The technician was courteous, knowledgeable and worked fast to complete the task with the refrigerator. The respond time with the reimbursement for the refrigerator acceptance email was fast, less than 24 hrs! Still on the lookout for the reimbursement email. Refrigerators are not cheap trying to get them while they’re still on sale . I hope! Other than that I would say services good! Thank you choice!

They did a nice job and came back even when I was wrong in assuming the furnace was still not working. The room in question was a gymnasium and it took a long time to warm up so we assumed that when they left and it wasn't warming reasonably quickly that it hadn't been fixed. However, over the course of two days it began to warm appropriately.

No l haven had Choice Home Warranty, but the service I do have came with the house and I had to find my own person to do all the repairs and then pay it myself and then I’ll send them the list of everything and then wait for my money and that was really stressful for me because , I’m here in the town. It’s just so much easier with choice warranty. They have the people all I have to do is make money payments. I’ll pay it. Are you the pay one year and they and just called him and let them know his problem is they come out and fix it. It takes all the stress away.

Since I can only evaluate my opinion based on the information on website and the enrollment of my warranty. The website was easy to navigate and there was good information. The monthly cost is better than the one I had previously. However, the price of a home visit is more. I was impressed by the extent of the coverage. Much more than the previous warranty. The enrollment was easy and the real evaluation will come with the first customer service call.

Technician arrived on day scheduled--although a few days after call for help that for a critical problem like heat or water and not a broken washing machine could have been an issue--found the problem with a diagnostic test, had the replacement part in his truck, and fixed the washer quickly.

The technician seemed thorough and very pleasant. I dislike the length of time it is taking to repair my machine. The parts when ordered I asked to send them to my work but he wouldn't do that. Instead they were delivered and put on my front door step in plain view of everyone. I was supposed to be mailed a water pump and a belt. All I got was the water pump. I have mobility issues and it is hard for me to lug my clothes to the laundry mat, so this has really put me out. Not happy with that.

Choice Warranty has, for the most part, received our claims and processed them within a couple days....having someone able to come out and fix/diagnose the problem is another thing. Often times, Choice Home Warranty does NOT know how far come of the repair companies/individuals are to our home; and therefore, they cannot fulfill the order within 48 hours. Sometimes it has been up to 2 weeks, which is not acceptable. Choice warranty has to do better by their customers with this issue.

I like that they have fairly prompt responses. I don't like that they *don't* reimburse for costs of installation (of dishwasher) or hauling away. Also I don't like that don't offer comparable replacement appliances to those that have ceased to function, but rather a stipend toward replacement. I have also not been too impressed with the caliber of technicians on some of the service calls - for our dishwasher, the technician diagnosed over the phone (thinking it was a drain pump) and our new dishwasher still failed to drain. Turns out it was a clogged hose - something that would've saved us the cost of replacement - with an inferior dishwasher, by the way (new one is much louder and handles cheaply).

Excellent customer service! I didn't realize if you have multiple issues with one system (plumbing) it should all be under one claim, I thought each claim was separate. I contacted customer service, she cancelled first claim and set up another to include all of my plumbing issues under one claim - one service call charge!

Our older clothes washer began to not let in COLD water, for the rinse cycle. There's a part in there which allows the water flow, one path cold one for hot. This part is does it's work to allow the water to flow in. Our repair person diligently pursued the part, got it, and installed it quickly. Great!

Our kitchen faucet started leaking and needed to be replaced. The technician was very nice and professional. Only thing I didn’t like was the replacement faucet was not the same type as the one being replaced (ours was a high arc the new one was not). The contract states replacement will be builder grade not a direct replacement for what you have so it is what it is.

Having two policies and submitting a claim via computer for one property and inadvertently the claim was sent in for the wrong /other property. Tech arrived at the property and I had to give him the address of where the problem was. Tech arrived and diagnosed the issue. Submitted the claim and it was denied. Tried to explain to service department and was made to feel like I was trying to get away with something. It was simply an honest mistake. Had to file a new claim and now have to wait on another technician to rediagnose the problem and start over. Another $65.00 and maybe another claim to be submitted. Was wondering why the diagnosed that was written for the problem cannot be used vs having to start the process all over. I Understand you have procedures but although the tech went to the address in the system I was able to speak with him and provide the correct address. He came to the home where the problem was, but because it was under the policy number of the other property I don't understand. It makes sense to me yet I am being put through the ringer to have the issue addressed. I am not happy.

I have a problem with your company not wanting to replace an item until all options have been exhausted even though the item is 17 years old. We went through this with our dishwasher. It took over a month and many visits from the tech replacing items trying to get the dishwasher to work right. Then he finally reach a point where they didn't make a part anymore and it had to be replaced anyways. I think you put homeowners through a lot of stress and the tech's as well when you do this. I believe it would be less expensive if something is over 15 years old to just replace it. We could have gone this route with our garage door as well, but I don't need the stress of having to wait two weeks for parts and then if it doesn't work , wait another two weeks for more parts and then find out it can't be fixed. I just had the company replace it at my expense, now I'm wondering why I have your service at all. Maybe you should rethink some of your policies and take better care of the customer.

Submitted a claim for a dryer. The repair team came out which took about 10 days which I understand. They found the dryer to be not fixable, so the replacement option was initiated. The amount was low, so I discussed it with a claim representative, and we received a little bit more, but still well below what the actual replacement is. The biggest issue I have now is that the e-gift card is the only option and the process to issue it is two to three weeks. This whole process is turning into a six-week affair and we are without a dryer. I am disappointed this process is taking this long and feel you could improve on this service.

The company is great but they need to have a emergency person for every warranty, like are furnace wasn't working right and it was cold I called Friday at 12.00 and no one contacted me until Sunday to set my appointment until Tuesday. The company sent to fix my furnace was AM to PM heating and cooling the guys name was Paul he was very nice and he new what he was doing. It's just ashame they couldn't of got someone sooner to check my furnace out and it was cold that weekend. But over all they fixed my furnace and it's working now.

I was left with the idea that my issue was covered. I later got an email stating it isn’t covered under my contract and I could appeal if I wanted to. The parts have a 10 year warranty. But the issue was that it wasn’t due to normal wear and tear. I didn’t know what to do. I finally called the office and asked for the technician’s note be read to me, in case I had to call someone else. She said that the parts are covered but there are additional fees to get the warranteed parts, etc. I told her that was fine and to get the parts, and they will install them. It’s too bad the email said nothing about this. Would have been nice if this option was offered in the email. Now everything will be done.
