CHW responds quickly to submitted claims. I am pleased with how promptly a service technician was scheduled. My only disappointment is how long it takes to get compensation when they have determined an appliance is not repairable. It takes 30 days to receive the Lowe's e-card or to get a check sent. In this day and age, I do not understand why it would take so long.

I was impressed. It took only two days to repair the problem, after being advised that a repair service would be calling me to set up an appointment, a technician arrived, check the problem with my a/c and explained what the problem was then promptly fixed it. Fortunately an easy fix and I am back up and running. Many thanks.

Choice Home Warranty offers 5 stars, world class customer service. Every customer service representative follows their standard operating procedures to the letter. However, some of their standard operating procedures are NOT customer friendly and desperately need to be changed. It is sad that the customer service representatives are forced to tell customers, "I am sorry, I cannot give you that information. But thank you being a valued customer of CHW."

We have had two issues recently that needed repair. The technicians that Choice sent to repair our A/C and refrigerator were excellent. They quickly assessed the problem and completed repairs with efficiency, courtesy, and care for our needs.

The scheduled appointed was between 11 am and 3am, which according to Choice contract was 48 hours after initial call. The repair man arrived at approximately 5pm, after 3 calls to the company. The plumbing company never called during the day saying our repair man was running late. The repairs were done, however payment of $85.00 was required prior to work, which I fully understand. When I gave the Tech the credit card he called it in, and he said his boss required a 3.5% service fee to cover the cost of the card. I said I would not pay and I will cancel Choice. Finally the plumbing company did the work for $85.00.

It took 3 tries but finally got a tech to come out and find problems. The first two never called and the first was rude and and unprofessional. Would not recommend him at all. The man who did come was very professional and I would definitely use him again.

I would give them a 5 star review bit I had an issue with a claim where I had an issue with my oven and they wanted to only pay $300 to replace it off their recommendations, I filed for a dispute since there aren't any ovens that cost $300, at the time noone ever reached out to me and when I reached out to the claim officer I had to make an appointment in which then I was told either take that amount or file a new claim since it was over 30 days. I was very disappointed about that.

The contractor called to provide his estimated time of arrival. He knew I had another appointment that was time sensitive. He so respectful when he arrived. He had his mask on and removed his shoes. He did a GREAT job!!!!

I had a different warranty company when I moved here and the first problem I experienced, the company informed me that the item was not covered. One of the people I work with recommended CHW and I have been pleased with the service. I highly recommend CHW!!!

Although our initial appointment for this situation had to be rescheduled, the plumber did call and apologize. When he did arrive, he went right to work and fixed the issue. We had a very nice talk afterwards and he answered lots of our questions as we are new to the area. Would highly recommend!

The service from Choice is much faster than my previous warranty company, and the technician sent was highly qualified and skilled (unlike some sent by the previous company. They actually came late Saturday afternoon when it was originally scheduled for Sunday.

I could not give Choice Home Warranty a 5 rating because of past experience. Today the representative I talked to (Victoria) was very respectful and friendly. She took my information and sent me the incident # because it was taking so long to come up on her system. She emailed it immediately.. I received the email for an appointment on Saturday between 11:00 -3:00. Hoping they will fix it on first visit.

Th claim process was very simple and easy. Had an issue with our refrigerator (Ice maker not working and temperatures inside are not stable). Raised a ticket through the portal and the date was scheduled. Technicians showed up and did all their work and explained me everything that was going on and submitted it to CHW for their review and approval. CHW mentioned it's better to go for a replacement rather than fixing the issues and offered me the replacement amount. I do understand all their process and the way they do it, but it sounds ridiculous that they provide very less amount as a replacement amount where as the rates of new refrigerators are so high in the market. Well there was a option to raise a concern and get assigned your case to a case manager and take it up to them which I did. But mostly they have determined the amount so there is not going to be any change in it and that's what happened. The amount that is offered for a new refrigerator is $980. I do not feel it's ok for such a less amount. Earlier last year (2021) our AC fan in attic broke for which we had technician came in through home warranty service and they reported that the fan broke and CHW rejected to pay even a single penny for it and the reason mentioned was it's due to the wrong placement of the unit (like not correctly placed) or some big particles that hit the fan and it broke a wing of it. We do not enter the attic at all and that fan and that fan came with the house when we bought it. So I don't know what explanation is that. These are the reason why I gave them 3 rating.

Check out my microwave but he informed me of a part to be order and when the part come that Choice will call me so they can schedule a time and date to return back to complete the job of get my microwave up and running.

I called Choice at 11:15pm and they were there for me almost immediately. The person I spoke to was very patient with helping me figure out what ruptured, the pipe or the dishwasher itself. He filed a claim for plumbing. I am very appreciative for Choice's ability to handle this so well.

The service and the rep were very nice. My only complaint is that it was creepy how quickly you called after I submitted my number. Less than a split second later, the rep called. That was very creepy and I did tell the rep. He was able to overcome that and got through my objection of how creepy and desperate that was. It was not his fault at all, so I listened to him.

