My A/C went out and I was given the reimbursement option to have it looked at quickly. I called the company that does my routine maintenance and it was fixed by noon the next day. Reimbursement option was quick and settled right then. Now, I just have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail soon.

I like the fact that I can file a claim 24/7 and get a timely response, including the name, appointment time, and contact information for the service person coming out. The service call cost is pre-set, and when they can't fix it, they replace it exactly as promised.

The original plumbers that were to come to my home had a 5 hour window: I waited for 5 hours-they never showed up and did not call. How were they chosen? When I called CHW to advise them they were very attentive and got me an exceptional repair crew who were very professional, and knew their stuff. I gave 4 stars because the original crew should have been vetted better.

I'm so impressed with how no long time to get response . I applied immediately. Rates are great & customer service s are excellent. Other companies , just to apply had wait time of 1hour or more using their 24hr emergency #. Good thing I had no emergency! Chose you guys after doing research. Great job folks!!!!!

My experience was ok. I didn't get my appliance repaired completely because it was said that the previous contractor made a blunder and they refused to fix my appliance. The contractor was fine except that he opened a part of my wall and did not leave it the way he found it. Since he didn't repair my shower at least he could have put my sheet rock wall back like he found it. I pray my future dealings will be better. Thank you and may God bless you.

My dishwasher was recently checked out and found to be too expensive to repair with an electrical problem. I was offered $178.00 to replace it. The very least costly Whirlpool dishwasher, with none of the special features as mine Is over $500. On sale. I seem to have no option but to accept the amount offered by Choice Home. This is our first claim.

I have already filled out one of these reviews and sent it to you. I don't know how much more I can say. The technician was very helpful and friendly. He ran some tests and found the circuit breakers needed to be replaced. He replaced them.

The repair was too costly , so they decided to replace the over the counter microwave. They covered most of the cost , but not the installation ( which is outlined in the agreement, so no foul there). Our case manager, Cheryl H, was delightful to work with.

The technician came earlier than expected and was polite. He fixed my clogged sink in my bathroom and showed me what clogged it up and offered pointers to avoid clogs. The thing I liked most was he cleaned up behind his ,something your plummers usually dont do.

I can't speak to the overall rating of our Choice Home Warranty since we just purchased & haven't used the service yet. In terms of the warranty itself, the price seemed in line w/ other quotes in the area for the same range of repair/replacement coverage. We are happy about the peace of mind your home warranty offers should we ever need a repair or replacement. With regard to the sales call, Gary called us very promptly once I submitted online information. Gary was professional, knowledgeable & personable. On one hand, we appreciated the extended offers for longer terms w/ discounted rates. On the other hand it seemed a bit predatory once we declined & stated our comfort level was trying you out for the 1st term before tying up funds on an extended service agreement before we even had occasion to use your service. The continued offers felt akin to car sales, or time shares. All in all I would definitely give Gary an "A" for effort! We were just not prepared to spend additional funds in these volatile times, even though we recognize we were being offered long range cost savings.

Our A/C went out during 116 degree temps outside, on a Friday night. We had a technician come out at 7 AM Sunday morning, who fixed it immediately. At this time of year, getting someone to fix A/C without waiting days, isn't easy.

Customer service representatives have also been very helpful. To date I have not experienced any problems with Choice Home Warranty.

I've been very please with the services from CHW. Recently i had an issue with a washing machine, that the team determined was more cost effective to be replaced. While I have not yet received the check, the process was easy as they assigned a rep to handle the issue. Other times when I've required service, either plumbing or appliance repair, they were able to get a tech here within 2 days. The online process for a claim is fairly simple and they follow up with both an email and voicemail on who the tech is and when the appt is scheduled. So far so good.

So far it has been great. Called late Monday afternoon with an A/C problem. Said a tech would contact me within 24 hrs. He called in the early evening said he would be here between 9 and 11 AM. He showed at 9:15AM. Now just waiting for Choice approval. So far very satisified. Bill Tigue

I was concerned when my Dacor oven stopped working and Choice couldn’t immediately locate a technician I was pleased they authorized me to find a certified Dacor tech who came to my house and repaired my oven on a Friday evening. Reimbursement process seems simple - waiting for my my check. But super pleased with the speed and efficiency.

