AC system wore out. submitted pictures that the man you sent out misdiagnosed problem. Even though documentation was presented via second opinion that system was wore out, you still denied my claim on your man's word. I was told that if I got it fixed for $366, you would reimburse me $150. They came out and could not fix it (worn out, 25 years old). Now comes third opinion next week. Mean while it's hot as heck, I'm disabled, live alone, don't have car, and can't leave. My son put a small window unit in. I have to hover round it inasmuch as my place is open concept. Next week I have a third person coming who specializes in mobile homes. Maybe I can finally get some relief. Ya'll have been decent to me in the past. I feel like the man you sent out (who wanted his money up front), didn't want to fool with it. He said the unit was closed unit. I had to show him where the screws were to open it and then when he left, he left the screws out complaining how unbearably hot it was. Thanks for letting me vent. I feel YOU could have sent another person out to substantiate the findings. y1

I was very pleased with the Sears service man who repaired my stove. He was efficient, polite, and thorough. He fixed the problem in a short period of time and left no mess. My only fee was the Choice Service Fee which is very reasonable. I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty.

I have used them only once and was very impressed with the customer service. My dryer quit working when I was in the middle of doing laundry. They took really good care of me. I had to wait a couple of days, but that happens on occasion. I would recommend this company from my experience with them.

After the first contractor to fix my A/C thermostat issue never showed up for the second time, Choice found another contractor who arrived the same day. My issue was quickly assessed and a needed part was in the contractors truck. Within an hour, the part was replaced, I paid my $65 service fee and everything was working again. I would use the contractor again

I get top quality technicians to handle my repairs. Choice seems to prefer the buy-out option to replacing an item. My experience has been that the buy-out amount falls significantly below what I have to pay for the replacement. I am currently having difficulty getting a dishwasher repaired. I have been waiting more than a month for the technician to return with a part to complete a repair. There seem to be some difficulty getting the part.

The technicians that come to my house have been a mix of wonderful and terrible. the WeFIX IT company and Mike D were wonderful. Chris B and Michael A were terrible. The case managers seemed mediocre to terrible. One exception was Lydia C. The system of having to log into the website and having to wait for case manager to call, even with appointments is so time consuming and can make the smallest issue into a large one. Ms. C was kind enough to email me directly and accept calls in a timely manner so in her case this was not the case. She also explained how the contract works something the other case managers did not. But in addition the contract itself is misleading. Replacement of appliances is in essence not a replacement but a contribution toward replacement because the money given does not allow you to replace even if you accept any brand or color.

We have had two open claims just under a month now with NO resolution, no follow up on Scheduled appointment, hung up on three times, told by several written communications and once by a "manager" that someone would be calling us... HASN'T HAPPENED!!!!! We now want Out of our contract as they have breached it! Very Dissatisfied Paying Customer! Learn from our mistake!

We submitted a claim about 8:30 in the morning and they had a service provider scheduled by that evening. The service provider not only showed up at the scheduled time. He fully explained what was covered by the warranty service and he completed the repairs above my expectation. I have already recommended this company to my friends.

Disposal went out Thursday morning. Set up a claim and appointment within an hour. Plumbers came 2 hours later and replaced the Disposal with a new one. Pretty impressive considering this happened on December 23, 2 days before Christmas. Pretty hard to beat that customer service.

They are quick to set up appointments to help you get your appliances back running. Only problem is if u need a part you May be waiting 2 weeks, than u have to reschedule Choice Home Warranty to send out another technician to install the part. So in the interim your appliance still has issues, there should be a better way to get the parts needed..

My service technician called to let me know the time of his arrival and was on time. He diagnosed the problem but did not have the part on hand to effect the repair. I have been informed that in approximately 1 1/2 weeks from the visit a follow up visit will be made to make the repair and return the unit to proper operation. I am a little disappointed at the time required to acquire the part but understand the impact of C-19 on all business now a days. Tech Terrant Mechanical was excellent by the way!

This was my 1st time having a problem with Choice. I called about my air conditioning not working and you all put a request in for 2 technicians. Neither one could come. So we did have any cool air in my house for 3 days. So I was very upset when I talked to the representative. She didn't give no other choices. She just said I have to wait to 48 hrs before another technician email me. I had already waited 3 days. So I told her that I was going to close my account. She told me that was my choice. She didn't try to convince me to stay and tell me that it was other options. So I call back and told the next representative and she transferred me to the right office and the lady said I can get my own which I already did and she sent me the reimbursement form. Now Mr B said you told him that's not choice amount. The $60 dollars are included in his amount plus he had to buy a brand new blower and put it in plus his labor. So you need to reimburse me $255. I PAID him $315.

I was impressed with the technician who serviced my last plumbing problem. He was here the very next day I submitted my claim online. He had everything he needed to fix it on his truck. One thing I don't like is having to do this same survey, for the same problem, several times.

