I feel if something needs to be fixed, it should get fixed with reimbursement regardless if its in the house when it was bought. the older homes don't always have everything in your sections and the home owners should have to pay full price if they paying you all a premium that's why we have a warranty. some things aren't up to the standards you all recommend. the house is bought the way it was built back when ever it got built. I could see paying half of the bill not the whole built because of a tiolet had to be removed to fix the problem. That was the only way to get to the issue to fixed. The contractor did the job so more issues didn't happen but know I have to pay full price plus try to figure out to get an access to the sewer drainage in my house that wasn't there when I bought the home. You wont pay for two more contractors to come out to fix that know either, so that's on me again plus the whole bill from the previous issue. Thanks a lot, your not really saving me a whole lot now

I had American Home sheild I had a problem with my stove greenway was called they came out it took two months to fixed my stove. And American Home shield did nothing I haven't had choice long but I think they are great I plan to be with them a long time. And they're cheaper than america home shield too

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

I have been getting a tremendous response time to check my appliance, usually within 2 days. I did have a part that was discontinued and the repair cost was more than what was allowed so I was offered a cash settlement less than 1/3 of a replacement for a refrigerator. I declined the offer and went to negotiation. I was given $200 more, but still a little above 1/3 of the cost of a new refrigerator. Over all though, I am satisfied with

When our AC went out I made a claim late on a Wednesday night. The claims department sent me an email immediately. There was a small miscommunication with the assigned company, My email from Choice had them coming on Friday and they had it as Saturday. Choice helped me iron this out and called me back with in an hour of my email. They responded quickly throughout the process and our system was fixed by Tuesday. It was a very positive experience.

Our microwave stopped working, a tech came out to repair and diagnosed the problem. Upon requesting a board be switched out. Choice decided to replace with a new one and worked with me on replacement check. Cheryl was very professional and helpful with this process.

I’m new CHW and with the Pandemic help has been slow in coming. I have been without Air Conditioning for over a moth. I’ve tried several times to get help. A nice young man did come out to check my furnace as the pilot light went out. I called again as I needed the Air Looked at. They assigned it to Henry & Sons who it turns out hasn’t been a contractor with CHW as they had been bought out. Ray’s Heating & Cooling Is the contractor. Whoever I talked to on phone scheduled them for 3 to 8 on 6/8/20. No one came so I called and No one answered but the automated Service. I kept calling and finally I was able to talk to someone who assigned the claim to someone else but I requested Ray’s. He was scheduled to come this Monday but didn’t make it. I think there was a hiccup in communication between him and the young lady I talked with. I’m 85 years young who has her newest Great Grandchild visiting from Alabama She is only 4 months old and is my 16th Great Grandchild. Ray the owner of the Heating and Cooling is very nice and polite Which is why I requested him. I had also checked his qualifications and work ethic on BBB

I am realiizing that as I file claims, the more difficult it is to get a technician out to solve the issues. Recently the pipe to the A/C was freezing up and once I filed the claim, it took 5 days for a tech to respond and show up. This was not a good wait time and I felt like my hands were tied because I knew that if I paid up front that I would probably not be reimbursed.

MY A/C was low on refrigerant and not cooling the house. I opened up a claim on line, within three days Choice home warranty sent a technician that checked the A/C unit and refilled it just for the service charge of $65.00. I am satisfied with the warranty coverage. Giorgio

My first experience with some man (i don’t remember names well) was not good and put me off but when I was called again the woman on the phone was much better with customer service and gave me such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up so I cancelled my other trial period from another home warranty company and switched immediately.

In this midst of this pandemic my stove oven stop working. A call to Choice resulted in a quick response to send a technician. While we experience three rescheduled in the same week that I know was pandemic related when the technician arrived he was very Professional and knowledgeable and fix the issue during the first service visit. He was socual distance conscious, wore a mask and made the repair a good experience.

My initial experience with CHW was colored by confusion and frustration. CHW informed me approximately 20 hours after claim submission, that I would have to seek out a local tech caused no CHW recommended local tech had picked up the assignment. I was able to find a local tech also with successful resolution within 2 hours. The authorization /reimbursement form contained a user-prompt for WORK ORDER # with no explanation that WORK ORDER # and CLAIM # were the same. The tech was paid for services rendered and had left my residence by the time CHW customer service was contacted and explained the correct input for the WORK ORDER# field. The authorization web link and supplementary information forwarded to local tech. Based on CHW marketing, I assumed local tech assignment was not an issue; however ,In the end, I did get my issue resolved. I’m just hoping mitigating circumstances will allow my reimbursement to be approved.

