I called Choice Home Warranty because my freezer section in my refrigerator wasn't working. Within 48 hours, a very knowledgeable technician was able to diagnose and fix the problem. We were very happy! My only complaint is that I was told that I would receive a call to schedule the appointment, and I happened to see the email with the appt info, I never received a phone call.

We've used American Home Warranty and Select Home Warranty in the past, and this is by far the best experience.

Like CHW have 3 year contract . When I needed service I call made a claim and the same day they setup an appointment and phone number of place they were sending. If not convenient then called a made appointment that was suited fr me.

I had the opportunity to use my program recently it was a great experience. The contractor was timely, polite, did an excellent job in resolving my problem. My only complaint was not about the contractor but in regards to my policy. When I registered my issue I found out that my service call dollar amount had been raised and was not communicated to me

I just signed up so only have that experience. I called your 888 number and talked with Jason L. He's quite the salesman. I purchased the 5 year plan for seniors. Hopefully, Choice will be a better experience than Fidelity.

Choice Home Warranty has responded immediately to my service requests over the past two years - one was for a A/C fan issue and the other was that the ice maker in our fridge quit working. The service companies CHW sent also responded quickly and their service was to the point and totally professional.

I'm a new customer to Choice I has my first experience with the service on July 2nd. My contract activated on June 24th. Call was placed for service on June 25th. Contractor was assigned and came as scheduled on July 2nd. My disappointment was being denied service due to newness of contract..while this service has a #1 rating I'm not a Happy Camper at this writing. We'll see how things progress going forward.

Service was requested on a Wednesday morning and scheduled for Friday. It was then canceled and rescheduled for the following Tuesday. After calling and pleading they came out Saturday morning. The motor was replaced but the rollers needed to be replaced and were not covered. This is my first experience with a warranty and I am wondering if every time I call is there going to be a part not covered. Why weren’t the rollers covered if they were worn out?

It was not easy to put in a claim on line the computer had me stuck in a loop until I gave it a false response about the problem. Then they wanted me to find my own repairman. They finely found a repairman and he was very good. Once they decided to replace my dryer they sent me an email with a price they were going to give us to replace the dryer. In a Lowes e-gift card. I excepted the price which barely made a down payment on a dryer then Choice Home Warranty sends a email that says thanks for taking their claim offer and they will email it to us in thirty days!!! So much for doing laundry at home.

Awesome HOW company. Encountered a sizeable pool equipment problem only 2 weeks into being a new Choice customer. Technical folks reviewed the estimate and pics of the failed system and approved the $800 + repair cost in less that 10 minutes. Very evident that Choice is highly focused on delivering a supurb product. So glad we made the switch.

There have been a couple of things that sadly weren’t covered by my warranty. However the microwave is in the process of being fixed. The workman was prompt, kept me informed of his arrival time, and was very professional. I have received the parts he ordered, and he scheduled a return date, pending. I was very happy with him. I gave 4 star for the issue is solved, but the experience was not good. I had AC issue for 3 weeks and finally it is fixed. It was assigned to one technician and he said there is leakage and need to get approval to check it up. He never came back and returned my calls. Thankfully, CHW assigned another technician after I called three times in the third week and second technician identified the problem and had it fixed.

I put a claim in on Saturday June 26th, by Sunday night had the repair Company and number . Monday morning they were here ahead of schedule which in these days is almost unheard of. Took about 30 minutes fixed and they were gone with cold air blowing. We still can not believe they came that fast here in Texas.

I have found the process--once it's turned over to the technician--to be everything I could hope. The technician, in this case, but also in previous are helpful, communicative and eager to serve. Completing the original claim and talking with the Choice phone representative was less satisfying--I definitely had to "wade through" the attitude of "this is the way we do it, ma'am" in order to get my claim processed.

