I found it very easy to schedule repair service for my dryer. The request for service was done via email. I was able to obtain a service provider the next day. I made the request at 11:00 pm on a Saturday evening. By Sunday afternoon I received a email indicating who the service provider was and what day and time the provider was arriving. I called the service provider to try and obtain an approximate time he would be arriving because I needed to do other chores. Everything worked out well. The service provider was knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty.

I liked the prompt responses but had some issues with the details of the claim. You have to understand the technician was not a network member so they knew they were getting paid from me, so the details of the receipt were vague. I think you as a company has to understand that and make it easy for the homeowner, otherwise your company did a nice job with the process.

I was very pleased with the technician that came to diagnose the problem with the stove. I am not so very pleased with what Choice Home Warranty is offering as a solution for the stove. You recommended replacing the stove but you only offering a 3rd of a new stove cost to replace it with.

I would give 5 stars however I just purchased the policy and will leave another review later if I use the policy. However with that said, the gentleman, Justin that I spoke with was very kind and pleasant. Was not pushy and did explain everything in detail. I was impressed with his professionalism. I was needing to purchase a plan and I feel better that I was able to have the chance to experience this with the help of Justin. He is top notch when it comes to explaining and helping with all questions that I asked. He is a 5 STAR!

Toilet tank was not filling with water. Plumber from Wright Plumbing came out right away, the same day I got notification from CHW that they were looking for someone, the day after I called the problem in. Fast, courteous service and problem fixed. I am very satisfied.

Submitted the work order and dispatch happened quickly. Tech was able to get out a day earlier than expected and was friendly and resolved my issue and explained what he found and fixed. He spent a few more minutes verifying the fix and was very thorough in his inspection

The second one was quick professional and kept me informed. Hilltop plumbing and heating was fantastic.

Original company assigned to this claim should be removed from your list. First they were a no show,no call on date I was given. I called CHW and they checked on a number to contact company, not available, so reassigned. The following day the original company called me. I advised since no show it was canceled & reassigned. He was very rude and said he was never to show yesterday, no contact to me was made, I advised that he was scheduled with a time frame for yesterday. He was rude and told to go ahead and get someone else I would have not let him in my home, he made be very uncomfortable.

Most of the time it's great. Ive needed them several times in the past 2 years and been satisfied. But once I had a clogged toilet. No plumbers were available on their list. The person on the phone told me to work along with them & try to find my own. I did, plumbers came and (after I paid), they refused to pay me back, stating the charge was not customary. It was beyond their allowance. They denied telling me to get my own.

The initial response to my claim was immediate. I expected to have to wait several days but I got a response the same day. They assigned a company to evaluate the problem and it was solved within a week. Parts had to be ordered and that delayed the repair for a few days. So far I have been very pleased with Choice.

Very pleased with Choice performance when water heater stopped working. Choice sent plumber next day. Plumber determined could not be repaired. Choice approved replacement. Plumber returned next day to install new water heater. Working great.

Awesome! Choice home Waranty has responded to 4 calls, electrical system issue, pool pump, Ac issue and pool equipment…turn around time is around 1 week, all issues were resolved on the first appointment and the deductible is very low $65. They are always polite and professional and send out top notch professionals.

Good experience. Initially they notified me they could not find an Electrician. They gave me the option to to hire someone, but I did not have the time to do it so Choice Home Warranty continued their search and they alerted me that they were ready to schedule an Electrician. Problem solved.

This is the first time having service and the Tech was presentable, would be better if with the knowledge they have came prepared with parts and it would make it easier if there was an app that would request you appliance mark & model and serial number to make it faster for simple fixes. Would be convenient as well if they gave you a receipt when paying cash.

Not sure about CHW yet. They denied my first claim. We'll see how it all turns out, but now 5 days with no heat! UPDATE! Since I posted the first review, CHW is still denying my claim based on a false report from the technician whom they claim stated I had disassembled the furnace before the tech arrived. I did open the outside cover to see if the burners were firing. Since I knew CHW was sending out a tech, and the AC drain tube made putting the cover back way too difficult, I left the cover open. I an a disabled senior adult who cannot disassemble a furnace. I received a call today from my case manager who spouted the company line of "deny, deny, deny until you tire out the client," but I'm not giving up. She referred me to someone else who was to call me in an hour. It's been 5 hrs and no response. 7 days with no heat!

My microwave was making a strange sound ...I made a claim online in the evening and a few hours later I was contacted by a local appliance vendor who made an appointment the very next day..it turned out to be the motor that turns the plate.. my microwave is 20 years old but the technician found a supplier who has the part.

This was my first warranty use and I called about my garage door not rising. Was told they would find a repair company and I would receive an email. The email came and listed an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. This was Saturday and I couldn’t get my car out of the garage. I work, I couldn’t wait that long. I ended up calling the company they supposedly contacted and was told that Choice didn’t confirm the appointment time with them and they couldn’t accommodate it. So I called Choice back and they actually called the company this time and we’re able to schedule a new appointment for early on Monday. That worked better.

My first experience with Choice Home Warranty is not a good one. The first technician receives a total failure, in my opinion. I requested service for a refrigerator (leaking inside) on Aug 6, 2021. On Aug 8, 2021 a tech showed up for the service. He evaluated and determined that the water tank was cracked and needed to be replaced. He would request approval from CHW. That tech, from MU Appliances, never came back to complete the repair. After several calls to the tech, who offered excuses (i.e., still waiting for approval, finally received approval, he got sick, then, CHW did not approve) I contacted CHW directly in October. I am told by the customer service agent that I need to pay the service fee again. CHW did not care that the service was never completed. The tech from MU Appliances actually submitted a 'completed' ticket to CHW and was paid for the incomplete service. I ended up paying up the second service fee and was satisfied with the second technician, from HM Appliances, who came and actually fixed my refrigerator. This tech was excellent. I paid for a 5-year service contract and I question my decision to do so. It seems completely unfair to have to pay twice for the same service. CHW advises customers to contact the service company with any issues. My advice is to contact CHW if an issues arises.

Once upon a time I was recommending Choice to all my friends and family. Recently, I have had nothing but problems in trying to get my claims resolved or serviced. I cannot in good conscience recommend Choice any longer. I gave it 3 stars because a few years ago, they were outstanding. I don't know what shifted with your company, but you need to go back to the "good old days" of customer service. Just recently, I put in a claim for light fixtures on Oct 4, and after many problems with getting the claim recognized as legitimate, the vendor was denied and was reassigned to someone who never showed up. It's been reassigned again for Oct 25th, so we will see. On another claim, my AC repairman called to replace covered parts, and they told him they couldn't find him in the system! After about 40 min of wasting his and my time, and going through 3 different representatives, they finally found him and recognized that they had been a very active vendor for Choice for years. It has been very frustrating dealing with the indescribably poor customer service to say the least. I am so disappointed since they once were such a great company:(

I was satisfied with all aspects of my last claim -online claim process, scheduling, reminders, technician, outcome of the repair, except was frustrated to find an extra charge above the service call. It seems since the parts required were compliments of the manufactures warranty, there was a shipment/processing fee passed on to me! Despite the fact that CHW didn’t have to pay for the $975 part, they would not cover the $75 shipping charge. I had to pay it to keep the nice technician from having to eat it! Not impressive. NOT IMPRESSIVE.!

When my electricity kept going out and I had to go outside and flip the breaker for a week and then multiple times in one day for no apparent reason, the agent on the phone understood the problem. An appointment was quickly made and an electrician came to my house. A new breaker will soon be installed. Everything has gone so smoothly!
