I was not Happy with my last appointment. I was never given a Date or Time, the technician just called ten minutes before he arrived. I tried to find out information about my appointment and was unable. I called and left my number for a call back, that didn't happen either. Very Unhappy Customer!!!!

They covered the springs in my garage door, but not the door they paid 200. I had paid 1550. Fixed my water leak in the wall not my hot water heater. They paid 250. I paid 1500. So you see the pattern here. Not very good service in my opinion.

I wish I was able to give 0 rating. After three years home warranty it’s a first time I need to get service for my garage doors issue. The vendors are working with this home warranty are really bad service. The company came charged us two times more than outside network that I found out after fixing. Home warranty didn’t approve for full price service. Technically both vendors and choice home warranty support each other instead customer. Vender’s review shows all customer’s have a same problem.

it took the technician a week to show just to diagnose the problem. Then the next available time he could come back with the new part was two weeks later. Then on the day they we scheduled to complete the repair they didn't show up and gave me a new date two weeks later. Choice home warranty does nothing to help speed up the process. It is the worst plan and the absolute worst customer service.

CHW waited two weeks to find someone to fix my air conditioner.I suppose they were trying to find a repair service that would find that the problem with my air conditioner was not covered in the contract. The repair cost me $1,000.00 So much for having a service contract ,

I paid over $6,000. For 5 years of coverage. My first claim required a refrigerator repair that Choice would only have paid for partially. I would have to paid for a circuit board and another service charge for a 10 yr refrigerator. Choice says they would not cover the circuit board because nothing was wrong with it but the compressor that went out could not be replaced as it was outdated. How can you not replace all parts to repair the “covered” refrigerator??? I am waiting for my refund check as I cancelled Choice warranty after this horrible experience. Where is my refund??

I had to pay too much money out of pocket for repair and replacement. In 2023 Appliance Appliance left a tube loose from the refrigerator that leaked and caused the ceiling to collapse in the basement, causing me to pay $1500 to repair. Today, Choice didn't replace my stove top. I had to pay $35 for an inspection from Lowes, $169 for Gas Permit, $169 for basic installation $40 for Gas hook up kit. Choice offered $338 Egift from Lowes which is not receiving until next 30 days. Why am I paying monthly with no benefit?

I had to go through 2 claims in order for Choice Home Warranty to get my claim corrected. The first company they sent took pertinent parts and never returned them. Then Choice explained to me that it was my responsibility to contact the company that to retrieve them (after Choice recommended them). Finally (and after a determination was made that my high end appliance needed replacing, Choice offered an extremely low replacement cost. Then, it takes 30 days to get the check.?! This process has been extremely time consuming and unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the outcome!

If there was a zero rating that's what I would give. Took over 2 weeks to get a technician and the customer service people were the rudest people I ever dealt with. I got offered an egift card for much less than replacement but I had to wait 30 days. I cancelled the auto credit card payment and they now will not sent the e-card they were supposed to send. This company is a bunch of thieves.

I was so disappointed in the company I had a dryer that had a problem and choice warranty made it seem like it was my fault months later I had a problem with my air conditioner unit and choice warranty made that my problem My fault that it stopped working and I come to find out that Joyce warranty always finds a way not to fulfill part of the contract Make it the customer's fault so I wouldn't recommend choice warranty to anyone maybe that y'all get better with trying to provide good service for good customers have a great day Thank you

The case Manager called me this morning to advise me that my claim was still denied and BBB ruled in CHW favor. Another false statement. I read the report from BBB and they asked me to respond to CHW ‘s response. I filed my answer with them. This case manager could care less about your clients. I pleaded with her to examine the real reason the pool pump failed and it fell on deaf ears. I sent in a cancellation request this morning. My experience with CHW was not what I expected.

Claimed was made on 6/7/2024 Service diagnosed on 6/17/2024 ,the problem which I already know. Choice home offered replacement on 6/18/2024 with a gift card to LOWES. Reached out to them on 6/22 and still has NOT received the LOWES ‘ gift card. It is almost a mind still w/o working appliances. I would think hard for the future HOME CHOICE warranty

TOOK 2 WEEKS TO GET A TECH TO MY HOUSE AND SERVICE MY AC UNIT WHEN THE TEMPS WERE IN THE 90'S. SO THAT 48 HOUR PROMISE IS A LIE JUST LIKE WHEN I SIGNED UP THE LIE THAT THERE WERE TECHS IN MY AREA. THE TECH THEY FINALLY SENT HAD TO DRIVE 2.5 HOURS TO GET HERE. THEN IT TOOK 2 MORE HOURS FOR THE AUTHORIZATION TO DO THE REPAIR.. THE 5 STAR BELOW IS THE RATING FOR THE TECH NOT I REPEAT NOT FOR CHOICE WARRANTY.

Make you jump through a ton of hoops and push blaim to the manufacturer. Had me do part of their job for them and then they still wouldn't cover my claim or tell me why I had to pay an amount out of pocket. Stay far far far away from this company. Will definitely not be renewing my "coverage" with them. My case manager even hung up the phone on me when I questioned why I need to pay out of pocket.

I have repeatedly tried to contact you to no avail. Every time I would call you gave me a choice to have someone call me back which they never did. I had a terrible experience with this company. The service technicians were rude, talked over me, and failed to explain why they couldn't fix my Whirlpool tub after three attempts. I contacted a service in Ohio for a hot water heater issue, they sent an electrician who said I needed a breaker but never returned. Another technician fixed a leak in my refrigerator but only turned off the water source. They offered me $986 for a $4200 refrigerator replacement, still undecided on what to do. The customer service from this company is terrible. I've been waiting over 5 days for a response on a washing machine repair, and they still haven't sent anyone. Every claim I make, they give me the runaround. I used to have American Home Shield, which was slightly more expensive at $100 but much better. They actually took care of problems promptly.
