After paying for many years of coverage I was unfairly denied a significant repair that should have been covered. They denied air conditioning repair claiming neglect but I had bills to show my air conditioners had preventive maintenance twice each year I explained that the company they hired was formed was less than 1 year ago and requested a 2nd technician look at the unit which I offered to pay for.The case manager refused to do anything .I would never recommend Choice.

You guys suck! I will NEVER recommend you to anyone. The service providers you send are a bunch of crooked scammers who write up their reports in a way that puts the blame on the home owner to completely absolve themselves of the repair responsibility, and instead, provide band aide solutions requiring a revisit weeks/months later. Additionally, these crooks offer their services outside of the Choice Home warranty package and up charge for affordable products easily purchased at a Home Depot/Lowes

I've had choice for almost a year now and I've had to do most of every thing I've submitted a claim to and not one reimbursement. And for the time you've had come it days not hours and that's just to long. Your fee's or high and it's just not worth it. My policy is due to expire in February and I will not sign up for another one. You guys service sucks.

The customer service is bad really bad, this company NEVER approves any claim, always looks for ways to find exclusion. there is no way to escalate the issue. Customer service is 100% outsourced internationally, mostly they dont understand what you are speaking and you can understand what you are talking. I had to follow up 20+ times for two of my recent claims, customer service is such a shame..!! Looking to exit Choice Home Warranty

I wish they would listen to the contractors and stop trying to fix or go around or shortcut things and just fix it. That's what we pay for. That's what we want to feel comfortable about. I can't keep doing it. They're take very long for no reason and they'll keep trying to fix items that can't be fixed and they're told that it can't be fixed by the contractor.

Technicians are incompetent. Most claims are denied if it costs more than $100 to fix. One heating company technician actually stole an air handler when installing a new unit that I paid 2700 for to have the whole unit replaced. I didn’t find out about it until I got an electric bill for almost $700 in a month where I was overseas for 2 weeks and barely had the heat on. I reported him to Choice but was afraid to report him to his board for fear of retaliation.

Both times this year Choice has a hard time finding a service provider to take the claim. While if I go outside the Choice process, plenty of service providers are willing to evaluate my issue. This is a small town where people talk. Word has gotten out that Choice does not reimburse timely or fairly, so service providers are not willing to take Choice warranty claims. If you want to stay relevant in this area, you should take steps to rectify that and improve your reputation. I would like to cancel my policy and receive a prorated refund of my premium.

the company is just looking for an excuse not to pay. even itheir own technician are puzzled with their decision. in one of my bathroom the emergency water gasket broke if due to a normal wear and tear. the claim was denied as the person who review the photos stated it was improperly installed. their own technician told them that installation was indeed proper but they still denied the claim. companies don’t want work foe the choice warranty as they dont tread them fairly.

My experience with Choice is a horror movie. Waiting for months for Choice to find a company to serviced the claims. Hearing technician after technician expressed dissatisfaction about how they don’t get reimbursed properly or treated by the company and my own personal negative experience makes this company’s service completely unacceptable and irresponsible. I am considering terminating my contract with them asap.

On Oct. 30, 2023 we sent a certified letter to Jim M, CEO of Choice Home Warranty detailing our difficulty in receiving service and reimbursement on our dishwasher. The letter was received Nov. 3, 2023. There has been no reply as of this date, Nov. 14, 2023. We purchased a contract for service on Jan. 4, 2023 and have filed no other claims other than this one. We would never recommend this company to anyone and will be canceling this contract.

Just had warranty work done, water heater replaced, paid over $600 and they did not put in a drip pan. Called ya’ll back and the gentleman that answer the phone could not care less. I even sent pictures of the damage done to my wall. What good is having the warranty program if we can’t trust the workers y’all send over. Still waiting on a response from Choice Home Warranty.

On Nov 8 the plumbing in both our bathrooms backed up and our toilets became unusable, our bathtub failed to drain, and fecal matter surged up in the shower in my bathroom. I put in a claim #220211678 and you informed me a plumber would come on Nov 16!!! I called the plumber and they informed me that they could not come any sooner. I canceled immediately and contracted a local plumber that came the next day, Mike’s Plumbing Co. He snaked the lines and fixed our problem for $457.32. Please reimburse me. NOT AMAZING!!.

I have been trying to get my washer fixed since April. They keep ordering the same parts. My basement has flooded twice. I have had to wet vac my basement twice. At what point do you just replace the washer. I have wasted 7-10 days waiting endlessly for the tech to come between 8-5 only to cancel after pushing appt to 6:14. Then 7:15 on last Friday night. Ned T thing I know they cancelled. Infuriating. I can’t take it when this is touted as the #1 home warranty company. Please redeem yourselves and solve the problem or replace asap. It’s been going on 7 months.

Part of our pool equipment started leaking and I submitted a claim. They were supposed to respond within 24 to 48 hours. And I did get a response which said they were working on it. And then I called and they still hadn't been able to identify anyone to come out and look at it. And then they did identify somebody about a week later, and Choice made an appointment, but the person didn't come. And then I had the number because Choice gave it to me and I tried to call the vendor that they identified and he didn't respond back. So I called Choice and they called him, and two days later he came out. And then he submitted their processes that he submits what he finds a problem, and then they authorize the repair. They did authorize the repair, but I still have not heard from the man to come back and do it. So this all happened between October 24th and today and he still hasn't been out to do the repair.

The technician was out here within a day. A guy came all the way from Dothan, Alabama to fix my garage and it took a couple of days for him to get the parts and stuff like that. But other than that, Jason did a great job.
