Communication is poor, when I call to speak with a representative at the number given I get an automated response to go online and send a message and wait for a response, I’m still waiting…. In order to speak to a customer service representative, I had to call the representative I brought my policy from to transfer my call. I’ve also had other issues with parts being ordered, but not shipped and not being told anything…..poor communication is main issue. Thank you.

Beginning with their clunky and cumbersome claims portal, to their automated claims assignation system, to the length of time and number of messages and micromanaging required to get anything done…and then to finally have a service provider assigned, but one who did not show up and failed to communicate, and then to have that same provider reassigned even after reporting the situation; and meanwhile, my initial claim was over a week ago and I am suffering at home; and then they only cover a fraction of the replacement cost…. In my experience, each of my claims have had something go wrong, and in every necessary communication one is directed to communicate through that clumsy claims portal where it feels like calls of distress fall into a black hole.

After submitting my claim for a broken furnace on Friday morning, I waited two days (until Sunday) for Choice to provide any communication about a scheduled repair. My house was under 50 degrees. I called multiple times for service and was provided very little. Ultimately the technician was great, but sitting in a freezing house for multiple days was not.

The technician that you sent to check out my furnace issue was very uncommunicative and said that they'd have to cut out a part of the furnace to make the necessary repairs. I was told this repair is not covered by the plan because it was not due to normal wear and tear, which it was.

I have had several appliances fixed in my home, however, plumbing is a disaster. Apparently there are not enough plumbers in the area that subcontract for Choice. I have been told by plumbers that they do not want to do work for Choice because they do not pay well. Also, it makes no sense that the appliance will be covered, but the customer has to pay a plumber and/or electrician to install the replacement.

If the response time fro the Contractors would be quicker this would be a 5 star home warranty and not due to them, it might depend in the area that you live in. In my case Souht Carolina/ Represeentatives are on top of things responding via email or phone calls. Represeentatives are on top of things responding via email or phone calls.

I like that HT Philly HVAC came in a reasonable time frame. When I told him the problem, I was having with my gas heater, he new just what the problem was and replaced the part. My heater is now working fine.

I appreciate the fact that Choice does the heavy lifting of identifying contractors and vetting them for the work. I've only had one contractor come out by they've been very good and skilled. I would like it if it were easier to have multiple related issues on the same ticker.

In general, I appreciate the companies that have come out to diagnose all our different machine issues. They have been be knowledgeable and down to earth but for the last claim I am disappointed with Choice. The amount of money we are supposed to get to replace our current dryer does not account for inflation or current prices. Also, 30 days is a long time to wait for an e-gift card.

The repair person came out within a week of filing the claim. However, he did not have any parts with him. So, they had the part ordered, and the 2nd repair appointment had to be scheduled. It was 9 days after the initial visit.

He said he should be at the house by 4:30pm, so I said OK. He arrived at 5pm. Once he got here, he was quick and efficient and did the job well. Problem was solved.