I spoke with someone by the name of Lydia C. At first, her conversation was pleasant but then it change. I receive an e-mail stating that I had a single-door refrigerator. No,! I own a DOUBLE GE Profile with a water and ice dispenser. The dollar amount to replace my unit was well below what I presume it be. She stated that was not within their guidelines! I informed her that I had paid up my contract till the year 2023. Yes, she was aware of that but that's what the guidelines are, and she could not change the figure. I said I am thinking about canceling my contract. Again she stated that Choice was the best home warranty and she went on to say if I cancel my contract it would cost me. Furthermore, she compares my air conditioner costing me about $8000.00 dollars if it breaks down. Finally, I was informed that I would be receiving the money within 10-15 days. Now I receive another e-mail stating I should be receiving money within 30 days. George Forman states how Choice takes care of their customer in a timely manner. what going on? This whole venture started on Aug. 26, 2021. It will probably be the middle of September before I get my refridgertor.

With a city this large Choice Home Warranty should have more contractors on board. Sometimes it take one(1) to two (2) weeks before you can get a warranty job completed. Some of the Your Home Service Agreements contradicts the agreement. A. Coverage then there D. Coverage (COVERAGE DEPENDANT ON PLAN 8. PLUMBING SYSTEM/STOPPAGE (Platinum Plan & Gold Plan) obviously, I have one of these plans, gold or platinum, platinum or gold?

Reported that a fix was not really fixed and required re visit. Wrote this in comments on the request and said that I did not expect a $75 service charge for this third visit for the same issue. Waited 9 days for a service call. At 3:17 in the morning of service call date I received an email saying there would be a $75 service charge. When I saw the email at 10a I called 4 hours before scheduled appointment and was first told that there was not enough time to change the charge. When I told the representative that there was 9 days for a human being to read my comments and fix this, he got a supervisor involved and I was not charged. Why bother having a comments section on the request if no one is going to read it? and why didn’t’ someone reach out to me about this before the service call date. It was corrected but, This inattention to detail caused me anxiety and necessitated me taking action and using some pretty strong language to get the charge changed. I was first told I would be charged and I could request reimbursement! That’s ridiculous! Have. Human check these requests!

For this instance, I had extremely fast service and the technician took care of me on the first visit. But my 3 star rating is for Choice overall. The price for the warranty is fair. However, Choice has denied to pay valid claims. One was on my washing machine. They said the technician claimed I had abused the machine, but CHW refused to let me see any paperwork indicating this. I didn't believe them, but had no way to force the issue. At this time, I signed up for the AZ class action suit against CHW. When I made a claim on my A/C, they denied the claim saying they could see rust in a picture of my condenser. The tech fought for me saying that the condenser is aluminum and doesn't rust, and that the rust in the picture came from the bracket holding my condenser in place.

On their website they offered me one year but I emailed them and they called me and offered a 5 year (+ one free year) at a discounted rate which saved me money. The person who called was really friendly and went out of his way to find me the best deal.

My first experience with Choice home. M refrigerator went out I lost more than $150 dollars of food. Choice told me that I would have to wait a whole month to get the replacement money for a another fridge I feel like I should not have to wait a month to get a replacement. Now I had to throw out the other stuff in my fridge and eat out for hole month which will be costing me extra money. What if it had been my air conditioner and hot as it is would have to wit whole for it also. This is the only thing that i do not agree with your company

Response to clients requests are prompt without delay. Technicians selected by CHW and assigned to jobs are professional and experienced. Apart from the appearance fee charged by the technicians no other payment is made. Indeed, CHW is dependable and the best.

I am not the owner of the CHW policy, but I live in this house and was here when the plumber arrived. While he was still on my front porch, he said,”You made a mistake, you shouldn’t have painted this concrete floor.” (He is a plumber, not a painter and I hadn’t asked for his advice.”) As we walked down the hall, he asked, in an arrogant voice, “How long have you lived here anyway?” As a plumber, I thought his work was well done, but I would not ask him to come to my house again. The claim was handled satisfactorily and I have no problems with the CHW company.

I got the policy in 2021. So far it has been well worth the money. I'm not a DIY person and the coverage gives me peace of mind should something in the house go wrong. I have been impressed as to how quickly claims are responded to. I have had issues with very long wait times when I try to call in and not getting a return call when I use that option. That said, I'm pretty satisfied at this point.

I had AC unit and condenser installed by Choice Home Warranty assigned HVAC company in 2023. In 2024 spent $60.00 for Choice Home Warranty assigned HVAC company to report that AC fault was that 2023 installers did not connect a necessary wire. Choice notified of issue and wire connected. I contacted Choice for assistance in recovery of $60.00 fee paid in 2024 to remedy the negligent installation of AC in 2023. Choice provided no assistance to me to obtain reimbursement under warranty of negligent work done by HVAC company in 2023. Key point is that Choice customer had no recourse except to accept the cost of negligent workmanship not the dollar amount. at issue.

I was with Amer Home Shield before and switched to Choice. I love the fact that the service is scheduled asap and I pay the tech that comes out. AHS would have you pay online, wait for the payment to clear, and the n schedule svc - this added days onto the call that didn't need to be.

I have no problem with choice warranty with their technicians. However I pay monthly payments for the service and I was glad that they grandfathered me in at the prices and the rates that I pay. However, what I don’t like is two times that I’ve had claims for the same problem two years apart they can’t seem to allow the technicians to go one step further to fix the problem saying it’s not covered and I’m not agreeing with that. All they did is put a Band-Aid on it for now.I had to put in a claim I don’t have the time to debate this. It’s not because I don’t want to because I have a husband and a daughter in the hospital with serious conditions so I just don’t need the extra aggravation. The technicians were great.
