Customer service agents were very good and were very understanding of my needs The oven thermostat had gone wacky I burned 4 loafs of hand kneaded French bread. The appliance repair man called me about an hour or so later, to schedule the repair for tomorrow morning. Maybe then I'll bake more bread. Thanks customer service ladies for your help.

Initally, we had not had a great experience. We decided to give CHOICE another chance before cancelling, and we're glad we did. Our heater was broken, and once we received the information for the contractor (who was local this time), we were able to schedule an appointment sooner, and he was able to get our heater working for the charge of the service call. It saved us a lot of money and the contractor was wonderful!

The technician arrived on time and was very business like, a pleasure to have in my home. He checked the systems out and when all proved out proceeded to defrost the internals of the fridge. the whole process took about two hours including cleanup. Very satisfied.

The best thing is quickest service request and the worst thing is delay in service. I have to wait till the parts can be delivered and then call the technicians and wait till they can come and fix the problem. The process is too long. I wish they had carried parts with them so they could fix in the first visit,

I am extremely happy with Choice Home Warranty. A Technician was at my home on Dec 16th, 2021 to fix our heater. He was very nice and explained to me what was wrong with the heater and he replaced the part. CHW response’s quick to a new claim, and they keep you updated on the appointment.

My experience with CHW has been wonderful. This particular request was for the pool heater. My Tech, Dennis was polite and informative. He fixed part of the problem and has to get approval for the remainder of the repair from CHW. I have no doubt it will be a repaired as needed.

Choice Home Warranty had a plan for home owners that covers many,many items that can fail in the average home. Can be very beneficial for most items that fail but not very thing that fails. Read the fine print for the product plan your are considering b4 you pay. Ive used Choice for more 2 years. Its covered the repair or replacement of many items in my home. But is hasn’t covered everything thats failed. So consider your plan carefully based on the items covered and the Choice plan offered. Its good but not perfect

I did my claim online to save time. I needed a plumber to fix the stoppage in my kitchen sink AND fix the slow drain in my bathroom. Your online claim form doesn't allow you to pick more than 1 problem so I picked the main one (kitchen). Then when the service company called, I told them about both. BUT when the technician came, he said that because the work order only said kitchen stoppage, that's all he could do or Choice wouldn't pay them. So now I have to take off MORE time and pay ANOTHER fee for another service call. Which is ridiculous. When I was with AHS, I could indicate several problems on one claim, so that the technician could do all of them at once. VERY disappointed.

My initial calls were hideous. I made three calls and had to threaten to cancel before getting a manager that cd answer my question. The manager was extremely appalled at the lack of service and took action to rectify the matter. Too bad I didn’t get to him first. He did, however, give me his direct line so I can call him first shd the need arise in the future.

The repairman who came out was professional and knowledgeable. He got repair done. Problem is that we had to wait 4 days, in 100 degree temps, before he could get there. Meanwhile, my son, with no warranty, had exact same problem at his house. He called repairman from a local listing and got his AC fixed same day. His repair only cost $90 more than mine did, but he didn’t have to pay the annual premium, so, much cheaper. Choice needs more contractors to get the work done timely. I’m in my 60’s and my parents live with us, they’re in their 80’s. A broken AC in Oklahoma summer is an emergency. Our homes are not built to be 93 degrees inside. Repairs should be timely, or the warranty is no good.

I like best that they are usually right on it trying to repair your problem by sending a technician out, even though it was 1.5 weeks later on my washer. We've been having to use an expensive laundry mat in place of our washer. I dislike that the replacement was not a true replacement, a downgraded model that barely makes the cut. We had a high end front loader washer that went out and they will only reimburse us for the amount of a top loader that is some-what comparable by cubic-feet, supposedly features, etc. They offered us gift cards to an expensive store that we could get the cheapest model and still pay out of pocket on it, so instead we took a check for a lesser amount(than the gift cards) so we can go buy another front loader at a cheaper store. We will take the check and have to add about double cash to it so we can get a front loader again to match our dryer front loader.

I found it very easy to schedule repair service for my dryer. The request for service was done via email. I was able to obtain a service provider the next day. I made the request at 11:00 pm on a Saturday evening. By Sunday afternoon I received a email indicating who the service provider was and what day and time the provider was arriving. I called the service provider to try and obtain an approximate time he would be arriving because I needed to do other chores. Everything worked out well. The service provider was knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty.

I liked the prompt responses but had some issues with the details of the claim. You have to understand the technician was not a network member so they knew they were getting paid from me, so the details of the receipt were vague. I think you as a company has to understand that and make it easy for the homeowner, otherwise your company did a nice job with the process.

However with that said, the gentleman, Justin that I spoke with was very kind and pleasant. Was not pushy and did explain everything in detail. I was impressed with his professionalism. Original company assigned to this claim should be removed from your list. First they were a no show,no call on date I was given. I called CHW and they checked on a number to contact company, not available, so reassigned. The following day the original company called me. I advised since no show it was canceled & reassigned. He was very rude and said he was never to show yesterday, no contact to me was made, I advised that he was scheduled with a time frame for yesterday. He was rude and told to go ahead and get someone else I would have not let him in my home, he made be very uncomfortable.

Most of the time it's great. Ive needed them several times in the past 2 years and been satisfied. But once I had a clogged toilet. No plumbers were available on their list. The person on the phone told me to work along with them & try to find my own. I did, plumbers came and (after I paid), they refused to pay me back, stating the charge was not customary. It was beyond their allowance. They denied telling me to get my own.

The initial response to my claim was immediate. I expected to have to wait several days but I got a response the same day. They assigned a company to evaluate the problem and it was solved within a week. Parts had to be ordered and that delayed the repair for a few days. So far I have been very pleased with Choice.

Awesome! Choice home Waranty has responded to 4 calls, electrical system issue, pool pump, Ac issue and pool equipment…turn around time is around 1 week, all issues were resolved on the first appointment and the deductible is very low $65. They are always polite and professional and send out top notch professionals.

This is the first time having service and the Tech was presentable, would be better if with the knowledge they have came prepared with parts and it would make it easier if there was an app that would request you appliance mark & model and serial number to make it faster for simple fixes. Would be convenient as well if they gave you a receipt when paying cash.

Not sure about CHW yet. They denied my first claim. We'll see how it all turns out, but now 5 days with no heat! UPDATE! Since I posted the first review, CHW is still denying my claim based on a false report from the technician whom they claim stated I had disassembled the furnace before the tech arrived. I did open the outside cover to see if the burners were firing. Since I knew CHW was sending out a tech, and the AC drain tube made putting the cover back way too difficult, I left the cover open. I an a disabled senior adult who cannot disassemble a furnace. I received a call today from my case manager who spouted the company line of "deny, deny, deny until you tire out the client," but I'm not giving up. She referred me to someone else who was to call me in an hour. It's been 5 hrs and no response. 7 days with no heat!
