It took almost a week to deny my claim. They denied it right before a holiday when no one will come out, disgraceful. If they had read the claim and denied it right away, at least my garage door could have been fixed by the holiday on my dime. I am not disappointed that they denied my claim, my issue is when they got the contractor's explanation, saw it was an issue outside my policy, why did it still take them 6 days to deny it? My previously claims were fairly easy, but have never been worth the yearly or service fees.

Awful shady technicians and $100 is now the service fee it's total rip off and they rip you off for $100 and say that somebody else has to come out cuz it's in their realm of pixie or appliances so no I don't want to be ripped off anymore I already got ripped off for a hundred bucks and it's not going to happen again otherwise I'm an idiot

None of my claims serviced by Choice Home Warranty were satisfactorily resolved or completed. Some contractors / technicians were inexperienced and incompetent. CHW is much too argumentative regarding job quality or completion and our contract interpretation.

Most vendors do not show up to perform repairs. Choice finds every angle not to honor a claim. I.e. garage door spring broke (covered item) which caused door to come off track. Choice denied claim because door was off track???

I regret getting this warranty. You have to use whoever they send. Then they do not service your product or not covered by warranty, so you pay double fees, first the warranty service fee then the service call and repairs. So disappointed. Definitely a rip off.

They would not approve a replacement circuit breaker like the one that didn't work. A circuit breaker that is an ARC Fault breaker and required for the house. They schedule a contractor without inquiring what days or times would work instead of having the contractor call to set an appointment. I would not recommend them.

Additional from previous review. On dishwasher claim they offered $272 to replace Kenmore Elite stainlees steel machine. They also simply send you a check within 30 days. Very difficult to deal with. If you expect to have your appliances replaced with a like macine in a timely hassle free manner, Choice is not what you want.

They don't honor their word.. Charge you and then tell you. They don't cover that, after telling you they'll send someone out for the same issue, They know they won't cover. Tell you they have no one to come out. And do the work so to hire your own people, and then pay you less than 1/3 of what it costs to have it fixed. Not honorable.
