WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY REPAIR WAS HANDLED. TECH ORDERED THE PART FROM AMAZON, RECEIVED AT MY HOME THURSDAY AND THEN TOOK 2 WEEKS FOR THE TECH TO COME OUT AND INSTALL PARTS ON MY WASHER.

Absolutely terrible company! If you like 10,000 emails a day about how they want you to renew your contract. Also, they can care less about your issues when they happen. I went over 30 days with an AC problem and over 1 week with no hot water because they couldn't find anyone to come out to fix the problem. Read the contract, because the "things they don't cover" will definitely surprise you. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will turn and run as soon as my contract is done with them.

CHW does not live up to promise that a repairman will be in the home within 48 hours, There is no customer advocacy for covered problems. I called when my refrigerator cooling was not working. CHW scheduled an appointment for 5 days later -- which meant all the food spoiled. WORSE the repairman did not show. CHW took no initiative to get another one out immediately -- instead -- scheduled the second appmt for another 5 days out. 10 days to service a refrigerator that is not cooling! Ridiculous!

DON’T GET THIS WARRANTY!! The ice maker on my 20+yr old refrigerator went out and no one had parts for it. They first denied my claim saying that it didn’t constitute wear and tear. IT’S 20 YEARS OLD!!!! I paid $518.92 to repair it. I appealed it and they finally gave me only $230!!! I had another claim on 23 yr old washer and they also denied it! I appealed again and they only gave me $218!!! I’m very disgusted with them!! 🤬🤬🤬

We filed a claim two months ago . Still crickets. I’ve called and they always want to return the call and they do but I’m always away from my phone. Returning calls is bad. The status says active but nothing is being done. Our HVAC cools/heats part of the house but not other rooms. I’ve sent documents over where it has been inspected and still no follow up. Hopefully when they follow up with my claim I can give a different rating.

Choice Home Warranty has rarely held up to their end of the bargain. I've had 2 recent claims cost me over $5000 out of pocket for failures caused by normal wear and tear that Choice claims were not. Even the technicians they've sent out have said it was normal wear and tear and nothing I could have done to prevent it. When I've tried to fight the determination, Choice has lied even when the photos were right in front of their face and mine.

No one told me when I signed up at there are maintenance people in your organization that won’t go to Ajo Arizona. My refrigerator broke, I put in a claim, two weeks later I call about it and find out company couldn’t find anyone to go out there to fix it. I found someone and it couldn’t be fixed. I bought a new one, filled a claim 2 weeks ago to money back and nothing has happened. Not even a mention that my claim will be accepted.

This was my worst experience. I supplied them with estimates only to l after have their people come by who told me my repairs were authorized. Then ended up receiving payment for one faucet vs 2 and nothing fir my toilet. When I finally spoke to amanager they explained I had done it wrong and that's all I would get. Awful communications and I cannot warn people enough to avoid this company.

They did not have a plumber in my area and I had to find one on my own. Then would not reimburse at complete costs since we were not using a CHW contracted plumber. It was difficult for my plumber to submit info.

I was shocked when my claim was denied to repair the broken handle of my refrigerator. This was definitely not caused by misuse! I paid $85 and nothing was done to fix it! I informed the person of the problem when I put in the claim over the phone. I wish they had told me that this wouldn’t be covered before I wasted $85!

It takes them forever to find a solution to a problem, procrastinating, giving a run a run with issues and telling me afterwards that it is my responsibility to order parts needed and the manufacturing companies do not sell parts to homeowners just to vendors. Very disappointing, the resolution manager's have a worst attitude than customer service staff. I will not be renewing my policy.

I called about A/C problems 3/1/2024. Today is 4/10 and this issue has still not been resolved. I have not heard from Choice. Every bit of commutation has been initiated be myself. They tell it’s under review and I will be notified within. 4 or 24 or 48 hours . This has not happened. Today they say they are going to resubmit my claim which means restarting this entire claim. It’s has been 7 Weeks. I would never recommend this service to anyone!

I disliked that Choice Warranty was unable to secure a contractor to handle my claim after 2 weeks. I was able to find a contractor on my own and pay them upfront. Although I will be reimbursed, I feel it is a shame to pay a monthly fee and not get the service you deserve.

choice does everything possible to get out of taking care of the actual problem. Instead of replacing something that clearly needs replaced, the just put a "band aid" on it. I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years (i don't know why) and they continue to do business the same way. The contractors they send out say the same thing. They look for every reason not to do the right thing.

After filing claim it took 17 days to have technician come to home . He came on sat from 3 hours away . He fixed problem due to fact I had ordered and paid for the necessary part in advance or he would have to come back again after locating a part that is extremely hard to find . I would like to address the discrepancy regarding the inclusion of pool equipment in my policy. Despite being promised that my pool and its equipment would be covered, I later discovered that they were not included. This confusion has been exacerbated by the fact that my policy explicitly states coverage for the pool and pool heater. I don’t like the fact that when they have to replace an appliance, it takes up to 30 days to receive the E-gift card. An e-gift card shouldn’t take that long to receive. It’s called an electronic gift for a reason. It puts people in a horrible position especially with a family.

Last experience was a disaster. 2 weeks to find a plumber. Was given name of company and phone number. Number was for a private residence. Person at that number said he had not worked for the company for several years. We made appointment any way, he never shored. I had to hire my own plumber. Sent info about incident to CHOICE. They never responded. Would have had more success contacting ANGI.
