I have had the policy since 2021. I have made 2 claims and both have been denied for some stupid reason. I asked for a supervisor and the claims manager said there was no one above her and hung up on me because my 15 minutes were up. I know she has a boss. She is not the president of Choice warranty.

This company is a joke. The customer service lack of customer service knowledge is baffling. The turn around to get a response on the message portal is sad just like the reply that is never helpful. DO NOT pay ahead for a year to save, its a trap.

If I good give zero stars then I would. I'm not seen as a person just a number in your system. Claims resolution is way longer than necessary. Terrible communication. Having to live with no refrigerator for 3 weeks now is beyond insensitive.

One of my service request was done by company, then I found out later it was not done correctly and instead of sending a technician out free of charge due to the contractor error, choice advised I would have to put in another service request and pay another service fee since it was beyond 30 days !!

Called twice for the same problem with the refrigerator in a three week period. Had the same company come to do the second repair. He said I had a 30 day warranty, but would not honor it as he came back to do the repairs after the 30 days. I do not want that company coming back to do any of my repairs.

I cancelled my Home Warranty program. My ac went out and the technician diagnosed it to be the fan motor on my air handler. Choice Home Warranty wanted to change out the whole air handler for a cost of over $4200 to me. I declined and would never recommend them for any project

They lie about coverages when you sign up. Then when you submit a claim they himhaw around from paying the claim paying only a portion or not covering at all when asked. But then they get attitude when you want your appliance replaced.

The second and third claim on the dishwasher was due to the door latch switch. The. Technician on the third claim said the door latch switch was bad and needed to be replaced. But CHW denied the repair. Perhaps I should find another warranty company

I'm extremely disappointed with Choice. After 3 visits from a repairman it was determined that you would have to replace my dishwasher. You gave me $246 for a new dishwasher. That will barely cover the installation charges. I am leaving Choice for another home warranty company.

If you live in a rural area like I do, don't bother. They say (CHW) covers you but, it takes them days or even weeks to get something fixed. I was without a refrigerator for over a month. Then I had to FIGHT with them to finally realize that the refrigerator I had couldn't be fixed.

The warranty coverage is fairly good, but the claims resolution process is horrible! Claims reps have the authority to reject a case, and customers have no recourse other than small claims. I believe their management either knows about this and believe it saves the company money, but the PR is very lacking!

Repairs take forever. Repair was scheduled for 11 AM to 3 PM Received a text at noon that the part necessary for the repairs was not available yet and the repair needed to be rescheduled for two weeks later. Due to the lack of advanced notification, I lost a day of work, not happy

Some of the contractors they have sent to my home are well below competent. Also I paid extra to add coverage on my stand alone icemaker and they entered it as a second refrigerator. When I had a claim on the icemaker, I had to pay another $200 for icemaker coverage which basically corrected their mistake.
