Leo was a very nice guy but he insisted on trying to sell me a 3 year policy to keep the price at the same rate. When I told him that we couldn't afford it, he tried several times with different approaches to get me to agree. I didn't like it at all, when I say no, I like people to respect my answer and let it go. He was getting me a little bit upset but I kept it together and continued to be nice to him and finished getting the house insirance for the appliances.

I have been trying for weeks to get my water heater fixed. I’ve had far too many cold showers. It took 3 or 4 weeks and several phone calls to get an appointment with a plumber and then he didn’t show. After a couple of weeks and more phone calls I got a second appointment. He didn’t show this time either. And since I was out of town I had to pay someone to go to my house and wait for him. All and all it’s been a couple of months and my water heater still hasn’t been fixed. Y’all must not have any follow up procedures at all because you have not bothered to check with me. I have to call you. I am trying to sell my house and no hot water is a distinct disadvantage.

Choice was very responsive online, but long waits for live contacts. I suspect that is common with the Pandemic. Once i got through to them they were very helpful. Had to replace a washing machine and i would say they were very fair in the settlement . I was actually surprised that they made the settlement process painless.

They are very prompt at getting on a request for service. The communication is also pretty fast. However, the communication you receive back is sometimes contrary to what is actually going on with the project. I know that they are in the business to make money, however there is more fine print in the contract on things that they don't cover than of things that they do cover.

I wasn't sure my AC problem would be covered. The agent I talked to found a way for me to submit my claim. The tech that came wasn't able to use the website to submit the estimate so he fi ed it and then kept Trying to get the info in. He couldn't. After he left and I card you the agent was so nice and helpful. He made it possible for may AC to be covered.

I was approved for an outside vendor to repair my AC unit. They came promptly. And perform the services for diagnostics and repair at a very reasonable rate. I was given an opportunity to send in for reimbursement And of the $300 (Dx visit, compressor capacitor, condensing fan capacitor and labor for repair) fee choice home warranty is electing to only reimburse $165.00. No explaination and written in a way like they are doing me a favor.

Not. Sure yet since we just signed up. We appreciate the rates we were given and the discounts. However, the man pressured Way too hard on the five year plan and paying all up front even though it was to be paid for the next 3 months. Just could not pay 2,000 in the next 3 months. He kept pressuring me until I almost hung up on him and did nothing at all. We will see how it goes from here on out

the technician thot came out said I need a new coil for my AC choice did not authorize the coil to be replaced technician was required to put a stop leak product in it worked temporarily , I called in for service again and again the technician is required to do another leak test. in the mean time my AC can not keep up with the temperature outside I purchased a 5 year warranty and so far its a 50/50 on getting things taken care of. we’ll see if the technician gets the ok this time to replace the coil thst needs to be replaced or if he will be required to try an rig it to keep it working ridiculous

He was knowledgeable, explained everything he did or looked at, and also explained recommendations regarding my AC. He was also on time, and called to let me know he was on his way to insure I was prepared for him to be there. As far as billing, was not sure what you wanted, but I pay $60.00 for service fee, and so far, any time I have used the Choice Warranty service, I have not had to pay any more than the $60.00

Everything has been effortless in terms of contact to file claim, and providing follow-up giving next step instructions. Technician was fast and professional and provided good next step information and timing. A four day wait to schedule a technician and have him come to the house was a bit excessive to my way of thinking, but the problem is with a microwave which is not exactly an end of life event; however, if it was the air conditioner system that went out in our existing 110 plus degree heat and was told that there was a 4 plus day wait to have a technician come out and do repairs, I would be very unhappy...just say’in for future activity.

I had a warranty policy with another company and I was doing some research of other companies when a Rep from Choice called. I signed up with Choice. I informed the gentleman that I had a washer that was not draining from the water softener container. He told that it wouldn't be a problem getting it repaired when I signed up with Choice. I submitted a work request in June and it was denied. I asked to cancel my policy and a lady told me that it was not possible to get it repaired since this happened before the policy was effective. I was upset because I told the person that sold me the policy about the washer before I signed up with Choice. I was told that I would get $150 toward the repairs however, I couldn't get the washer repaired through Choice.

This single experience went fine; very quick processing of the claim and the responding technician responded within a day. My overall problem with Choice Home Warranty is that, at least in my experience, make their decision based on the cost of repair or replacement to them, often denying claims (even though the technician has recommended otherwise) when big ticket items, e.g., A/C units are involved.

Very responsive.to calls. Service people are usually scheduled for the next day and they show up and address the problem. If parts are needed to do the repair the service man tells you the day he will be back with the parts and shows up. I am very happy with this company.

What I like is I called on July 2nd my air conditioning had gone out and someone got back with me that evening stating someone would be to my home July 3rd between 7am and 11am. Most companies usually say do the Holiday they can’t get anyone to you until Monday or Tuesday of the next week week.

Very punctual and very little hassle. Had a couple of issues with our plumbing that requires two different calls. One plumber on the first call did not see any problem under our kitchen sink and left. The second plumber when he came out to address a separate issue was kind enough to look at the first issue and quickly saw the issue and worked with Choice Home to get that worked authorized at no additional cost. We are now waiting for that work to be scheduled and done. I like how this involved minimal involvement from me.

I would have given them a 5 star rating except the initial customer service was rough going. I was dropped a few times and until supervisors and management got involved I wasn't feeling the love. However, once management was involved they were excellent simply put. There was a problem on the communications part in the beginning which was straightened out after two days. Choice honored the agreement and things were resolved. Choice might want to look at their internet communications aspect to improve the customer experience.
