My experience with Choice is a horror movie. Waiting for months for Choice to find a company to serviced the claims. Hearing technician after technician expressed dissatisfaction about how they don’t get reimbursed properly or treated by the company and my own personal negative experience makes this company’s service completely unacceptable and irresponsible. I am considering terminating my contract with them asap.

With this last claim that we tried to get through, they wouldn't refund us for some of the parts. They approved the job and we got the job done, but they never refunded us for any of it. I need a manager to call me so that we can get this refund.

On Oct. 30, 2023 we sent a certified letter to Jim M, CEO of Choice Home Warranty detailing our difficulty in receiving service and reimbursement on our dishwasher. The letter was received Nov. 3, 2023. There has been no reply as of this date, Nov. 14, 2023. We purchased a contract for service on Jan. 4, 2023 and have filed no other claims other than this one. We would never recommend this company to anyone and will be canceling this contract.

Just had warranty work done, water heater replaced, paid over $600 and they did not put in a drip pan. Called ya’ll back and the gentleman that answer the phone could not care less. I even sent pictures of the damage done to my wall. What good is having the warranty program if we can’t trust the workers y’all send over. Still waiting on a response from Choice Home Warranty.

On Nov 8 the plumbing in both our bathrooms backed up and our toilets became unusable, our bathtub failed to drain, and fecal matter surged up in the shower in my bathroom. I put in a claim #220211678 and you informed me a plumber would come on Nov 16!!! I called the plumber and they informed me that they could not come any sooner. I canceled immediately and contracted a local plumber that came the next day, Mike’s Plumbing Co. He snaked the lines and fixed our problem for $457.32. Please reimburse me. NOT AMAZING!!.

I have been trying to get my washer fixed since April. They keep ordering the same parts. My basement has flooded twice. I have had to wet vac my basement twice. At what point do you just replace the washer. I have wasted 7-10 days waiting endlessly for the tech to come between 8-5 only to cancel after pushing appt to 6:14. Then 7:15 on last Friday night. Ned T thing I know they cancelled. Infuriating. I can’t take it when this is touted as the #1 home warranty company. Please redeem yourselves and solve the problem or replace asap. It’s been going on 7 months.

Part of our pool equipment started leaking and I submitted a claim. They were supposed to respond within 24 to 48 hours. And I did get a response which said they were working on it. And then I called and they still hadn't been able to identify anyone to come out and look at it. And then they did identify somebody about a week later, and Choice made an appointment, but the person didn't come. And then I had the number because Choice gave it to me and I tried to call the vendor that they identified and he didn't respond back. So I called Choice and they called him, and two days later he came out. And then he submitted their processes that he submits what he finds a problem, and then they authorize the repair. They did authorize the repair, but I still have not heard from the man to come back and do it. So this all happened between October 24th and today and he still hasn't been out to do the repair.

It was a little bit of a long time to wait for the material to come. It's more than one month to wait and this is the experience that we have. It was too long for someone without a fridge. After our our first bad experience, I didn't have any problem. They are all very professional and they handle it very well.

I reported a leakage from my shower down to my basement ceiling. The contractor who came and looked at it said its not plumbing issue but grouting issue so he cannot fix. He said he will notify home choice warranty to send a tile person to take a look. However I saw the update on CHW claim that this problem has been fixed. The leakage is still there and I am planning to fix it myself. So not satisfied with this particular claim

Sales oversold something he clearly could not provide - claims are rude and not helpful when you need them the most; If you appeal, you are promised a personal 1:1 point of contact, you will never talk to anyone else. BIG LIE. Eric P called me when Taurean R should have and he was so rude, he would not listen to anything I had to say, he finally just said I can cancel your contract and email you confirmation right now, he did that and hung up on me! Go elsewhere if you need a warranty company! These people will take your money and never help you! Buyer BEWARE!

Not all promises have been done. I needed to use it last spring and you all never got me a technician. And then when I went ahead and went and found my own technician, I received an e-mail from your company after the fact saying that if I found my own technician that I could get reimbursed. Well, that didn't happen. Y'all would not reimburse me because y'all said that I did not contact you all first to see if you could approve the technician that I had. And the person that I spoke to, she told me she was part of management and she wouldn't let me speak to anybody else and she would not reimburse me. And that really upset me because I have paid for this. I paid for it a whole year and I have never used it. Another time I had asked for a technician previous to that, and one never showed up.

There’s a lawsuit against them by the Arizona, Attorney General. It outlines exactly the same problems that I have along with hundreds of other people maybe more. The contract says one thing but then when it comes to paying a claim, they find a way to deny it which is not in the contract that happened to me with some ceiling fans that they needed to repair and they authorized it but then they said it only covers two. And if I don’t use the vendor they sent them I don’t get any benefit at all.

CHW schedules repair appointment with fictional company, that have 7777777777 as the phone number 2 days out from claim, the company never shows up and I can't reach them. Them CHW has me waiting for a new company to get the repair and I have already paid the $75 service charge, still waiting for repair. Not a reliable company and not customer friendly.

It was difficult to work with CHW and to finally get my repairs completed. Each time I was able to finally get to a live agent they did not have a good of the issues and actions by CHW. We had to start over during every call. Very difficult to work with CHW.

It took 10 days to have a technician check out my refrigerator. The first technician was canceled by Choice Home Warranty causing it to take another week for a different technician to show up. How is someone expected to go almost 2 weeks without a refrigerator. This is totally unacceptable. I am not pleased with Choice Home Warranty and this service for my refrigerator.
