I just bought a new home in August and decided to buy a Choice Home Warranty protection plan. I was glad I did too because 2 months after moving in, I had a major problem with my kitchen dishwasher. I called a Choice Representative telling him my problem, I thought he was very courteous as he provided the service company's contact information. I felt immediately reassured that my problem was going to get fixed fast. The service company was known for their quick replies. When the tech arrived early the next morning, he was able to repair my dishwasher no problem. I am very pleased overall with the service I received from the tech and from the Choice representative who took my call.

Mr. Greg L first took the time to notice that I built a plan on line and included my garage deep freezer. No other agent did that. He went above and beyond to address my concerns and explained the part of the policy that I was concerned about to me. He then even further recognized that I was a Veteran and offered the Military extension plan to us and the fee drop we would receive switching from our current home warranty. If my husband was happy to hear how good quality the plan is Greg really impressed because it is hard to get my husband to say yes when a lump sum of money is being shelled out at one time. I must say Greg did an amazing job selling us the plan.

I have this company as my current home service company. I have been a customer since January. I haven't had a claim yet and I hope I don't. I'd like to think I'm paying for peice of mind. Why I chose this company when I left my other company was customer service I called to switch and I got better coverage for less than I was paying with the other company. On hold time is virtually non- existent. The reps are polite and knowledgeable and the best part is I'm talking to someone in New Jersey instead of Bangkok, Thailand. Not having to repeat yourself or ask the other person to repeat themselves goes a long way in my book. I recommend these guys based on customer service. I have had a few home warranty companies in my day and if something goes wrong I feel comfortable that there on the job.

They said they weren’t repairing my laundry center which is a washer,dryer combo and can not be separated. Yes it’s old and parts are unavailable. So it’s a replace. Their $1000 is not going to replace a Maytag Neptune. They argued they don’t have to give me more it’s in the contract. They can determine what to replace it with not what you have.

My washer stopped working 12/26/25 and I still do not have it replaced or repaired. Was told that I will get it replaced wit a Lowe’s e-gift card. And then when I called today it said I will receive within 30’daya. This isn’t acceptable when you are out of a washer for 3 weeks now. Getting a repair technician was difficult and the communication with Choice wasn’t very good. Not very pleased with this claim and this company at this time.

Had two claims in the past two weeks – both were denied. One involved a GFI wired, according to the tech, incorrectly. Company would not even buy another GFI switch. The other involved a leak from a split washing machine hose which created water seeping into the basement from the ceiling which required a sheet rock repair – they wouldn’t pay for that either. I’ve discovered the company is good until you ask them to spend money

I put in a claim for having lost power to a couple of rooms in my house. They sat in this for two weeks and just kept saying “Our dispatch team ( who you couldn’t speak to) was still calling to find someone to do the work. They said everyone was booked up. Funny thing after going round and round for 2 weeks I started calling ant the first electrician I called had a same day appointment and was there in under 2 hours. I just paid for the repair myself as it was a very simple issue and cost less than the deductible I would have paid with Choice. Why do I have this service again?

I purchased a 5 year home warranty. I have had two denials in the past 12 months for a claim. One stated normal maintenance will not cover, for an HVAC system fan motor. It is not normal maintenance to change a fan motor every year. Second, would not change a cracked electric receptacle switch. Needless to say, I will not be renewing my contract when it expires and I would not recommend this company.
