Not happy with the claim reimbursement option. No technicians were available at the time of our claim. I was not aware the $5k per claim limit was not per claim bit for the whole AC system. I have 2 units. The contract reads $5k per claim and I was told this was 2 claims for 2 units.

They do not follow through on replacing things that require replacing. IF...and that's a HUGE If...they replace something, it will NEVER be full replacement....you have to squabble over getting anything they FINALLY decide you are allowed....save your money...get it fixed, or replaced yourself...They are definitely NOT out to "help" customers save! They are definitely NOT amazing!!!

I had problems with my AC/Furnace system, which is covered in my contract with Choice. First, I could never get a live person to talk to. Second, the web site wouldn't let me sign in. Third, you said you couldn't find a repair company and for me to find my own. Which I did. Then trying to get Choice to pay was a joke. I paid for it myself. When my contract is up with Choice, I will be changing companies.

No matter what they need to fix they find some type of way to make you pay. Alot of companies do not work with them because I have learned that they do not pay in a timely manner. Also the people who do work for them or accept their claims are overpriced and unprofessional. A Technician who was authorized by CHW took $1100 from me toward the Uncovered Expenses and then stopped responding to my calls and CHWs calls as well. I paid that after getting the confirmation from CHW. I was told repeatedly over the phone by CHW will reimburse me but today they said it won't be possible. I never reached out to the Technician directly at first place. CHW failed to do the due diligence in the background check of the Contractor and onboarded him. Now he has scammed CHW and its customer (me). CHW failed here miserably and asking me to take the loss of $1100.

I had to have my pool motor replaced. According to my contract it should have been replaced with equal quality equipment. Not only do I have sub par equipment, which I have now verified the same quality n brand of motor is available, it took a total of 4 months for the work to be complete and my pool sustained MAJOR damage during this time. The whole situation was a mess. Choice wasn't even aware the work was continuing because they failed to call me for 2 SCHEDULED meetings n I had no way of directly getting ahold of them!

I still do not have my microwave replacement over a month later, my son's refrigerator is not repaired yet and it has been 3 months. It is just a leaking water dispenser and the repair person broke the label plate on the front of the door when he broke the screw off in the door. At the same time the sove has not had the igniters adjusted either. I left AHS because they went up on on they monthly fees. I may go back to them, at least they did their job.

The company sucks, I waited 5 weeks to have a technician to fix my plumbing but they were unable to find one. When I found a technician to fix it they didn't want to pay reimbursement. Most of the time an outside network technician doesn't want to deal with insurance company it just took them too long to process the authorization. The CHW just want me to wait but I couldn't, it has been five weeks since my bathtub leaking. We had to turn off and on when we need to use the water. I ended up paying the cost and thy are not reimbursed the money.

My refrigerator freezer wasn't working properly. CHW contracted a specialist to determine what was the problem. He came in, pulled the refrigerator with my help. Looked at it, measured the temperature in the freezer and said it was inadequate, which I already knew. Told me he was leaving , collected $85 from me then he left. I thought he was coming back. Never returned so I had to push the refrigerator in. I would like to apply for his job. Come in collect $85 and leave. I am totally disappointed in CHW.

This warranty is garbage!!! To much fine print. They pay for what they want to pay for. The amount they pay does not cover cost of repairs. My a/c went out and I had to pay over $6000.00 for the repair. choice home warranty could not explain the amount they gave me toward this repair. They pulled a number out of a hat and said this is all we pay. My outside faucet was leaking and had to be replaced ( not covered) Plumber choise home warranty sent out wanted to charge me $1200 to fix it. I had a local plumber fix it for $125.

Quick to deny claims, horrible to work with (dispatching and the whole process drags), requires many follow-ups, and the "appeal" process is a joke. Example: pipe burst under foundation is covered... but not really, since it's a pre-existing condition (galvanized pipe put in the ground 60 years age), dishwasher "too nee to break." Why even pretend that it's covered... look elsewhere.

I have been with choice for many years now. Choice offers good value, but do not provide it. The contractors they have are horrible. They accept the claim and then keep rescheduling no fault of the customer, and then say that the part isn't covered with Choice, leaving you to pay a ridiculous out of pocket amount. Then when you call Choice, they are rude and dismissive, and say no, the part isn't covered, but if you look at your policy, it should be covered. They are a Crappy company, and I would HIGHLY suggest going with another company!!

Because there isn't anything lower listed. When you have a claim that goes to replacement they will not pay a reasonable amount. They screw the Cust over and give them the lowest amount for replacement they can. Had a top rated dishwasher go out. Beat of the best. All I recd was a little over $100. After my contract is up I won't renew. Worst home warranty company I've ever dealt with. First American way fairer on replacements

The moon contact provider was not going to fill out the form for my reimbursement, he had more people to see. Luckily it was not too expensive this time. Never do that again.
