They do not have contracts with repair companies in my area. Which means I have to find a contractor and finance the repair for a couple of months until Choice reimburses me. This also required many phone calls to get a check cut.

Choice Home Warranty operates like an underworld enterprise, taking policyholders' money while delivering nothing in return. We had a claim that this company ignored for over four months. They finally denied the claim. A second claim they also denied. Forget this company unless you want to throw your money away. P.S. I want to cancel my policy.

Don’t always use the best quality technicians. Also technicians often complain about the process when coordinating expenses with CHW. Also not very flexible for replacement cost options and proof od item.

Not worth the money!! I paid 1 full year for the premium warranty. $651. Now have appliances going out and. Choice won't honor what they promised. Took my money and that was that. There are other home warranty companies that offer more coverage, no 30 day wait and cheerfully honor their warranty.

Needed emergency furnace replacement and claim denied due to no prior authorization! Upstate NY in October with temps in 20's and Choice wants me to sit and wait for them to give prior authorization. Despite all my documentation w Tech diagnosis and paid receipts, including cancelled checks but NO CONSIDERATION at all.....CLAIM CLOSED, SORRY!!!!!

Our first experience with making a claim did not go well. They gave us an appointment time for a tech to come service our appliance, but never communicated that to the tech, so they never came. After several calls to their call center in India, we ended up having to do the "reimbursement option" and are still waiting for reimbursement.

They don't keep their word as far as repairing or replacing items. People get a warranty company to either repair the item or replace it. And they said they don't replace items, they want to kind of give you a cash settlement which is less than it costs to actually purchase it yourself and have it installed.

I actively will tell anybody I know not to use Choice. They are the worst company. It took multiple calls to resolve any issue and sometimes it was also very difficult to understand the support staff. They didn't understand the issue and they were also not informative or understanding the contract.
