On the first two claims, they responded very quickly and on the other claim I had to write a bunch of emails to see if it was covered. There is not follow up when they say it is not covered.

They cover a lot of different issues and the last man they sent out for the air conditioning really knew his stuff but the guy for the garage door opener was not qualified. He did not know what he was doing.

We’re not satisfied. They don’t cover what we have. We had an issue with our heater. It needed to be replaced and they refused to replace it, saying the motor was dirty. We’ve has other issues too. We have been very disappointed.

I am not satisfied with my situation with my washing machine. I had a claim for it and they tried to repair it but it could not be repaired. So they gave me a replacement value of like 200 dollars and I can’t replace it for less than 600 dollars. I am still waiting for the replacement.

Choice had the same company to come out three times for the same problem without the problem being fixed when asked to change to another agent to fix the problem I was told I would have to pay the fee again to fix the existing problem that has lingered on for 2 months. Needless to say the problem still is not fixed and is causing my child with a medical condition problems

We didn’t even know about home warranties but our real estate agent recommended them and I can tell you that with Choice we have had some bad experiences where the refused claims. I am in contact with an attorney and I am contacting the better business bureau. It is a scam. I will never use them again. They don’t listen to you and don’t approve your legitimate claims.

About 3 times this year I have used my warranty. Once was for the air conditioned, another was for the stove, and the last one was the garbage disposal. They cover most of my appliances.

Do not understand why my clothes dryer part, dial with timer & on, off, was not covered. Service man was nice enough to give me model number to order from amazon. That dial powers the dryer. Not cosmetic.

It seems like they never have anything covered. When I used the warranty for the stove, the first company said it needed to be replaced and the second refused to acknowledge that. The third company did replace it but it took two months to get it resolved with no stove.

Follow up has not been good. My air conditioning broke down a the worst possible time and it took two weeks for them to come and look at the unit, I understand there is a pandemic going on but I am still waiting to get a new motor.

There was a long delay but once the gentleman came out, he was very quick and the problem was fixed. It just took too long to get someone to cover my repair. I called on Monday and didn’t get service until Friday.

I wanted to love Choice Home Warranty, but I can't. I've had the service for over a year and has only used it 3 times. Each time used, I wasn't able to get my items repaired, but only replaced. When items are replaced, they only offer about a 1/3 of what it would cost to replace. The last interaction; service call was $85 and I was offered $246 for my dishwasher replacement. Doing the math thats $161 toward the purchase of a replacement. I took the coverage out to have items fixed, not replaced. I will not be renewing on Nov 5th.

Bought the home warranty to save me money but I just had to pay six hundred and twenty dollars to fix my air conditioning because Choice wouldn’t cover it. They left me hanging. It took me a week to get a hold of the case manager they put on it and when I did get a hold of her she said there was nothing they could do for me because the part that was broken was not covered. I am not happy with them at all. Also I had plumber cancel on me and I had to pay the service fee.

Choice needs to make sure their vendors come in marked vehicles and accept credit cards for payment and not require cash. In the beginning of August, my quote was not working so I called them and they send me an email two weeks later they emailed and said they could not find a technician and I needed to find my own and they later the same day said they had scheduled an appointment for the next week. He repaired one toilet and went to repair the second one but didn’t have to parts so it is not fixed. They haven’t offered to fix my problems. I wish I hadn’t switched to them.