I just now enrolled with your service. I felt the phone rep was pressuring me to SIGN UP NOW, and discouraging me from checking your company and others out first. But I went ahead and signed up anyway, since there is a 30 day approval period. Have since found out from This Old House, that they feel your company offers the best service at a reasonable price. I also discovered I could have received a discount on your price if I'd asked the right questions.

Quick response on obtaining a repairman for us. The repairman responded promptly and after getting the needed part was quick to come back to finish the job. There was still a problem which had nothing to do with the dishwasher, but he then suggested what the problem may be and he was correct. He even called back to make sure everything was ok.

I have only used my warranty twice in 3 years and one time was awful bc of the company they sent to fix my hvac system said they was bad about not paying and wanted me to pay upfront and I told him no. Then he told them my system was compromised and they wanted to void my warranty but after arguing with them they gave me my warranty back. Then had to speak to a manager to pay 150 bucks to put Freon in my system.

Larry's Appliances came on a Sunday Valentine's Day to try and repair my washer. My appointment was not until the 17th. I had asked if he could come earlier. I just signed up in March 2020. I had a heating issue and called customer service. It took a few minutes to go through the information needed for a service call. Once it was completed the I received a confirmation email scheduling the work. Within an hour I received a call from the service provider. They showed up in four hours and resolved the problem. So far so good !!

I have been with Choice for the past three years but have been very fortunate not to have used it very often. I called on a Monday morning, the 8th of Feb to place a claim but was informed that my contract had expired on Sunday, the 7th. I got a great Customer service Rep on the phone that help me renew my contract, and I was able to file my claim right away. Hopefully, I get a great plumbing Technician to determine where my water leak is coming from!!!!! Thank You for good customer service!!!!!

What do I like best? Your lower rates, you cover my whole septic system, even though it takes forever to get someone to take the orders from you, I've gotten some pretty awesome people, when they had time to show up. I'm not exactly sure how you get your technicians, if I had to hazard a guess it would be an individual trying to start their own business in the field they specialize in, and they didn't have a job so they picked up one of your orders. I have waited for as long as a month to get a tech. That is not a good business practice and I would think someone could think of someway to inspire individuals to pick up your claims.

One big issue I have with Choice Home Warranty is that you do not allow your contractors to replace with like items. I just had to have one of my garage door openers replaced. I have two and they are belt driven Craftsman's 1/2 HP. When the contractor told me that Choice would not let them replace it with a Craftsmen because it would be an upgrade. I called Choice and they told me there was nothing they could do, they only allow standard replacements. They did say I could pay the difference which would have been 125.00. This is totally unacceptable. What is my 66.00 a month paying for?

Easy to file claim & great communication from Choice and then to the specific company! The service member came out the next day and was able to resolve the issue quickly. The service Technician that came out was great. The biggest problem is you did not pay enough to replace my Microwave equivalent to what I had. I shopped around the the cheapest I could find cost me $250. You state you would allow $191.00. This is not right. Paying the $45.00 service call plus I had to pay to have it installed so I feel as though you really did not allow me anything. I tried to talk with my case manager with little excess and she would not let me speak to anyone else say thing they would say the same thing. Anyway, I got a new one at a cost of $250. LG 1764 ST.

Over the years I have had choice, there service has continued to improve. I have had three recent claims and they have all been handled very well. From the customer service, to the claims manager in one case, to the technician that made the repair. All have done a great job. Warranty companies often have poor feedback, Choice is NOT one of those bad companies. They have been stepping up their came and are a good company to work with.

I like that they cover everything I could possibly need fixed or new. I cannot afford the current prices to have someone come out and living in a manufactured home also makes it harder to find people who will even service us. I didn't like the seemingly preprogrammed sales pitch. They should sound more natural, not like they are reading a script. Reminded me of the old used car sales pitches.

I was assigned an account specialist after my service payment was denied. I spoke with her and she gave me a way that she would approve payment. I acted on her advice and Choice sent another repairman. His repair order was once again denied and I was told to speak with a specialist, who happened to be the same person I negotiated with the first time. Once again I faced the vicious cycle of contacting the specialist before my repair would be authorized. I have contacted her via voicemail and e-mail, so once again I am waiting for her reply. It is obvious Choice Home does not read the notes from the history very well. So now, I am waiting for the specialist to reply to my voicemail and e-mail.

Although it took awhile to receive the call back due to covid. They still were able to come within 48 hours. The service was amazing and the contractor that came out was so nice. Very safe with masks on, gloves and social distancing present. Would recommend !

My air conditioning unit was leaking water and I put a work order in that night around 6pm. The next morning I checked my email and I had an appointment scheduled for 3pm-8pm. The Kenan Corporation was at my house that evening. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and covid compliant. He repaired the issue and I would be happy to have him back
