Was very skeptical at first because I read a lot of bad reviews.dryer was not working so I called to place claim and was expecting to have issues getting a response because of reviews I had read but was pleasantly surprised that tech came next day and repaired dryer. This was the first claim I put in and I feel much better now about recommending choice home warranty to others. So far so good 👍🏼

I had two warranty calls within a week! While repairing my furnace, the HVAC contractor noticed my toilet on the first floor was leaking. So I called that day to request a plumber. Both appointments took a few days after I called, but the contactors who responded were polite and helpful. The plumber was even wearing booties without my having to ask.

It was very easy to process my request when my garbage disposal stopped working out of the blue. The following day there was a technician that arrived and thankfully he was able to fix my issue very quickly. I paid my copayment and that was it. I have been lucky with each technician they sent to me over the past several years. As of now, all is well and I would continue with CHW.

When you become a homeowner you have NO idea of underlying issues that don't reveal themselves until you've already signed on the dotted line. There is a sense of peace that comes from not having to worry about forking out hundreds even thousands of dollars when "life happens" and you need something repaired/replaced in your home. That being said, it would be nice to have my current monthly fee grandfathered in. The current rate is almost twice what it was when I signed up two years ago. When your income flexible, every penny saved counts. Other than that I would recommend CHW, unless you have expendable cash lying around.

I have been a very satisfied customer of CHW for years. This call was for my AC system. I was a little disappointed it took 7 days to get the repair done, but that was the fault of the first company that came out that decided to not work the job, so we had to receive a 2nd evaluation. The day the work was performed, the technicians arrived at 3:40 pm and stayed until 11:40 pm on a saturday evening to confirm the system was working properly.

CHW support was immediate and much appreciated. The Technician called and he had a cancellation and came out a week earlier than the appointment. The issue was a clogged clothes dryer duct. While he did clean out the dryer vents and the inside ducts, he said his company does not clean the ducts that extend in the basement and the back of the house. Took his check and left. Could barely speak English. I was out of town so my adult daughter was home and didn’t question the issue. So now I’ve scheduled with a local company for $199 to clean the 25 foot dryer duct that runs to the outside.

No one but God deserves five stars! That being said, CHW was able to negotiate with a veteran and give all possible options that is needed. Hopefully I can update this review once I order service, because it’s inevitable for homeowners. The sales associate was patient and respectful of my need to contact my better half for needing agreement for the purchase of our home warranty. He also informed me that he could give me a better price if did so and so after I agreed to the original agreement. Of course this is good salesmanship and expected, but at least I wasn’t disappointed. All we have to see now is if they are worth their weight in gold! And I can cancel and get my prorated $money$ back if TSHTF! Awesomeness is a “Choice” home warranty!

I was having a ridiculous time with a sears tech coming 20 mins early and then calling and rudely telling us he expects us to be there when he arrives! When told he was 20 mins early, he proceeded to say he could not wait for us and would be leaving. Then never returned, including following day. Neither did 2nd tech they said they would send. I called CHW spoke with IVY and she took care of everything, sent another company at no cost.she was a true example of customer service, unlike Nicole who was short and could care less.

I called yesterday to report my garbage disposal was no longer working. They immediately scheduled an appointment with a tech for today. The tech was here less than 90 minutes, diagnosed it could not repaired and installed a new one. And all I paid was the $75 service fee. Getting a Choice Home Warranty was one of the best decisions I've ever made. This is the second service call I have had to make. Both repairs were made in a timely manner and they always send quality techs that are courteous and never leave a mess for me to clean up. Definitely five star service.

This time they sent out a great repairman to repair my freezer. He was kind, knowledgeable and proficient. He worked for Sears and did a awesome job. The time prior I was not happy at all. The repairman cut two different holes in my closet wall to get to my jacuzzi tub motor. I have to actually pay another visit fee to have someone come and fix the two huge holes. Not happy at all about that. Management said thats the way it is written in rhe contract. Basically you want it fixed for the fee or not. No thanks!

This is the first time I have used CHW and what a pleasant surprise. I called in on a Sunday about a non-running Air conditioner. By Monday morning not only did a schedule a tech to come out but he was at my home by 1 pm. CHW approved of the replacement of my entire AC Heating unit. So far the company has been responsive to claims and we are satisfied with terms of settlement. There were some initial problems with conractors (bad reviews...very low BB ratings etc) but they did reassign when asked to do so. I think they should screne their contractors a little better before accepting them. Communiction not gteat......some responding agents are really not even capable of conversational English...let alone technical....why are we outsourcing? Why did I learn about changr in service fee when I called.....this shoukd have been addressed by an Email to clients. It represents a change in erms of contract. It woukd have been curtious...let alone professional to send notification .

Great to work with. They have a very good automated process for processing claims. Better than other home warranty companies I've worked with, better coverage and better prices. They only frustrating thing is they don't use a standard user ID and password system to login so you can't use a password manager like LastPass or Chrome to help you login. You constantly have to look up your account number.