My garbage disposal stopped working so. I called Choice Warranty and they were out the next day. They put a new one in and we’re gone in about an hour. They are very friendly and don’t question the problem, just fix it! Look no more for homeowner’s insurance. Choice Warranty is the one you need and want!!

They were able to send professional technicians out to service my home in the past and those technicians were able to correct the things that needed to be corrected. Right now, my experience is very mixed as the pool situation has been going on for over a month and is still not repaired. The last service provider that came out was very good and is waiting for authorization from Choice to do the repairs. Yesterday, I received an update from Choice that made no sense at all. It stated that 1) Choice would be paying only $150 for the repairs. 2) I would be out of pocket $270 for the repairs as they were "over the limit" for the equipment. 3) the repairs were completed when they haven't even started. All of this is not inclusive of the three repairs I initiated and completed myself because Choice couldn't get a qualified service provider to repair the equipment in a timely manner. This is on top of another experience with Choice where they said it was less expensive to replace an over the stove microwave vs. repairing it and paid me $250 to get a new (inferior) microwave but, would not cover any of the additional costs for fitting or installing the microwave. This resulted in an additional $700 out of pocket in order to get something comparable to what I had. At this point in time, I am beginning to wonder why I am paying them as they are not doing what I believe should be done.

The first company CHW assigned my claim to on 8/1/20 went out of business on 7/19 and did not even repair A/C systems. This I discovered after 4 days with no A/C, very little sleep, and the temperatures were in the 90's and not getting any reply to my numerous messages with the "company" to do the work I looked the "company" up on line. After calling CHW and talking to a supervisor and explaining the entire situation the supervisor reassigned my claim to a new company Platinum Heating and Air, their tech was out the next day and had my system up and cooling in no time. Thanks to PHA for their prompt and courteous service as I am a senior citizen, veteran, and disabled no A/C in 90+ weather is very dangerous. Again cudos to Cody from PHA. I would like to suggest that CHW vet their service companys better.

When I called in to schedule a repair, I was treated with respect. I was also told I would only have to pay one fee for both my dishwasher and dryer that needed repairs. They listened to my concerns and repeated what was going on with my appliances.

Since we purchased our warranty with Choice, we have used it a few times and not once, have we had any issues. We liked it so much we bought a 5-year plan. I can call and with an hour have an appointment for someone to come to my house. I will keep Choice as my home warranty.

The customer service representative listened patiently to my explanation of the problem I was having with my heating/cooling system. I was provided with a claim number and told someone would respond within 24 hrs of my claim being made. Due to the health condition of my nephew who stays with me, my A/C being out was a serious situation. CHW responded like it was serious to them also. Thanks.

I have been doing business with this company for a long time. Once you place a claim, a company will usually call you the same day or the next to setup an appointment. They are very efficient in fixing the appliance or with a payout to replace the appliance.

Just signed up and don't have much experience yet but heard good things. I had a small problem with a representative (Gabriel G), I spoke with him briefly about signing up with Choice and agreed to finalize the next day because he isn't in the office. He stated that he will email me his contact information (direct line) for me to call during my break time at work but that is not the case I wasn't able to speak with him the next day and they patch me to his line and left a message but never heard from him. Finally I signed up with another representative.

The warranty pays for itself, the service is great, and it is a relief to know that it is a warranty company that stands behind it's promise. We already have a friend that signed up with Choice.

It took 2 weeks to get the service man to our home. He seemed knowledgeable about the washer. The washer was too expensive to repair the serviceman explained. The financial amount offered I rejected because (the offer was $299 on our $900 + tax washer). I had to jump through hoops (wasting time ) to speak to your representative. Finally Choice gave me $200 more. I still will be required to pay out another $500. I originally signed a contract with Choice for several years of service ($1700) and have about 2 years left. I'm not sure if I will resign a new contract with Choice or move on to another company. When I bought the contract the salesman said that Choice is always very fair! I know my comments aren't what you want to read but they are the truth. Bob Benzing

I love having Choice Home Warranty.I have used it twice in the past two months and both times the companies they sent were excellant. The gentleman who came found the problem one with my water heater and the other my dryer.They repaired both and saved me from having to buy new ones.Having this warranty is one of the best things I ever did.

Repair request for a our garage door opener was made on Fri., July 17, and we had a technician out the following Mon. He arrived as scheduled and determined that the opener could not be repaired, so a new unit will be installed today, July 21. Could not ask for better service or response. WE are extremely pleased.
