Claim process is easy. What I least like are some of the companies you work with...the last heating and preconditions company was supposed to be here friday,June 11, and they never showed up or called to cancel. I think you should screen companies thoroughly.

My wife did not like no human contact with only email communication it makes people feel left hanging… you should consider text communication so people don’t feel driven to watch their email… How ever the service was prompt communicative - cognitive - friendly - hard working in hot condition. The company should not up sell by communication they hound up sell with promotional sheet…. Showing option with Cost of upgrade printer otherwise when the tech up sells you feel like you could be taken advantage of … example I negotiate fir a living and am aware of cost of product - but what about older person or women/man retired or elderly or young couple not aware of cost they immediately go on defense.

I filed a claim on line, was promptly notified by the repair company and an appointment was set up. They arrived on time, were extremely knowledgeable and fixed our AC unit in no time. They gave us some advice on how to clean the exterior part of the unit. It was one of the most enjoyable repair experiences I’ve ever had.

So far I am pleased with the ease of reporting the claim. The agents have been cordial to talk with. Once the claim is advertised seems to be where the problems start. I takes a long time to get a tech company to respond to my problem. You send me a notice that I can get my own tech but there are all kinds of problems there. First it is hard to find a company that will mess with a warranty company like yourselves. If I do find one you won’t pay any labor. It’s just not a good situation. Seems like you need to develop a better reputation with these companies.

Although the experience was seamless, I was slightly disappointed in the final outcome. Our washing machine needs to be replaced. We paid about $1,000 originally since it was a larger drum high efficiency washer, but the original replacement amount Choice was going to provide was only $346. I had to fight to get more money for the replacement. We finally agreed to $476. That still isn't enough, but grateful to get what we received.

Happened really fast if anything I would say just let the customer know they will be getting call so quickly. Love the urgency just questioned the authenticity of the call. It went smooth, but fast. Would like to make sure we cover everything of importance since it moves pretty quickly. Overall good experience.

The technician was very friendly and presentable. He was able to determine that our washer was repairable but the parts needed to be ordered. Advised that I would be getting an email on when the parts would be available and another appointment is scheduled for next Thursday. I’m ok with that because my washer is semi working.

Choice seems like a decent company. Worst experience so far is the amount of calls they give to you when you are inquiring about plans. I couldn't pay that call and everyday for two weeks, I received a call from some sales rep. Finally when I had the time to do the purchase, I received 100 off the annual price, free month and 20 off of the service call fee. Way better than the offer when I first called. Choice took care to make a competitive offer that I couldn't refuse. Otherwise, the annoying calls would have lost my service. We will see how their service calls work in the future.

It took a really long time to get someone with enough sense and who knew what was going on to Finally get the ball rolling and fix my air. This started in June and hopefully my unit will be replaced this week. Being in the South it has been in the high 90's to the 100's Thank You Patricia for a job well done.

I went online and filed a claim for my pool problem. they responded right away. Not finding a contractor immediately they offered me the reimbursement method. I decided to wait until they found someone. The tech came out, I paid my service fee and he fixed my pool problem in about an hour. It's fine now . thank You Choice

The first time we had a problem, it was taken care of, and we were kept aware of what was happening. However, the last problem we had was taken care of in a great great manner. Mr. Lee checked in with us daily, to let us know a part was ordered, when he expected the part to be delivered, and then to let us know it had arrived. He was very pleasant, and explained everything so we could understand what he was doing. He is an asset to CHW.

Responsive service call (two days). Firm that came out was very professional and capable (Reliable Garage Door Service). Turns out that no parts needed to be replaced at this time, but he pointed out a component that was nearing failure and would probably require service in the future. Adjusted a number of components and ensured proper operation before leaving the property.

I honestly really love Choice Home Warranty in most cases, but with my last 2 claims I have had costumer service reps give me wrong information that almost landed me holding the bill. Coverage is awesome, and when it has gone right there is no better especially compared to the previous home warranty companies I've had, but the the costumer service reps have told me wrong information more than once, 3 times actually. I still recommend them Choice over the other companies, but watch what costumer service tells you.