I have been trying to get my payback since March I have septic coverage that is serviced through a county approved contractor. I reported the septic problem and filled out the paper work about the company my contract is with. They stated it was not approved but it was for $798. and they even talked to the contractors owner. Now they promised at least $500 but no money was refunded to my credit card. So I called numberious times and now they say they'll send me $470. No money yet. Not fair. I also have a garage door opener problem . It's been acting up since January 2021 they've sent out numerous companies and I've paid my $65. Each of the times. Parts replaced but never fixed. Door came down on my dog . Vet visit for dog!I don't feel I should have to pay $65. So many times. It should have been covered after the first $65.

Claim process is easy. What I least like are some of the companies you work with...the last heating and preconditions company was supposed to be here friday,June 11, and they never showed up or called to cancel. I think you should screen companies thoroughly.

My wife did not like no human contact with only email communication it makes people feel left hanging… you should consider text communication so people don’t feel driven to watch their email… How ever the service was prompt communicative - cognitive - friendly - hard working in hot condition. The company should not up sell by communication they hound up sell with promotional sheet…. Showing option with Cost of upgrade printer otherwise when the tech up sells you feel like you could be taken advantage of … example I negotiate fir a living and am aware of cost of product - but what about older person or women/man retired or elderly or young couple not aware of cost they immediately go on defense.

So far I am pleased with the ease of reporting the claim. The agents have been cordial to talk with. Once the claim is advertised seems to be where the problems start. I takes a long time to get a tech company to respond to my problem. You send me a notice that I can get my own tech but there are all kinds of problems there. First it is hard to find a company that will mess with a warranty company like yourselves. If I do find one you won’t pay any labor. It’s just not a good situation. Seems like you need to develop a better reputation with these companies.

Although the experience was seamless, I was slightly disappointed in the final outcome. Our washing machine needs to be replaced. We paid about $1,000 originally since it was a larger drum high efficiency washer, but the original replacement amount Choice was going to provide was only $346. I had to fight to get more money for the replacement. We finally agreed to $476. That still isn't enough, but grateful to get what we received.

Happened really fast if anything I would say just let the customer know they will be getting call so quickly. Love the urgency just questioned the authenticity of the call. It went smooth, but fast. The technician was very friendly and presentable. He was able to determine that our washer was repairable but the parts needed to be ordered. Advised that I would be getting an email on when the parts would be available and another appointment is scheduled for next Thursday. I’m ok with that because my washer is semi working.

Choice seems like a decent company. Worst experience so far is the amount of calls they give to you when you are inquiring about plans. I couldn't pay that call and everyday for two weeks, I received a call from some sales rep. Finally when I had the time to do the purchase, I received 100 off the annual price, free month and 20 off of the service call fee. Way better than the offer when I first called. Choice took care to make a competitive offer that I couldn't refuse. Otherwise, the annoying calls would have lost my service. We will see how their service calls work in the future.

I decided to wait until they found someone. The tech came out, I paid my service fee and he fixed my pool problem in about an hour. It's fine now . thank You Choice

Mr. Lee checked in with us daily, to let us know a part was ordered, when he expected the part to be delivered, and then to let us know it had arrived. He was very pleasant, and explained everything so we could understand what he was doing. He is an asset to CHW.

Responsive service call (two days). Firm that came out was very professional and capable (Reliable Garage Door Service). Turns out that no parts needed to be replaced at this time, but he pointed out a component that was nearing failure and would probably require service in the future. Adjusted a number of components and ensured proper operation before leaving the property.

I honestly really love Choice Home Warranty in most cases, but with my last 2 claims I have had costumer service reps give me wrong information that almost landed me holding the bill. Coverage is awesome, and when it has gone right there is no better especially compared to the previous home warranty companies I've had, but the the costumer service reps have told me wrong information more than once, 3 times actually. I still recommend them Choice over the other companies, but watch what costumer service tells you.

I got a very fast and good response when I called with a microwave problem. A claim number was allocated within minutes (about 45 minutes ago) and I am now awaiting a call from an approved technician to come, critique and resolve the problem
