I can file a home warranty claim any time and the response is within a couple of days. The cost of warranty is reasonable. Some of the contractors are so biased towards the Choice that they make every excuse to deny the claim in spite of charging the deductible which is not refundable. Most of times the customer ends up paying for most of the repairs and I have had fair share of disputes with Choice.

CHW scheduled a visit from a tech very quickly, but I was able to correct he situation my self, saving the service charge. Still, it was nice to have someone to call, helped me feel safe. They were very supportive and helpful. Thank you CHW.

They are very good when it comes to repairs on appliances. Usually, someone is sent to the house fairly quickly, makes the repair and is done. When it comes to replacing an appliance they no longer want to fix, you will not get half of what you paid to replace it. They gave me a "buyout" which they stated was what they could get a comparable unit for. Since I can't replace my dishwasher with a comparable unit for the money they offered me, I asked them to replace it. They said no and now I am getting a check for less than half of what it will cost me for the same machine, let alone installation and removal of the old machine.

In regards to Choice Home Warranty Service, not the latest technician/company:Every service required a number of days to find a service company to schedule. Previous miscommunications led to denials that the representatives said should be covered if they could fix their own system and is no fault of ours. Which is simply unacceptable and absurd. We wont be renewing but we will use the service through the term since we paid for it and tried to cancel after the first service and realized we wouldn't get our money back. Otherwise, the companies and technicians that have serviced have been good to great!

Garage door motor malfunctioned and I called CHW. They processed the claim and a technician was sent out the very next morning. Very professional and neat and replaced the motor, once it was determined it could not be repaired. I was very pleased and also amazed at how simple the process was. I have a rental condo at the Lake of the Ozarks and my tenant called and said the furnace quit working so the next day I put a claim in and was able to hire my own technician. Technician came out and worked with Choice on approving the repairs. The claim was approved and furnace was repaired. Now just waiting for my reimbursement from Choice.

I just paid $3200 for a renewal of a contract and added a second property. I called needing service on the new contract and was refused service because I was within the 30 day waiting period which no one explained to me before laying out all that cash for the two contracts. I called another HVAC contractor, they came and there was nothing wrong, but still laid out an additional $81.00 inn cash. Needless to say, I was put out not knowing this was CHW’s policy.

I've had CHW now for nearly 5 years. They promptly assign a technician and my problems are handled mostly in a prompt fashion. The only criticism I have is with their reimbursement policy. I've had a couple of claims where the technician was a jerk or there wasn't a qualified tech in my area. I had to arrange for repairs and pay for them myself. They don't cut a reimbursement check for 30 days which can be a hardship to those of us on fixed incomes. Other than that, I think they're great and have certainly got my money's worth out of their program.

I had a water leak in my kitchen, contacted Choice and they promptly responded that someone would be out the next morning. The plumber came on time and was excellent. He fixed a difficult problem and explained what he was doing and why. He knew his job and had a great attitude.

Very affordable, with great references, however I felt high pressured, with all the phone calls. I gave a 4 stars rating. I would've given 5*, But I was called by multiple sale agents, and your company was not the worst about many contacts per day. That said, I went with choice for value and references. There are many warranty Companies so I guess that's why all the different "specials" you send one. All sales people were polite, and persistent.

I was interested in getting a home warranty and my neighbor recommended you. So I signed up the other day and hope you are as good as you claim. I’ve had other warranty programs in the past and also major problems with them. Your sales rep Steven K assured me I wouldn’t have those problems. Only time will tell. My home was built in 2016 and hopefully repairs won’t be necessary any time soon.

Disappointed with slow response to our failed furnace. We were in a very cold house until the technician finally arrived three days later. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a gas valve. We were shocked that a valve was not covered. No solution was offered to us as to what to do next. We had to call another HVAC company to come and fix the problem. We spent seven days of no furnace in a very cold house using only space heaters running day and night confined to three rooms. We do not understand why a small part cannot be covered and looking at the contract, it appears that almost nothing is covered. Will likely switch to a different company after our contract runs out.

I would have given a 5 star, but I was informed by Choice Home Warranty of the date and time frame. When I called the plumbing company to confirm arrangements I was informed Choice Warranty does not set their appointments. Rescheduled with plumber for another day. Thankful I had another working toilet to use. The plumbers was terrific. Clean, respectful to my property and cleaned up after themselves

I like that they do show up and perform their repairs or whatever the home owner wishes to address. If the work is on their schedule it is addressed in full fashion. When there is a delay the customer generally is made aware of this.

I have had a problem with the 2 claims I have put in for my dishwasher draining in to my kitchen sink (dishwasher works good) but apparently the drain is clogged. and the water runs into my sink. I already paid C-force($45.) to fix it . He said it was clogged, left to get a snake to unclog it but never returned. Now I had to make a new claim, no one has responded yet. I may have to get a plumber my self.??

This is my third year renewing with Choice. The additional two months and extra coverage of roof and central vacuum were essential to my decision. But I think they should seriously change the name to PRESSURE home warranty. When I contacted the sales rep and Monday Dec. 29, he knew who I was before I told him. (strange but ok). Strikes : 1. He told me I could not renew and pay in monthly payments 2. Once I decided to renew and paid for a year and 2 months free, an additional offer was suggested. It was suggested that I pay over a thousand dollars for a 3 year plan that in the long term would be better. I agree but it is not affordable presently. TONE OF VOICE HARSH. I HUNG UP. Sales pressure does not change my personal financial situation. 3. Based on this the new name should be changed from Choice to PRESSURE HOME WARRNTY. There are other companies competing for your business. I'd advice reviewing at least ten each year before making your final decision.

I called Troy to tell him that my microwave is possessed. Out of the clear blue it will start on its own. You open the door and shut it and it will start. He was very helpful and said he would file the claim and they would get back to me in a day or so. I am a big fan of choice warranty and think that everybody should have this company.

I had been considering obtaining a home warranty for a while and received a call from CHW. Initial contact was pleasant and very informative. James (the 2nd person I spoke with) was very informative as to what coverage was available, etc. As I continued the conversation, I discovered that the warranty could be for one year at a reasonable price or 3 years with a better price per year or even more extended at an even better price with additional features.

Home Warranty is an OK company at one time I would of rated them higher . Reason I rated them lower was my dishwasher failed they sent out someone to fix it they were very good but the out come was I needed to replace it . They paid for a 5 years old dishwasher repaired once 179.00 to replace it it cost 150.00 to install so I had to research and purchase from a company I have never used before free delivery and free install and it cost me more money for a dishwasher with low water usage and low noise decimal I am paying 799.00 for replacement expensive on my part yet I am paying 54.00 monthly for chw and if you add that up it is costly . I guess something is better than nothing and maybe my understanding is wrong about if we cannot fix we will replace .

The repairman was on time, and told us what needed repaired. The garage door opener was in bad shape. He replaced what he could. Have warranty on all the parts he fixed. Motor will be replaced in a later date. Any of the parts go bad, he said give them a call. Have a new remote for the garage door. Good Job

When my oven took a crap it only took a day or so for a tech to come out. He was very friendly, personable and okay with my dogs. Due to the age of my stove/oven it just needs to be replaced. CHW offered a buy out and I took it.

My furnace stopped working on Thurs around 7 pm. I called CHW and there was a repairman here to fix it @ 3 pm Fri. The tech was very professional and speedy with his work. He fixed it. EFFICIENT HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING IS VERY efficient.
