Do not replace, repair costly repairs. Very, very, very bad, unfair, no response to electrical problem that began January 3, 2020. Still do not have power. Initial repair was not done properly caused total power loses to furnace and fuse box needs to be replaced. Had 4 different assigned Case Managets who never returned my calls or responded to my written appeal. .

I wasn't happy. Felt like they did everything in their power to weasel out of repairs. I used them twice. First time the customer service agent didn't understand what I needed, so that was a wasted call. The second time was for a garage door opener that was 20 years old and they tried to get out of it until the contractor told them it had to be replaced. I paid for 3 years and got one repair. I could've done that on my own for that cost.

I filed a claim and I was denied because they said there was rust corrosion. I filed another claim on an air conditioner and they told me there was rust corrosion and it wasn't covered so I was denied. I've had very little service from them. Only simple things but a couple of little claim problems. Everytime I talked to them, it was denied. I'll never renew with Choice.

Spoke to them on phone, told them we had cracked glass on a cooktop and they send a guy who tells us it's not covered. Had to pay the deductible for the guy to come. They should have told me by phone it wasn't covered instead of sending the guy here and costing me the deductible for nothing.

it takes several days for them to set up appliance repair appt andnsend out handymen for the repairs sometimes taking several visits to figure out the peoblem and when the appliance to be replaced offering payment thant does not cover the price of the appliance for example $350 to replace a washer

Had a leaking in the plumbing and they came out and fixed the issue but they had to cut the dry wall in the ceiling and they haven't come back to finish that. Other than that so far so good and I would highly recommend.

They don't get the information right when you call them to make a claim and it's not very good. I had a frozen pipe break and I called them up and to this day in February, I still have no hot water and now I'm paying out of pocket to get everything fixed in my house and they're saying because I had the wrong pipe but it was a plastic pipe. They have no workers out in my are that will come out. The whole thing with Choice Warranty is they're supposed to be there to help you when something breaks and I've been with them over four years. I've had claims and I have no help.

They covered my icemaker the first time around then the next time I found out it wasn't covered. Which I didn't appreciate when it was covered the first time. They were slow on getting back to me and I wasn't happy. The other experiences I have with them they did great.

If they don't want to replace the unit they pay you out a portion which isn't fair. I needed to use it to replace my stove. My stove was old so instead of replacing it they just gave me a very low dollar amount and said take it or leave it.

Like all home warranties they find tons of excuses to not pay for repairs and if the job is covered they take forever to find someone who is cheap enough so they aren't paying too much out of their own pocket. Doesn't matter that the customer is inconvenienced while they are looking.
