I gave you 4 stars for your part in the process, BUT THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO WAIT 10 DAYS FOR THE ACTUAL REPAIR is unacceptable. I’m using bags of ice to preserve my food. I have to do this for 10 days. This is ridiculous!!!

Unfortunately, I have found that Choice is not an easy company with which to deal; i.e., scheduling a service call takes over a week many times and it takes forever to get approval from Choice on parts needed for a return service. Not only that, there have been situations when Choice would not pay for return services or mandated that I pay a huge co-pay for the return services. How would you feel were you me?

choice warranty charges a service fee,whish covers services repairs and in the event they replace. A appliances.choice does not cover every thing and If you want something extra to be covered ( example Stand alone freezer ) they charge you extra as an add on to you

They had our dryer running again on Monday after a Saturday morning breakdown. That said, the tech never told us what he fixed, even though we asked him twice. He just said, “it was magic.” Slightly annoying.

Choice does not want to pay for the big ticket repairs … they like to use the term “Pre-Existing”, which is complete BS. I’m on my second request, the 1st one was not covered … the second one is on a different unit, but the same issue … so I highly anticipate the “Pre-Exsiting” BS. That’s OK … my attorney, the better business bureau, and my local news channel are in retainer. Not to mention, the technician already calls me a couple times telling me that Choice needs more information from me before they pay him ..,. Complete BS. They haven’t even called me yet or emailed me yet. Nice way to leave your tech. Hanging. ABSOLUTELY Unimpressed

i submitted my claim yesturday at 400p and a technician contacted me this morning about 1030am to say he was available to do my repair today. The problem is that I was not home. Choice Home Warranty sent me an email about the same time. Everything turned out well. I was able to meet the technician this afternoon.

I have a Gas pack Furnace and Ac unit, The heat side went out and the unit needed replacement. They only authorized their MAX $3000 payment for the heater, But both units are inside the Gas pack. You can't buy one without the other. So, I have both an AC unit and a Furnace that needs replacement. This will have to go to arbitration. To get the CHW to cover two different units, which would require them to pay a max $6000.

It's great most of the time. They schedule a repair and come fix it. Unfortunately, I wish after many times of trying to figure out what is wrong and they still can't repair they would replace it sooner than later. I have had a fridge/freezer keep going down and they can't find the issue. I really wish they would replace it!

Had some amateur contractors last year 2021/2022. Thankfully they are gone Had recent dishwasher issue and was very pleased that a top contractor was used. Sears home repair/ A&E home repair. Very pleased with service. Fixed in minutes. 200$ repair. My cost 65$ 👍🏻

I just want to express my displeasure with Choice. I purchased the warranty policy on the anticipation that if something was unrepairable, it would be replaced. My refrigerator was acting up and Choice had a tech come by the next day and look at it. That was good service by Choice. The tech said it needed a new control board and he should have one in a couple of days. Later I received an e-mail from Choice congratulating me and saying they deemed the refrigerator unrepairable and offered to replace it. They offered a $986 Lowes gift card. Here in Nevada I could not find a new $986 24 cu ft refrigerator. I called Choice customer service and they offered to send a check instead of the Lowes gift care but said in their books, the side by side refrigerator we have is valued at $986. They do not use retail prices. to make matters worse, the check may take up to 30 days to be sent. I went back over the contract and it sure doesn't read that way. So, my recommendation is you make sure you totally understand their replacement policy before you purchase their warranty policy. The only reason I did not make it a 1 star is because the service response was relatively quick.

As much as a person pays for the service, the hoops a person has to go through is ridiculous. I had to replace a well pump and it never ended up being paid for because of the emergency of no water and our repairman said that the stuff you requested he sent you but then you did not accept everything he sent you. He said that he could not waste any more time with the paperwork as he had more than us as clients.

So far my experience with Choice Home Warranty is good. The first tect did not call or email me that he wasn't coming. I notified Choice and they emedily sent a different tect and he showed up and found the issue and ordered the part needed. He is supposed to be back Thursday. Hopefully the issue will be fixed then.

Reporting Claim is easy, setting up the initial appointment is easy. The follow up from their customer service is awful. Their portal is terrible as soon as you log in to ask a question it reports back that your claim is closed, this happen several times not once. Still waiting for a replacement unit since the part could not be found available. been a month.

Disappointed that CHOICE would not repair the microwave and only give me a replacement value option. Even with the replacement value given it's costing me more to purchase one of same style and have it installed. Should not cost customer more to replace than what it would have been to repair. Why have Home Warranty if in the end I pay more than CHOICE does...not to mention I had to pay $75 come out fee on top of everything!

I like the company services, but its customer service is not the best. I just called and asked to renew my services for 3 properties. I was quoted 460 for each property for each property.... but when I looked at the policies , it was 558 for each property more than what online is offering.. Now I am being charged $139 a month for all 3 properties.. I need to resolve this matter, one of my policy numbers is 602010858. Please assist me in resolving this matter. thank you

We had a part go out on our microwave. Since the appliance is so old, the part cannot be ordered. Choice Home Warranty is giving us part of the money needed to replace the microwave and we have to wait 30 days for the money to arrive in the form of a gift card. So we are without a microwave for another few weeks at least and have to pay the difference of the cost of the new microwave.

For my last claim the company that choice sent out did a fine job. I little while later I had issues with the same problem. They came back and fixed this at no charge. Choice sent out a very favorable company. Would use them again.

Had the service for 2 months now and it has been great. Got my oven fixed and the technician who came to our home was great. I docked the service 1 star because it took 6 days before someone could come to our home, so I had to use heavy tape to keep our oven door up.

I have been trying to get a hard copy in the mail of my new contract for months now and have called at least 7 times. Each time they assure me it will be in the mail within 7-10 days, still nothing. However, they do respond to claims in an appropriate manner and the last technician I had from Frontier HCP was excellent. JT was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fixed the link under my kitchen sink very quickly.

Overall, CHW is pretty decent. However, their automatic email sent upon confirming an appointment claims that the appointment is between 11 AM - 3 PM, regardless of what the technician has scheduled. This is misleading and frankly a baffling design choice. Other than that, no issues!

I had a problem with water backing up to n y dishwasher I assumed it was from garbage disposal they sent a plumber replaced garbage disposal still had problems so they sent appliance technician chech dishwasher it was problem on water line line don’t understand why plumber didn’t figure that out . It cost be two service charges. I think they should have waved it. So I’m jii out t happy

Yesterday experience was great but I was provided wrong information from the sales team when I signed up for 1 year and extended to 3 years. I was told I could use an certified provider. I asked and confirmed that 3 times. Then when I need to put in a claim I'm told no I have to use a provider Choice gives me. I have the option to get my own person but they might not cover services. I asked for a list of approved providers and was told that wasn't something they could do which is ridiculous.

Very good! The technician had the problem diagnosed in just a minute or two, had to wait for 30 minutes to get approval to fix it, and then had it repaired in about 10 minutes. Also, they were able to come out a day earlier than expected!
