Theyhad a technician come and take care of the problem. However I wish they could get more local technicians. It might not take as long . The technician I had was amazing and ver professional! I would recommend him again and wish I request him if I need a repair again.

CHW scheduled the same Technician to come to my house twice and that technician Never Showed Up. They continue to use a company THE APPLIANCE SCIENTIST that is unreliable and waste the customers time. After complaining about them and requesting a call from management that never called, they sent Sears to repair my refrigerator and that technician was perfect.

I have had both good and bad experiences with CHW. We got a two year warranty when we bought this property. I had an AC go bad and, despite the fact that their rep specifically said that it would be covered in whole or replaced when we got the warranty, they refused to do so. We've had the warranty for 17 months and we've had, I believe, 3 small claims since then. All were fixed in a timely manner.

We had to have our A/C repaired as we had water all over our garage floor. It seemed a while to get all the paperwork set up, but when the repairman finally came he fixed the issue in a timely fashion and he was an excellent worker.

This was my first scheduling experience with Choice Warranty. I was surprised when they advised me that my service appt was scheduled on a Sunday, but since it was a holiday weekend, I didn’t mind as much. However, the technician called on the appt day & seemed to suddenly realize it was a Sunday & initially tried to get out of keeping it. I ended up agreeing with him, but the whole scheduling process was unconventional.

Had my 1st claim for a circuit breaker on 8/21/ 22 . Never recieved a response after 3 days. I called the claim office on Tuesday and recieved a great response about finding a technician in my area. Called the next day (Wednesday) still haven't found a technician in my area. Called the next day(Thursday) and customer service stated I would be a priority. Called on Friday and was told I could find a technician to get an estimate and I needed approval, then I would be reimbursed that could take up to 30 days. I called again and was told I would be placed on priority. So that's 2 priority promises. I a. frustrated at this service at his point. I get an email 11 days later stating I have been scheduled for an appointment with a technician in my area to arrive between 7am-11am. So I had to inform my place of employment on short notice ( same day) that I would have be available for this appointment. I expka to Home choice customer. se that I believed the company was Nationionly known and was wondering why the 11 day wait when there are sufficient Electrical companies in my area.. It has been a poor service via NO communication with your customers on updates of claims processes.

They set up a appointment, and arrived on time. Are polite and respectful, and (to me this is important) listened when I explained what was happening and what I felt was causing the problem. Worked steady and made sure to be clean and clean up after done (not easy with a gunky snake :0 ) .

First claim has not gone well. AC not repaired yet. Choice could not get “their” technician on site. They offered another alternative where I hired my on contractor. On day 3 still don’t have authorization to complete repairs. If my house was on fire I wouldn’t want choice to be the fire department. I hope I can resolve this issue and continue with Choice in future

There is no service person for pools in my area. I have to find someone myself to fix it. My dishwasher died. I didn’t think I was offered enough money to it. Not close to replacement. They do respond well and set up appts quickly.

Choice responded quickly with an appointment for a service technician to repair my leak in my kitchen sink. The issue that kept me from giving a 5 star is the technician was only able to look the issue over and then request permission to proceed since it would be over $100. It will likely take an additional 2 or 3 days to get the actual repair done now. That is very poor response to a very minor issue. They need to lift their approval threshold to at least $500 so that the technician can do their work and get my issue repaired.

So far things have been good. Claim for microwave was handled quickly. Case manager reviewed the claim and was able to increase cash reimbursement by 20% due to additional feature that was not identified initially.

well about 6 weeks ago a worker came out and inspected my dishwasher said it needed to be fixed or replaced and it was cheaper to replace it very kind kid I give him a 9 out of a 10 only because I never give pins anyway that's been like 5 6 weeks ago maybe longer and I still don't have a dishwasher still haven't got a check to buy a dishwasher they you guys haven't done crap so for the man who came out and inspected my machine I give him a nine for the people in the office taking care of my paperwork getting me my money so I can get a dishwashing here I give you a two now I am 69 years old I have 12 back surgeries nine stomach surgeries I can't stand in the kitchen washing dishes that's why I had a dishwasher give me my money

I was not happy to find out they don't cover many repairs. My garage door broke and it cost me over $700 for repairs. Choice says they only cover the motor. Huh!!! Than if you need a repair and it interfere with living in home and their Technician can only come in a week - you ask for reimbursement and you are denied because the Technician you used DONT HAVE THE RIGHT BROWSER to upload a diagnostic form prior to repairs YOU STUCK! why can't they allow Technician to discuss and get approval on the phone. So no my experience was not good. I did have a second problem and didn't chance that reimbursement process. I waited for Choice to send Technician. Paid my ?$65 call fee. Man fixed my outlet and left. Cost was $125. So Choice used my $65 and only had to pay $60. I am not seeing the value. When my contract expires I will be saying goodbye to this company unless I see a change. Bottom line if you don't wait for Choice Technician you might get burned. This hurts since I paid over a year and never used them and my 1st time I get stuck with the bill. Ughhhh PS They quick to call you and tell you about the section subsection paragraph dd as to why you are denied!!!! Sincerely First time User

I love that I have a comprehensive plan in place to cover things in my home. I dislike that I live so far out of the metropolitan area that it sometimes takes a while to FIND a service company that will make the trip to provide service, however, they DO find one companies and we have been extrememly satisfied for 8 years now.

