I was so disappointed in the company I had a dryer that had a problem and choice warranty made it seem like it was my fault months later I had a problem with my air conditioner unit and choice warranty made that my problem My fault that it stopped working and I come to find out that Joyce warranty always finds a way not to fulfill part of the contract Make it the customer's fault so I wouldn't recommend choice warranty to anyone maybe that y'all get better with trying to provide good service for good customers have a great day Thank you

The case Manager called me this morning to advise me that my claim was still denied and BBB ruled in CHW favor. Another false statement. I read the report from BBB and they asked me to respond to CHW ‘s response. I filed my answer with them. This case manager could care less about your clients. I pleaded with her to examine the real reason the pool pump failed and it fell on deaf ears. I sent in a cancellation request this morning. My experience with CHW was not what I expected.

Claimed was made on 6/7/2024 Service diagnosed on 6/17/2024 ,the problem which I already know. Choice home offered replacement on 6/18/2024 with a gift card to LOWES. Reached out to them on 6/22 and still has NOT received the LOWES ‘ gift card. It is almost a mind still w/o working appliances. I would think hard for the future HOME CHOICE warranty

TOOK 2 WEEKS TO GET A TECH TO MY HOUSE AND SERVICE MY AC UNIT WHEN THE TEMPS WERE IN THE 90'S. SO THAT 48 HOUR PROMISE IS A LIE JUST LIKE WHEN I SIGNED UP THE LIE THAT THERE WERE TECHS IN MY AREA. THE TECH THEY FINALLY SENT HAD TO DRIVE 2.5 HOURS TO GET HERE. THEN IT TOOK 2 MORE HOURS FOR THE AUTHORIZATION TO DO THE REPAIR.. THE 5 STAR BELOW IS THE RATING FOR THE TECH NOT I REPEAT NOT FOR CHOICE WARRANTY.

Make you jump through a ton of hoops and push blaim to the manufacturer. Had me do part of their job for them and then they still wouldn't cover my claim or tell me why I had to pay an amount out of pocket. Stay far far far away from this company. Will definitely not be renewing my "coverage" with them. My case manager even hung up the phone on me when I questioned why I need to pay out of pocket.

I filed a claim and after 48 hours you could not find a vendor to handle my claim so I selected the choice to find my own. After I did and you canceled my claim. I have repeatedly tried to contact you to no avail. Every time I would call you gave me a choice to have someone call me back which they never did. I finally gave up which is probably what you were hoping I would do.

I had a terrible experience with this company. The service technicians were rude, talked over me, and failed to explain why they couldn't fix my Whirlpool tub after three attempts. They claimed it wasn't covered under their plan, leaving me with an unresolved issue. I contacted a service in Ohio for a hot water heater issue, they sent an electrician who said I needed a breaker but never returned. Another technician fixed a leak in my refrigerator but only turned off the water source. They offered me $986 for a $4200 refrigerator replacement, still undecided on what to do. Service was unsatisfactory and left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.

The customer service from this company is terrible. I've been waiting over 5 days for a response on a washing machine repair, and they still haven't sent anyone. Every claim I make, they give me the runaround. I used to have American Home Shield, which was slightly more expensive at $100 but much better. They actually took care of problems promptly.

I've had multiple issues with customer support for my dishwasher. The tech fixed the drying problem but said the racks needed replacement due to rust, a health concern. This is the worst home warranty company I’ve ever dealt with. They stopped covering items that had been covered before. Same contract, same appliances, but they just made up lies as to why it was no longer covered. They also sent an insult of a replacement amount for another appliance when they no longer wanted to cover repairs. Horrible customer service. It has been an extreme displeasure dealing with them.

I had to pay $9,800 out of my own pocket towards a new ac when choice home warranty did not help. Choice home warranty denied my claim and said it was from previous damage. I have no idea why they would say that when it was working great until I had to put my claim in ! Even my ac technician’s said Choice Home Warranty is horrible to work with. It's been at least six/seven weeks since we called about two appliances and they are not fixed yet!! The refrigerator is in process of repair but the clothes dryer isn't being attended to! The repair company Affordable TV and Appliance came out evaluated the dryer, collected $65 and has done nothing else. Blames Choice for not approving parts. We're not happy.

Took a long while to get a technician. Tech wanted to replace entire shower faucet, you said no just washers and knobs. Now we have no precise control over the hot and cold water for shower. Drip almost completely fixed and we're still waiting for tech to return to fix the clunking sound hot water makes when faucet is turned on. Did you nix that too?

My built in oven needed to be replaced. and the only offer I got was $549, which I accepted as your representative was rude and abrasive and said that was the most as they only offer wholesale price and they do not offer replacement. She referred me to purchase an "open box" from Best Buy which stated parts were missing. A built in over on sale is close to $1,000, so out of pocket without installation was close to $500.00. What kind of warranty is this?

I can never get through to talk to someone about my coverage or if I need to explain about what going on. The only time I can talk someone when they are try to push renewal. Filing a claim is a lengthy and difficult process. The technician answered the original questions asked by the claims department. They responded with more questions, he responded with answers and for two weeks they’ve been going back-and-forth with questions and answers. Every time he supplies what they need they come back with more questions and still no results. Because of the length of time this is taking, I now have additional repairs that are needed not only to the part in the original claim but surrounding areas.

Very disappointed with a air conditioner repair that was denied. Vibration caused the brackets to break on the fan grill and the fan fell. They claimed that vibration was not normal wear and tear and therefore denied the claim. They were not interested in speaking to the technician directly even though he offered. Really disappointed with the lack of integrity of the claims review and appeals team. They obviously were not interested in hearing the truth as it would have required a major repair of around $850.