For this being my first experience with you I am rather disappointed with both you and the company sent to correct my problem. I was told by the first plumber who came to look at the problem (5/17/20) that his company would have to get approval to do the job and I would hear from Choice Home if the approval was granted. I did not hear from either you or the plumber until Wednesday, 5/19/20, that a plumber would be at my home the next day, 5/20/20) between 7-11 am. The plumber didn't show up until well after 11 am but he did have an excuse. It seems he got his fingers caught in his car door and broke one of those fingers. But after looking at what needed to be done he said he was given the wrong repair information and what needed to be replaced he did not have with him so he had to go to Lowe's on Brook Rd. to get what was needed to do the repair which took another 20-25 minutes. Granted once he got back and worked on the repair it only took about 10 minutes but I had to wait Monday thru today almost 12:30 pm to get this repair job done. Thank heavens I didn't have a flood to worry about.

They are responsible. When I call for a service with in 24 hours I get a confirmation. Letting me know who is coming date and time plus phone number. There are a lot of things not covered in the plan, than what is covered. Kudos to Tony that I spoke with today outstanding. With everything that is going on the Covid 19 and money being tight was very reassuring.. than is covered.

My original experience with Choice Home Warranty was not a good one as my air conditioner when out when the temperature was in the 90's and I had not received a response from them or their repair company in what I consider a reasonable amount of time. I called CHW and was told it could take 24 hours or longer to be contacted to schedule and appointment. I explained about the temperature and that we are very senior citizens and my wife could not take the heat. After some conversation I was told I could use my own AC company, which I did and within a short time my AC was fixed but the bill was $306.10. Choice Home Warranty then said because I did not wait long enough and used my own repair service they would only pay $90.00 of the bill. Because of this I was not real happy with CHW and did not expect much from them when my garage door opener went out. Much to my surprise I received an e-mail within a very short time telling me that an appointment had been scheduled for Friday the 15th of May 2020. I subsequently received a call from the repair technician (Isa) on the 14th asking if he could come today vice Friday. I agreed and he showed up on time. He was polite and wasted no time attempting to repair my Genie garage door opener but I had to leave for a doctor's appointment before his work was completed. When I returned home I discovered that he could not repair my garage door opener and replaced it with a Chamberlain brand opener that did not come with an outside keypad to open and close the garage door as did my Genie opener. I called the technician who once again was very polite but informed me CHW would not pay for a replacement model that came with an outside keypad because it was more expensive than the one he installed. Isa subsequently told me that he would contact CHW to see if they would grant an exception to cover the expense but if not it would cost me $45.00 to buy a keypad since mine would not work with the Chamberlain. He did not mention whether or not I would have to pay another service fee of $60.00. I am very happy with Isa and his services but not so much with CHW and as of today (5-17-20) I have not heard from Isa or CHW about this issue.

I would have given you a 5 Star had it not been for the fact that the first two appliance repair people you scheduled to fix our dryer never showed up--never called--nothing. Do you vet these people? The third appliance repair company, however, was outstanding, i.e., Jas Appliance Repair. The owner had his teenage son with him who is learning the business. They called the morning of to confirm and showed up on time. Extremely courteous and thorough. He even vacuumed the inside of the dryer compartment, which had never been cleaned (an older dryer). He didn't need to do this, but he offered to do it anyway. I can't recommend him high enough. You need more repair people of this caliber and don't use the first two that were supposed to repair our appliance.

I am still a pretty new customer, but so far I haven' had the best experience. I have filed one claim and received an email that my A/C was a preexisting issue (meaning that it was broken before I got the warranty), which is untrue. Also, shortly after I joined, I got a call from Frontline Security who has partnered with Choice Warranty. They said they would give me two months free on my warranty if I tried their product. So, I did and it wasn't for me. I still haven't gotten my money back after I sent the equipment back, and I still got billed by Choice. So, needless to say, things have not gotten off to a great start, but hopefully things improve.

I just signed up with Choice Home Warranty so I have not used the service yet but what I don't like is the constant phone calls. I was gonna sign up but before I did I must have gotten at least 20 phone calls from you. After I signed up I got four more and every time someone was trying to sell me an alarm system or the warranty itself so it was very annoying. I didn't like how the person I spoke to when I was singing up kept saying let me talk to my manager and see what I can do. I felt like I was buying a car and dealing with a high pressure salesman. I hope your service is better than your sales people.