I was pleased that the program offered a replacement offer for our dryer. It was much lower that expected so I asked it to be reconsidered. That call took another 7 days to take place. I was pleased that the conversation with the customer service rep increased to replacement amount to be more in line with our expectations. I was happy at that point as she said a Lowes Gift Card would be emailed. After several days I check to see that status as I had expected later that day 8/17/2022. After calling in I was informed it would be up to another 30 days before it would be sent. This is completely unacceptable. I have a tenant now that has been with a dryer for over a month. You need to do better on this turnaround. Can you expedite this request?????

what I like best? Haven't decided yet. what i think is worst? Pushy salespersons who try to get you to sign up for more expensive program before asking about your financial situation. Then when you said your couldn't afford the more expensive option, he treated me as though he was offering me a better deal, but I was rude when I insisted that I couldn't handle the price.

Some of your contractors are not quality or accurate in their work. I have had continuous problems with my pool and had to pay a second repair service to fix my washer last year. Don’t know why I renewed with you this year. Time will tell.

I was a little upset that the CHW didn’t cover the floor damage caused by the water leak but very happy with the plumber and what he did. Thank you CHW

I was very excited about having a Home Warranty, but this was not a good experience. The first plumber did not show up and did not call, I drove for an hour to meet the plumber twice. The third plumber did show up and I think the problem is fixed but it took more than two weeks to get it fixed. If I had an emergency, this would have been a very bad situation. I hope if I ever have another situation, I have a better experience.

Response time is slow. The approval of claims are not done judiciously and conscientiously. They are not diligent in reviewing claims before they disapprove them. Once a claim was disapproved, it's an arduous task that is very time consuming and energy draining to go through their layered bureaucratic processes to file an appeal. They are quick to earn you business and take your money but when it comes to delivery, they foot-drag on you and come up with excuses to deny your claim. I have a total coverage policy with them and water heater is part of what was listed as being covered. When my water heater broke down and started leaking water, Choice Home Warranty denied my claim by claiming that my water heater is a holding or storage tank. The experience has been disappointing and distasteful.

Not all what I was led to believe. I have had 2 claims within the last year. One for washing machine that after several months I was offered a gift card to apply to a new purchase. They would not replace the machine and it was not repairable and I was offered a little over $400 gift card to Lowes, there was not a washing machine anywhere near that price. I bought a new one but still have not received the gift card. Claim is almost 6 months old. Second claim on air conditioning unit. They will replace outside condenser but according to them, both the inside and outside units have to be replaced because they will t be compatible and according to their contract, they are not liable for the whole u it and it will cost me a minimal of over $300 for outside and a minimal of $1200 for inside and undetermined amount for other items thst will not be covered. I am not happy with choice home warranty. Bet this one won’t be in any of your publicized reviews. The only thing worse than their performance is the communications on claim status. I hate talking to computers and answering g machines, but humans are very difficult to reach and claims managers will not return calls.

I've never had a bad experience with the technicians who have come to repair anything. The only negative thing I can say is that Choice Warranty sets up an appointment for me, without going through the company that's going to do the work, so I have to contact the company myself to schedule the real appointment.

My garage door stopped opening and I called for an appointment. The response was excellent and I had an appointment with a technician the next day. (He was great and worked until the problem was fixed) The problem was that CHW only covered ONE Spring for about $100. You can't fix the door without replacing both springs. I had to pay another $700 out of pocket to get the door working properly.

This time this technician was on time, fast, efficient, and knew what he was doing. That is not always true with the technicians sent to my house. Sometimes they misdiagnose the problem, sometimes they don't show up, sometimes Choice can not find anyone to come to my house. Choice impressively paid for a new microwave when mine was broken but they did not pay for someone to install it. So, when something goes right, it is wonderful. But, when something goes bad, it is extremely frustrating.

The prompt arrival of the service technician was great, however our appliance needed to be replaced. We took the offer for a lowes gift card to replace the appliance with. We still do NOT have the card and are still with out a working appliance. There is no way for me to track when the gift card/e-card will be sent to me. I would think that knowing a family is with out an appliance they would be faster at sending out a e-card. Especially since this is all electronically done!!!
