When you place a claim its at least a week before somebody shows up.Then they order parts and it's at least a week before they come back. Usually gets rescheduled a couple times. Not the service I expected. But they do eventually get everything fixed. Takes a lot of Patience The technicians are friendly when they do show up.

My dishwasher broke, and the amount that they paid was not enough to cover a new dishwasher. Same story with the water heater. They’re don’t cost much, but they also don’t pay hardly anything. And the worst part is they don’t tell you they barely cover the cost of replacement. I absolutely will not be renewing with them

The company had to schedule 2 people to lift the microwave into place. The AM/PM no longer works on the clock, the microwave makes strange noises when running, the cabinet above the microwave now has condensation on it when it runs, the microwave was not wiped down after installation. I have to have pay another company to repair the microwave. Will not renew my warranty.

Using the phone or website to schedule service is absolutely horrific. Every time you try to get to a live person it cuts you off and sends you back to the beginning. It does not give you the option on the phone to explain your problem, especially since there is more than one dealing with the same objetc.

I don’t think its worth the aggravation and hassle Choice Warranty puts you through. My air conditioner went out mid July, during one of the hottest summers in Las Vegas, and was not repaired until November. Now my ice maker stopped working and my claim was denied. It’s better to put those monthly payments aside and pay for repairs yourself.

They take advantage to not pay labor when they can find another warranty on hot water heaters. It is a very deceptive practice they use to screw you out of major warranty money. You would think having two warranties is better? Not so because this company screws you over on the deal and says doing you a favor by making your out of pocket hundreds more than your copay! Be aware of this unfair practice by this company. Stay away from them. Learned my lesson, covered by a crooked company!!

Read the fine print. Sales person will tell you that if it can’t be repaired, they will replace with like item of similar value. That is not true. Replacement value is far below builder grade and you can’t purchase a replacement. I have had this warranty for 3 years, 4 claims and none were worth having the warranty. Save your money and put it aside for any repairs you might need

Worst service. I've submitted 3 claims only one was "approved" Still fighting to get the repair finished, which only got approved because I treated to cancel and asked for my money back. I've tried calling over and over and over and get no help. I'm told that it will be approved before end of the day then get email that they need proof of repair. They deal with repair person and receive the billing. I have nothing to provide them. It's insanely ridiculous. Don't buy into this scam!

My experience with Choice has been they are very slow in obtaining a vendor to handle my problems. I’ve gone days without a critical service down. A toilet when house guests were on the way. I had to arrange for a plumber and that was very costly. I wasn’t offered a chance to go outside the Choice system until three days after the problem was reported

Yes, I pay $75 for a service call but the plumbers that are sent are horrible, can’t diagnose the issue and I’ve had to engage my own because the ones sent by Choice don’t know what they’re doing- but I’ve wasted money and time off work trying to use them.

The worst decision I ever made was to go with Choice. I will make sure to tell whoever I can to not go with Choice. The sales person mentioned that any claim will be assigned to a technician within 24 - 48 hours and I had to wait for more than 15 days and even after that there was no movement. Customer service is the worst. I cancelled my policy because I was so fed up.

I experienced a plumbing emergency and waited 4 days before a contractor was assigned.. I cancelled the claim, paid for another contractor to come out (arrived within 1hour) . Currently vetting other companies to provide a home warranty service that responds in a more timely manner. Choice Home Warranty looks for ways to not approve claims. I have purchased multiple home "warranty" coverages from them throughout the years, and recently, the denied claims are becoming more frequent. For example, although the wiring was intact, a claim for an oven control board was denied due to roach droppings on the board. Thousands of dollars have been spent on a multi-year contract, but Choice denied a claim that would have cost a couple of hundred dollars. Such decisions on claims makes one wonder if a home warranty is a good and practical investment.

The two times I file claim I have to cancel because they do not have providers in the area. One other time they send someone from Austin when we have the property in San Antonio, the electrician did not complete the job and place a follow up 3 weeks down the road, have to hire somebody else to fix the problem. Do not fall this company they are not good, same bad service like the other companies in this business.

I am not sure we are spending our money wisely with this program. We had a garage door repair gut come out and did a little maintenance on our door only to turn around and give us a huge quote to update the door to good working order. My husband had to go out and fix the door after the guy left.

The worst approval rates. Many claims went unpaid. Examples: garage door, water heater, HVAC repairs, outside light fixture, and many others. You advertise that you cover these items, then make it an art to decline the claim and mark it as not covered. Then, you take credit for hooking me up with a freshman contractor out of college. Choice Warranty is not amazing at all. My mistake was buying the policy for 5 years and paying upfront. I don't recommend this rip-off company.

The warranty is worth it when it actually pays but most repairs are considered outside of coverage costing me the warranty AND out of pocket full price repairs. My HVAC was a large one and I had to find out from the assigned company after months of ignoring me for Choice denied the repair. I didn't receive an email as requested from review or even a call.

If there was a 0 stars I would have chosen it. This company is a rip off. Horrible service response. Took 2 weeks to get someone to look at my water heater that just needed replaced then still cost me over $400 out of pocket. Had a claim in for a dishwasher for 4 weeks and still hasn’t been looked at. Save your money and put it into a savings account.