My A/C all of a sudden quit cooling at 9PM. I filed a claim not expecting anyone to come out that evening, but early next morning, the A/C company was at my door fixing the issue. Choice has always sent people out with no questions on all the claims I have filed. Very pleased with them.

I got a very fast and good response when I called with a microwave problem. A claim number was allocated within minutes (about 45 minutes ago) and I am now awaiting a call from an approved technician to come, critique and resolve the problem

I used the online claim feature. We had no AC once returning home after 1 week. That evening I had the company info and called their rep. The response and service was great. Choice Warranty did a great job arranging a very reputable and skilled hvac company. Very pleased with the results.

He came before my original appointment day. He went right to work taking my clothes dryer part to replace the belt. He had to work in a cramped area. It was a stacked dryer and washer in a little area not much wider that the units. He had to get a ladder to get the top off the dryer. I was very satisfyed with his work.

quick response for appointment scheduling technician email response for appointment scheduling adequate time for parts repair. More technician training is needed to adequately check for safety on all appliances to make sure appliances are working properly. Customers should not be telling technicians that they need to do a maintenance check on their appliances. Technicians should be knowledgeable about maintenance check automatically and should be their main priority for all appliances.

Service was excellent, but wish I was able to speak to a human, instead of it being a virtual assistant. The company All HVAC Services was excellent! Top notch. And if it wasn't for me getting a call from them the night before I would have missed the appointment. The virtual assistant gave me the wrong time. But the owner Larry was great and accommodated a time for me. But I did receive a call when the virtual assistant said I would. Thank you Choice! Susan Coviello

MY recent experience with Gator Drain and Plumbing was simply outstanding. They kept me updated on their arrival, and when they arrived they were very professional in all aspects.

Good so far. They did deny one claim. I suppose I should have read the policy more closely, so please be sure that you do. They upsell you on the policy because it has limited roof leak coverage. They don't bother to ask you what type of roof you have... but then when you make a claim, they mention that their policy excludes tile rooves. They approved the first appliance claim for my refrigerator, though, and scheduling was easy. Repair has not been completed yet (part had to be ordered), but so far so good.

I bought this coverage for our "New" older home, reason was because the home came with appliances I did not know anything about, like if there were any problems. Glad I did as 2 months into our "New" home the A/C went out, made 1 call and paid the service fee and it was fixed. SAVED me about $1400 and I only paid the $69 service call

Had an issue with the AC system in our new home. The Choice company assigned a tech within 2 hours from the moment I opened the claim, and the tech came within 48 hours. The tech was able to diagnose and promptly fix the issue and get our AC back in operation. I am very satisfied!

Very few contractors will take Choice because of past problems with timely and even delinquent payments so you are unable to choose the reimbursement process. The amount of time from when you file a claim to resolution is absolutely rediculous with most claims. Lastly, they state they will replace a unit with a comparable unit with the same features. For us this always works out to be right at half the cost of the actual exact replacement unit we had. They find the absolute cheapest, worst rating, appliance with the lowest price to get that number. We will not renew our policy, we will do a better job of shopping around for a better home warranty policy.

Someone was out on 4-19-21 to repair my washer. After 2 or 3 loads the washer is doing the same thing it was doing before it was “repaired”. The tech asked me to call him if I had any problems and I have with no luck so I have put in for another service call. Another 85.00. By time this is done I could have purchased a new washer for what I’m paying in service call fees. It sucks!!

Most everything was fine. Chris was a great technician. Finished the repair very quickly. If I had any complaint, it would be that for refrigerator/freezer repair, same day service should be a must. We lost some food because of having to wait a day. That being said, Choice Home Warranty served us well.

as far as the timeliness from when I put in my request. I would like to say I was very impressed with how soon choice warranty had someone sent out to my home. They kept me updated with when someone would be out to my home in timing. The young man who came out came in the hours that were expected he was very polite. However, I believe there was some lack of experience. When he reattach my toilet he did not attach it back to the water line. He left a mark on my wall and also left a big mess in my bathroom. I am also not sure if he actually fixed the problem based on the ticket he put in. On the ticket it said the issue was never resolved. So I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that I do not have to call and put in another request. But thank you choice warranty for sending someone out so quickly.
