This is the worst home warranty company I’ve ever dealt with. They stopped covering items that had been covered before. Same contract, same appliances, but they just made up lies as to why it was no longer covered. They also sent an insult of a replacement amount for another appliance when they no longer wanted to cover repairs. Horrible customer service. It has been an extreme displeasure dealing with them.

I had to pay $9,800 out of my own pocket towards a new ac when choice home warranty did not help. Choice home warranty denied my claim and said it was from previous damage. I have no idea why they would say that when it was working great until I had to put my claim in ! Even my ac technician’s said Choice Home Warranty is horrible to work with. They never approve anything. Thanks for nothing choice home warranty

It's been at least six/seven weeks since we called about two appliances and they are not fixed yet!! The refrigerator is in process of repair but the clothes dryer isn't being attended to! The repair company Affordable TV and Appliance came out evaluated the dryer, collected $65 and has done nothing else. Blames Choice for not approving parts. We're not happy.

Took a long while to get a technician. Tech wanted to replace entire shower faucet, you said no just washers and knobs. Now we have no precise control over the hot and cold water for shower. Drip almost completely fixed and we're still waiting for tech to return to fix the clunking sound hot water makes when faucet is turned on. Did you nix that too?

My built in oven needed to be replaced. and the only offer I got was $549, which I accepted as your representative was rude and abrasive and said that was the most as they only offer wholesale price and they do not offer replacement. She referred me to purchase an "open box" from Best Buy which stated parts were missing. A built in over on sale is close to $1,000, so out of pocket without installation was close to $500.00. What kind of warranty is this?

I can never get through to talk to someone about my coverage or if I need to explain about what going on. The only time I can talk someone when they are try to push renewal. I have had to pay full price out of pocket for services because I could not get through to someone at CHOICE. Most of the time the attitudes are horrible and unconcerned

Filing a claim is a lengthy and difficult process. The technician answered the original questions asked by the claims department. They responded with more questions, he responded with answers and for two weeks they’ve been going back-and-forth with questions and answers. Every time he supplies what they need they come back with more questions and still no results. Because of the length of time this is taking, I now have additional repairs that are needed not only to the part in the original claim but surrounding areas.

Very disappointed with a air conditioner repair that was denied. Vibration caused the brackets to break on the fan grill and the fan fell. They claimed that vibration was not normal wear and tear and therefore denied the claim. They were not interested in speaking to the technician directly even though he offered. Really disappointed with the lack of integrity of the claims review and appeals team. They obviously were not interested in hearing the truth as it would have required a major repair of around $850.

This was a nightmare. My fridge quit so I called them and it was 3 days before a technician came and he couldn't fix it, had to order parts. From there it was 1 month until a technician came to my house. One very stressful month. How long is one expected to go without a fridge. Finally we had to go buy one. No one communicated with us and phone calls only made me angrier. And they won't refund me for the service call . Don't do business with this company, they're terrible

- The claim from May 1, 2024 still has not been resolved for my overpayment of the service call for a Fischer Paykel dishwasher. - Each year, I start getting calls and texts from Choice asking for me to sign up early. The calls start about 3 to 4 months prior to the actual end of the warranty contract. This is annoying and has now become an irritation. - Calls to the Service Center are not answered but routed to another department and no action can be taken. - Calls to the Service Center are not followed up.

Terrible service. I was sent an email by Choice Home Warranty saying that I had appointment on June 6 between 11 and three. No one showed up when I called the repairman. He said the part didn’t come in yet and that he hast to put an appointment in there regardless if he has a part or doesn’t have a part, which to me, makes no sense at the very least. Choice Home Warranty should’ve called and told me that they would not be coming because they still did not have the part pretty sad and pathetic. I will not renew my subscription .

Kind of feel like it is a bait-and-switch. "Oh yes, we cover everything." But the fine details are (a) we only cover actual value not replacement value so...old dishwasher goes out and you get $246 to replace and the cheapest dishwasher is $600! Or "only covers materials not labor" so things like installation, delivery and sundry all fall on the owner. Sure, $246 is better than nothing but coverage is normally only a drop in the bucket for the full expense and you have to deal with their timelines and contractors. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Can't talk to a live person. Takes forever for a claim to be resolved. I have 5 people in my family and I was without a washer for a month. Without a shower for 2 weeks. I ended up replacing my own hot water heater. Horrible customer service. If anyone is looking for a home warranty company do not choose this one.

I’ve had to wait sometimes a few weeks for someone around here to take the jobs! I also had 7 trips Inpaid for to get my garage door totally working again! That cost over $400.! People came Burberry not qualified . I had to buy a new opener, they didn’t code the request correctly and I didn’t have the receipt to turn in if I would be reimbursed! Just issues with each claim and wait time!

Once they schedule a contractor Choice Warranty does nothing to help us out. Customer service becomes very sarcastic and just wants to get me off the phone. I needed a new hot water tank, which Choice warranty paid for, but I paid the labor charge for 2 people and only one came.

You advertise replacement value and it is misleading. My washing machine new was $900+ and it was given $560 to replace it. Also you have spotty representation where I live to repair pool equipment and appliances. Past suppliers that you sent to me have complained you are a slow payer to them and will not work with you going forward.
