We turned in a claim and got a repair person scheduled the next day. Unfortunately that repair person did not show up. We let Choice know and they quickly got someone else scheduled. The team that come out was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The problem was resolved.

I do not feel valued as a customer, nor do I feel comfortable with the most recent claim that I filed for plumbing service. I would like to refrain from having Veterans Plumbing Company referred to me and to please remove this entity to do service at my home in the near future. The second trip to install my downstairs toilet was done. Neither Ian or Steve checked the upstairs toilet and told me they were here at my residence just to do the approved work. For the first visit, Steve told me that I was approved for one toilet and it is the one on the first level. Steve also said if Choice Home Warranty won't approve the upstairs toilet, he could come back and install the toilet himself. I prefer not to have anyone from the plumbing company back on my property due to undermining me the very first visit. I also regret to inform you that I was not fond as to how Steve complained about where my bathroom was located. I explained on the first visit that I have encountered mold, I have a crack in the tank of the upstairs toilet, I had an overflow upstairs which ruined my ceiling downstairs and had to pay a gentleman to repair my kitchen ceiling and wall. I also showed my living room ceiling where water damage occurred, but Steve ignored what I said. I do not know how much longer I will be able to afford the rising costs of a home warranty to be honest. I am cognitive of the fact that I do not trust the above mentioned company nor do I appreciate negative comments. Thank you

I am an existing user of Choice warranty. No questions asked when you place a claim request. All you have to do his login and submit your claim by explaining the problem and issue category. It will be assigned to local area technicians and someone will respond. All updates are communicated through portal and email.

The individual I spoke with at customer service was very friendly and helpful. The technician that came to our house was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that one of the claims was denied and we did not receive a phone call only an email. A phone call would have let us know a lot earlier that we needed to look at other options.

I have had some good and bad experiences. My one request is to be notified 30 minutes prior to arrival so that I do not have to wait around all day. 99% of the service technicians have been great but the amount of time they wait for the approval is unbelievable. I have witnessed over 1 hour for approval that they sit and wait and loose money on the service. With parts in hand they could have been out within one hour but those type of delays are ridiculous.

Had plugged kitchen sink drain. Filed claim. Appointment was scheduled 7 days from then. Fiore plumbing is contractor. We were able to get perri in two days. Fiore did call with earlier appointment same day perri was here. Fiore did the right thing.

We love our home but is an older house and from time to time things do break. Home warranty has been there for us in the hot summer months when the ac stop working, or when the oven was not working. They’re quick to respond and having a simple fee for any service makes it affordable to maintain your home.

Overall, I have had good experiences with CHW. It's good to know that when I need something repaired or fixed I can immediately go to CHW. The technicians sent are customer friendly and professional. My only concern is that there needs to be better communication between customer and CHW and the companies they use when a problem arises that changes scheduled appointments.

Quick action to a filed claim. I put in a claim on 08/07/2022 to repair the air conditioning system, which was cooling. An appointment was scheduled on 08/08/2022 between 3pm to 8pm. A technician came after 4pm. He checked the system, and did the necessary repair work. The air conditioning system is cooling again.

You had sent SEars in the past, and he was the absolute worst person in the world... Scheduling MONTHS OUT FOR REPAIR.... then calling on the day he was supposed to come, and canceling. THEN he did it again!!!! after 3 months, I got you to send out someone else and you charged me for another service call...only to find out that it still didn't work. After 5 months the determination was done to chuck it... and you offered me $1081 to replace a unit that was $2700 18 years ago and now $3700. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT IS JUSTICE??? i SURELY DONT'. This time,you sent out the same SEARS employee and he was great. Followed up and called....so far. The job isn't done. AND you have authorized a $500+ repair on a $1000 machine. something isn't Kosher here.? I don't understand the logic. I just hope it gets repaired. We'll see... I'll come back later with an honest evaluation. Everything is breaking this year.... so I'm hoping you don't cut me off at some point, as I have about 3 years left on my contract with you. Do you have a $$ cut off, or am I covered until my 5 years is done??

I called for a broken gas dryer. The tech contacted me the next day and set up an appt. He arrived at the time agreed upon, evaluated the problem, replaced the part and cleaned up after. The whole thing took 20 minutes. I was very pleased with the whole process.

For a routine repair, the system worked well. However, when our 4-year-old dishwasher died, and two repair visits with spare parts could not fix it, CHW "offered" to replace it. Their first offer was a $246 gift card to Lowes, with which I am supposed to buy a new DW myself. The equivalent model is about $500, and installation with parts is another $200. I could not get an appointment for a telecon for 2 weeks to try and negotiate a better replacement deal. By that time, I will have been without a dishwasher for 4 weeks, after which I may be able to get a replacement, either by CHW or with whatever credit they will offer for me to buy a replacement myself. Totally unacceptable!

I wish I never subscribed to your plan, The salesman who sold me the plan said, if not repairable, I would get equivalent replacements. I have made 3 claims, was given 1/3 of equivalent replacements, basing cost on the lowest common denominator, unequivalent, footing the bill myself for the remainder. What a scam you have going on!! The Case workers fight nastily and won't budge in spite of research that show offers are horribly unequivalent.

I spoke with my case manager Brittany H yesterday about "Replacing my Microwave". Replacing is the words not only she used but are the words in the email I received about my microwave. Therefore I was under the assumption that my choices were to have you guys "replace" it or take the money and buy my own. That is why I scheduled to speak with a case manager so I could understand what you were going to "replace" it with. She kept saying we are offering you the money instead of "replacing" it with any model or color that we choose. We determine the "replacement" based on capacity etc. Hence I was still thinking I had a choice of you "replacing" it with whatever you choose or me buying my own with the money you were offering. So I stated to her, "My options are to take the $191 or have you guys replace it? Will the same company replace it?" Brittany stated to me in a condescending tone, "Mama nobody is going to magically show up at your house with a microwave!" As mentioned above the entire time I thought that was an option. I don't understand why the company chooses the words "replace" in their conversations when the company will not be "replacing" it. I will be replacing my microwave. Choice warranty is only offering to give me money to help "me" replace it.

The response was very quickly. Appointment established the same day for a service person to come by the next day.. The service person was prompt and friendly. He tested the room with the power issue and then checked all the brakes. I had checked the brakes the day before, but he found one that was arcing. Replaced the brake and was done within 30 minutes. Very happy with the process and results.