The tech was courteous and professional. He kept me informed of his progress during the repair. He was not authorized to do the repair; he said it was because of the cost (~$250) and because the washer was fully functional; just noisy. He told me I would have to contact CHW to find out what was next. That was understandable since CHW contracts local Techs to do the work, I thought we were going to have to live with the noise indefinitely because but I was pleasantly surprised by an email from CHW. Great News! We have received the diagnosis on your claim. It is more cost effective to replace your Washer than to repair it. Please click the link below to start the process of replacing your Washer." That was awesome! They will be sending me a Gift Card from Lowe's so I can buy it online. The amount was not enough to cover the cost of a NEW washer due to depreciation from use BUT, I will be able to apply the amount to the cost of the online purchase. Overall, a very good experience. The only reason I gave a four-star rating instead of a five-star was that I have to wait up to 30 days for them to process the gift card. Disappointing but that's all.

Worked well. AC broke evening of day 1. Call CHW and reported the failure the next day (2). Tech company came the next day (3). Next day AC replacement approved (4) and Tech came back for additional specifics. Day 5 got the call that replacemen t unit was ordered and would be installed the following Monday. Only issue is 7 days without AC and house got to 90 without it!!!!

One of the things I like is that they are fast to respond. An appointment was set up right away and the technician communicated to me about his time of arival. So far my experience with CHW has been very positive. I called in a claim on Monday morning and my issue was resolved by Tuesday afternoon. My A/C went out and it was hot in southern Utah. They did a great job of addressing my claim. As far as I know everything was covered minus the service fee that I paid to the repair folks. Barring any hidden issues that might arise I would recommend CHW as a hoe warranty choice.

CHW has never let me down. The tech called at 10am to let me know that he would be there at 11, and he was. He fixed my air conditioner and explained what he did and was doing and advising me how to take care of my unit. He was great! Lawrence LLC. Called AC technician that Choice home Warranty provided for service when they did not show up on Friday last week. They said they had never scheduled the service that Choice home Warranty had sent me in an email. So I sat at home all day Friday without a call and a no-show and my AC is still broken. it has been three weeks since the first visit with the temperature here in Florida over 90° and the heat index of over 100°. Bennet AC apologized for the confusion and scheduled me for the first appointment available. Unfortunately, my appointment coincided with an electrical lightning storm and they had to cancel understandably due to safety concerns but the schedule coordinator got me scheduled first thing Friday morning and I now have air conditioning again. Thank you.

I put in a claim about my air conditioning on Wed. the 21st and was told someomone would come on Mon. the 26th. Then the technician showed up on Thursday the 22nd and fixed it. I was thrilled to have the service done so quickly. This is my second claim. I've also had my refridgerator fixed this year. It took a few days for the technician to come, but it is fixed and working perfectly. I am very satitisfied with Choice Home Warranty so far.

My deductible went from $135.00 for my last service call to $65 with Choice as a senior citizen. I will save $1150 in premiums for the next 6 years with Choice. When I lived in Vegas, I had a 5 rating at all times for CHW. When I bought my home near Reno, I bought a policy for CHW. I filed a claim last Thursday to have my air conditioning repaired. I contacted CHW online daily and called them daily trying to get a technician assigned. I told the people I needed help because I have medical problems. My house was in the 80’s with all my fans running. I’m in my 70’s, and had heart surgery, and have asthma, so heat bothers me a lot. It took a week for CHW to assign a technician to fix my air. Thank goodness its running now. The technician was knowledgeable and very competent. I appreciate him, but I don’t find it ok for it to take a week for me to receive repair for my air conditioner. I have referred 3 people to Choice this year, but after this, I will not be referring friends, as this was not good service.

Our air conditioner stopped working July 3, 2022. I immediately filled out a service request on line and received an email July 4 that a service provider would contact me July 5. He did contact me July 5, arrived when he said he would and immediately saw the problem. He had all the parts on hand and repaired our air conditioner. He was polite, explained what he was repairing and tested the unit to make sure it worked properly. Sam's Super Service Pro did a wonderful job, and our home is cool again!

Choice home warranty is hood about sending someone out but the heat and air companies they send i really don’t think they know what they are doing cause the winter had to run on emergency heat all w winter abx our air still isn’t working right after they came once. It’s 83 degrees in ny house and the air is set on 74. In freaking melting with ceiling fans and oscillating fan going…. It’ was freaking 98 degrees outside and I live in the woods so it could be hotter if we weren’t in the woods… the system it’s right… we’ve had choice for 2 years. The water heater repair person and the dryer person was great but this heating and air people just don’t seem to know what they are doing..

Obviously we were stressed when our AC went out but when we looked at our plan with Choice Home Warranty, we immediately knew it wouldn’t be a huge expense to get it fixed. It was super simple to submit a claim. This happened on a Saturday, so I honestly wasn’t expecting to hear anything until Monday, but we heard first thing on Sunday that one of their in network technicians would be coming to fix it Monday. Absolutely recommend them and will be a long term customer.

I have only had to use Choice Warranty twice but both times my claims were processed in a timely manner and both items was fixed and I only paid the $65.00 fee . … yes , you pay a monthly fee and it adds up but just to have the piece of mind that if something Big happened I would be covered kinda like a life insurance policy as long as the service is good and o have knowledgeable Techs that come out I will stay with them .

I'm starting my 2nd year with CHW. I bought a home and had 2 issues. A water leak and failed gas water heater. Both resolved reasonably fast considering the water leak was July 3rd last year. With the arrival of the summer heat wave, my AC unit failed to keep up with that weather. A Rock Hill Heating and AC company arrived on the second day and resolved the issue. The tech was really good and very friendly.
