problem there was a 200.00 charge for fittings and such on top!! Not sure I'm going to keep the policy! With all the monthly charges and extra hidden fees I could have gotten one and installed it myself! For less money!

Price is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't think the warranty is a great value. I paid as much to replace my water heater through Choice as I would have had I just bought a new one on my own, and I didn't even get to pick what I wanted. The jacked up labor price that the company knew I had to pay was the same price as a new water heater including installation. It was mildly useful for replacing the magnetron in my microwave though. That was only $75 total and was very smooth.

Initially, when I contracted with Choice Home Warranty it was great! Then I started having problems with them finding a technician if I filed a claim. However, the last claim I filed for a problem with a toilet, a technician picked up the ticket and fixed the problem in just over a week.

I like that it's easy to file a claim and to get ahold of customer service, but I wish that they would not require you to pay the service deductible up front. I would prefer to pay the service deductible at the time the technician arrives.

We needed our refrigerator fixed. On the day of the appointment, the service provider never showed up. The second time it was scheduled, the provider called in sick. Finally, the 3rd time, the fridge was finally fixed and the provider did a decent job. Choice needs to find better service providers because Electrolux/Frigidaire were very unreliable.
