Maurice was outstanding. Ironically he sold me my home warranty in 2019. He transferred that policy to the buyer and established a new home warranty on my new home. As in 2019 Maurice was extremely friendly and most professional. He’s the best experience I have had with my home warranties.

The response to the problem was quick but I was not happy with the outcome. After they told me they were going to replace my item i received an email that they were going to give me a check towards a new one. My item cost me $1500 and they wanted to give me $220 towards a new one! That check can’t even cover half of the money I need to replace what I’m replacing !!! I need more intervention than a $200 check!!!!!

I felt like the wait time for a technician was excessive, however after speaking with the gentleman, I found out that they were at least a week out on refrigerator repairs. Choice Warranty got my claim in quickly and covered the cost of getting my appliance repaired at a minimum to me. I am happy now that I purchased this warranty service. After reading the contract there are a lot of repairs that are excluded. This would be my only dislike with the warranty service.

It was easy to submit the claim. I was not happy with air fanatics. They never returned my calls and did not seem interested in doing the work and told me that home warranties company is were a waste of money. Once we had the new company out it was extremely satisfying.

This is the 2nd time I've had an issue with the same toilet. Both times it cost me $45 for a service call which I understand. However, I didn't get any value for it. I replaced the toilet the 1st time at my expense 2 years ago. CHW said they wouldn't pay for any of it ! ! ! No surprise there. The 2nd time the toilet was leaking I called CHW and on April 7, 2020 a tech came to inspect it and hopefully Repair it. I knew where it was leaking from and the Tech agreed. No Fix by Renaissance LLC but still paid that $45 service fee. I was told to contact Home Depot where I bought it 2 yrs ago. What a waste of my time and 💰 (money).

As the lack of luck would have it, we were faced with a plumbing repair within a couple of days of having moved into our new home. The Choice online claim process was easy and a plumber was scheduled quickly. The repair was made at a cost of only $65 to us. No hassles and we are back to home sweet home.

Your response and the repair get an A+ --- the experience with the repair man gets an "F" --- his bedside manner was terrible --- if I got within 6 feet of him he said that if I did give him at least 9 feet of clearance ( due to the virus ) he was going to leave --- and the way he said it I was glad he did not carry a gun === If I had the time I would have thrown him out.

CHW’s first vendor for repairing my broken water line under my kitchen sink, worthless. Two plumbing folks came in, looked, and said they could not do the repairs need. Then left. After CHW approval, I had Done Rite Services come in and perform this repair. Recommend Done Rite Services for future home repairs. They were professional, courteous and competent. They also do electrical and other home services.

The customer service is always friendly. I have had difficulty getting some things repaired because a technician didn't accept the work. I recently had an emergency plumbing issue on a Friday morning and the technician couldn't come until the next Wednesday. I hired someone who could come right away, but Choice would not reimburse me for that. Reimbursement processed need to be easier and more customer friendly.

My washing machine went out last week, Choice was prompt in getting someone out to assess the problem. They determined that it was more cost effective to replace the washer. Then I received an email that rather than replace it, they offered a cash buy out if $299. Really? For a new washer? While mine was a high end washer, I found that I could not get even a low end, basic model for less than $497 after checking with Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Best Buy. I rejected the offer and they assigned the case to a claims specialist. She did not call me, I called her. She said that was their offer. She said the offer was based on their buyer cost. When I asked for that source, she refused to give it to me. After a half hour if protests, she gave me the final, take it or leave it, offer of $399. I did accept and we went to Home Depot. We bought a machine with less features than our old one, cost $577. This is our first experience with Choice, definitely inferior to our previous company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend. Their interpretation of repair or replace is definitely different than mine. When this policy expires I will be going back to previous warranty company. Buyer Beware.

I called and informed them that I knew I needed the septic tank pumped because I had already lived here 3 years and wasn't sure that it had been pumped by the previous owners. 3 days later a plumber shows up. I paid him because he was just doing what they asked him to do. I called the main office and the lady was trying to tell me that I didn't have septic pump coverage, I informed her that when I purchased the 3 1/2 year policy 2 years prior that I kept asking the sales rep to make sure septic pump coverage was in the package and he informed me that it was. I had already waited 4 days for the wrong person to show up and they didn't seem to be in any hurry to correct their mistake, so I came out of my own pocket to get the tank pumped. I will not renew with them if they refuse to reimburse me ( which they have already claimed they won't because the septic tank guy has more important issues than calling them first].

My husband and I are older and he can no longer do things around the house. Our washer tore up a month after we bought our warranty! The were very professional as kind and replaced our washer. We also had our pool and septic system added to our warranty! It also covers plumbing, wells duct work etc....

We had an older Kenmore dishwasher which they considered would be better to replace than fix. The original offer was 179.00 which of course we could not replace any dishwasher for that amount of money. They did come back with 250.00 which at least is about half of what it's costing us to replace the dishwasher. However, I am happy that we have Choice Home Warranty.

I can file a home warranty claim any time and the response is within a couple of days. The cost of warranty is reasonable. Some of the contractors are so biased towards the Choice that they make every excuse to deny the claim in spite of charging the deductible which is not refundable. Most of times the customer ends up paying for most of the repairs and I have had fair share of disputes with Choice.

They are very good when it comes to repairs on appliances. Usually, someone is sent to the house fairly quickly, makes the repair and is done. When it comes to replacing an appliance they no longer want to fix, you will not get half of what you paid to replace it. They gave me a "buyout" which they stated was what they could get a comparable unit for. Since I can't replace my dishwasher with a comparable unit for the money they offered me, I asked them to replace it. They said no and now I am getting a check for less than half of what it will cost me for the same machine, let alone installation and removal of the old machine.

In regards to Choice Home Warranty Service, not the latest technician/company:Every service required a number of days to find a service company to schedule. Previous miscommunications led to denials that the representatives said should be covered if they could fix their own system and is no fault of ours. Which is simply unacceptable and absurd. We wont be renewing but we will use the service through the term since we paid for it and tried to cancel after the first service and realized we wouldn't get our money back. Otherwise, the companies and technicians that have serviced have been good to great!

I have a rental condo at the Lake of the Ozarks and my tenant called and said the furnace quit working so the next day I put a claim in and was able to hire my own technician. Technician came out and worked with Choice on approving the repairs. The claim was approved and furnace was repaired. Now just waiting for my reimbursement from Choice.

I just paid $3200 for a renewal of a contract and added a second property. I called needing service on the new contract and was refused service because I was within the 30 day waiting period which no one explained to me before laying out all that cash for the two contracts. I called another HVAC contractor, they came and there was nothing wrong, but still laid out an additional $81.00 inn cash. Needless to say, I was put out not knowing this was CHW’s policy.
