Requested service for a leaking shower faucet, they replaced the cartridge but did not cover the handle which was stripped. So had to pay extra for the faucet handle so we could use the shower.

They approved a couple of claims. The bigger claims they did not. Once my unit needed coolant and they would not cover it. So I had to pay the service call plus $300. I could have taken the money I’ve paid them saved it paid for repairs myself and had money left over. Other times there has been some fine print in the contract and they wouldn’t cover repairs. Also they have gone from $45 a month and $65 service fee to $85 a month and $100 service fee without proper notification.

Choice is the worst company I have ever dealt with! It took 2 weeks to get a plumber to come fix my faucet! Then they made me pay $40 over the deductible saying they would only pay for a portion of the cost for the faucet itself! I canceled my policy right after this debaucle! I highly recommend you stay away from these rip off artists!

I have to give one star because although Choice came through in helping “a little” toward my fridge & pool pump, they paid NOTHING for my A/C & heat. I had to pay $6,500 out of pocket to an out of town looser that they sent me! Then they told me that they would pay me $3k reimbursement but NEVER did!!

I have a claim on my refrigerator opened since April. Part of the problem was fixed but not the water dispenser. Four technicians have been assigned and no resolution. Choice does not want to replace the fridge. I am going back and forth with them. This issue needs to be resolved. You will lose a customer soon.

Repairman could not come out for a week. Lost all food. Was without a refrigerator for a month. Got charged two payments of $120.00 each. One at the beginning for a service charge( expected). One at the end because repairman said all parts weren’t covered ( unexpected). Difficulty getting phone calls returned.

After 2 weeks, CHW still had not scheduled someone to fix my water heater. I couldn't be without hot water any longer. I called in a repair company. They highly suggest to replace the unit, as the cost would be the same as a new unit. CHW refused to pay anything. Waste of time and money. Customer service was horrible.

When an item needs to be replaced they do not give you what the item is worth. I have to pay my copay wish they come out then more money for the item when they don’t fully reimburse. Even if I buy the cheapest one they sell, it doesn’t cover it. Then I have to install the new item myself.
