The person that came out was nott willing to do any extensive work had it been needed for yhe $75 but would be willing to come back out on his and/or company time to do the work of clearing the line that might involve goinhg into my wall and or floor and removing sheetrock, etc., been thing of replacing this home warranty co. if this is the kind of people you send out. He did put a new J-trap but my BR smells like sewer under the sink.

We're a little frustrated. It took two and a half months to finally get somebody on the schedule and when we had nobody show up, we had trouble getting in touch with customer service. When we finally got somebody to the house, he kind of glossed over the issue and I'm not even sure he fixed it. They have no problems if you want to email them about service special and upgrades but trying to get in touch with them to schedule any sort of service is right near impossible.

Choice Home Warranty is not a good company. They do not do what they say and they do not cover your appliances. They take your money, that is what they do. I thought they would cover 100 percent of any problem I had. My AC went out and they found a reason not to take it even though I asked for 100 percent coverage on my AC and they said they had it.

I've had claims and while they placated me on the first two, they absolutely did not cover the third, which was the whole central air conditioning unit, and we had to spend five thousand dollars. My refrigerator is acting up and I am getting nervous that they won't cover that either.

Have had to use 2 times. Both times it took a week to get someone to look at our problem. It took over 1 months to get our first problem fixed, the second, our refrigerator stopped working...2 weeks until a technician came to look at it and another week for the fix...I bought a new refrigerator! couldn't be that long without a refrigerator. NO sense of urgency!

I just recently needed to use my warranty two days ago and it was a horrible experience. They denied a claim and said that the tech that did the claim service said that we broke something in the wiring in our heating unit and that is not what the tech wrote on his report. So we are having to get an appeal to that so I'm not happy at all. They don't back up their warranty. I think their first reaction is to deny a claim.

BEWARE!!! First appliance that failed was deemed to be "out of contract coverage" so no repair or replacement. Second appliance was deemed non-repairable, and I was offered $179 to replace my dishwasher that retails for $749. Only after I complained did the offer go up to $400.

They had an excuse why anything I needed was not covered. The did not cover my ice maker in the refrigerator. They did not cover my R/O unit. The light in my refrigerator was not working, but changing the bulb did not fix it. Not covered. They would not give me a full refund, finding several fees to charge. I had to get my credit card company to reverse the charge. .

I used it for my microwave, they told me they could replace it an they agreed to the money but they never sent me a check and it has been three months. I have called customer support and they never called me back. I really loved the technician that came out for the air conditioning.

They didn't stand behind what they said they stood behind. They don't cover what I was told by a person that they do cover. I was told my leak wasn't covered when my air conditioning wasn't cooling because I had corrosion and rust. I guess I had warranty covered on the unit and so I called the company that installed and they fixed it but I still had to pay Choice seventy five dollars. I am trying to cancel it but I'm not hearing from them, and if I don't hear from them soon I will just stop my automatic payment. I do not recommend it to anybody.

I never received a written policy until my 30 day refund period was expired. There are still questions and lack of clarification that were discussed on the phone but are not in the written policy . I have not had to file a claim but I am worried that the company will not go by the verbal contract and I should have canceled when I could

Bought a 3 year plan for my mom. The first time she had to use it, it took a week for them to fins someone to come out for her washing machine and It's been a week and no one has been found to check her garage door opener! She is 74 and lives alone. This is just terrible...they had no problem taking almost $1400 from my credit card immediately, but when you need to actually use your warranty, this is what happens.

Choice denied my claim siting unchanged filters and debris ... lol 112* weather Case manager agreed to repair upon my escalating issue to management level ... only 3 days later case mgr tells me they can't get in touch with original technician for cost ... so she offered me $300 as ah courtesy. I asked to jus honor ur promise to repair ah as good will gesture as previously approved on recorded line .... they decided to take away that promised repair. Then I got lectured on da policy over and over ... depressing
