The appliance vendors do not honor the Choice appmt schedules in many cases. No one is watching the vendors. The system does not allow you to change vendors when they are not arriving on schedule as given by choice

Failure to follow through. Took weeks to order the part when it was approved the same day the technician came out. I called multiple times and there seemed to be no urgency. Akeya (supervisor) was ineffective and detached. She had multiple opportunities to say we got you covered, but displayed a negative attitude in tbe entire conversation. I hope it was recorded. Very disappointing for my first experience with Choice. And Runyon appliance dropped the ball as well. Fiasco which didn’t need to happen

It was cheaper than the warranty I had before. But cheaper is not always better. Also the age of the appliance or whatever you want to fix has to be a certain age or y'all don't pay for it. Then you prorated and then charge $50 to cancel. Wow!

I don’t like that when I call choice to have a customer service rep or a supervisor call me back no one ever calls me back! So I’ll call back several more times and the person I’m talking to says let me expedite your call it’s all a big LIE,because no one ever picks or call me back!im still waiting for someone to call me back from January 13 and 14 2026 that’s a DAMN shame!

First claim tech did not fix ac contactor. He didnt not return calls. We ended up paying out of pocket for new contactor and thermostate and Choice Warranty did not reimburse and we did not get a refund for $85 service fee. We are out of pocket $85 + $50 + 150. We have an new issue now with pan for inside unit, called for service and they sent the same service Sears tech. We refused his service and was not charged. Awaiting new service tech. Will review when the new service tech comes out.

They gave me a fraction of the cost to replace my range after I had made payments for three years to their company I just thought they could do better. If I had put that money aside myself instead of giving it to them I would have been able to replace my stove and have money left over. I think they are a money grab company. You may have better luck. I have since cancelled my policy with them.

This is a terrible company. They don’t answer their phones. They immediately take the money for the trip charge & do nothing. Ours sat in his truck for 1/2 hour & left. They close out your claim without notice. They don’t fix what you called them for. They say they’ll refer it for approval for repairs & that’s it. Never get back to you. The new scam is they’ll allow you to find your own company to do the work & will reimburse that company then if the repairs have been approved. Do Not do business with this company.

App is easy to use to file a claim. Process is easy to approve or decline non-covered charges. The service providers they use are professional and legit companies. Much better experience with Choice than I had with American Home Shield.

My dryer stopped working, so I contacted Choice Home Warranty. They sent a technician who diagnosed the issue as a bad motor and said he would order the part and replace it. Instead of completing the repair, CHW decided to issue me a gift card to purchase a new dryer. The problem is that they only offered $349 — you cannot buy a comparable dryer anywhere for that amount. On top of that, they told me it would take 30 days before I even received the gift card. That is completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, I have had to do follow up on almost all claims with their customer service before a technician would arrive. Either the assigned company would not show up, call to confirm or both. Very disappointed and will not be renewing our contract!

Many promises were made when I joined the Choice Home Warranty. They made me feel as though I would be treated fairly when in actuality they just wanted my money. I was convinced to join their company and it cost me $5,000+ which is suppose to cover me until 2027. I am sorry I extended myself for so long because the very first attempt I made to use them; I was denied. After that, everytime I use them, it cost me $85 and that's before any services were performed. It cost me over $200 for refrigerator repair and finally they sent me a voucher that wasn't even enough to cover the cost.

Disappointed with the way my claim to fix toilet flush leak in to toilet. Inspite of requesting the tech from Capri Engineering, to replace the canister valve, the tech insisted and replace the inlet float valve in to the flush tank, which did not fix the issue. When I gave this info to Choice they asked Capri to send their tech. The Ownee, Mark whom I called said he will bring dye to test leakage, and cane without any thing. Asked me if I hv food color to use, which I did. It hv. He waited for 5 min and sad he does not see any leakage and made VERY RUDE remarks that I was nitpicking !!! I asked him how does he concncludevtgat without testing with the dye which he was to bring and test and told him that I hv no time to keep complaining if the issue was fixed. He apparently reported to Choice that the issue is fixed!!!? I complied to ur.Cust device, so I was sent a link to access and fix appointment with ur specialist. The specialist just would not take my word that the issue still persisted. Eventually I was frustrated and tried and fixed it my self. I can send you proofs of receipt of canister valve that I bought from Lowe’s and replaced myself, looking at a YouTube video!! Incurred $22 for the same in addition to waste of all my time pushing my claim. Very very disappointed and frustrated with the rude attitude of Capri Engg owner and your totally useless support!!! VEEY VERT VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Wonder whether you would care to reimburse the cost of canister valve, if I send you the receipt from Lowe’s?

I have placed several calls to Choice Home Warranty and the recording always promises a call back but I've never gotten any call backs I don't see any messages sent to me and there are no voicemail messages I am not showing any return calls I'm not quite sure what the problem is in the past I've always been able to call and get a live person on the phone but something must have changed because I don't seem to be able to get a live person on the phone just the promise from the recording that someone will call me back and there have been no call back that day the following day or at any point up until now so I'm very disappointed with this

The company lulls you into a false sense of security. I’ve been with them for 5 years and recently had my furnace breakdown. The repair company that was sent in informed Choice Home Warranty that the entire furnace needed to be replaced. I was informed there would be a$2000.00 out of pocket expense for uncovered services. So much for peace of mind knowing you’re covered if something in your house breaks down. What a bunch of BS!! I don not recommend this company. You can get the same coverage with other home warranty companies and not be blind sided when you file a claim. Good riddance!!

I would not work with choice. We switched to them because of the rate but this is an example of you get what you pay for… had an issue with our washer they couldn’t find anyone… had an issue with plumbing… they couldn’t find anyone… we even asked a repair guy and he said they won’t deal with choice because it’s too difficult to get paid. We switched back to AHS. I understand choice will pay you back for the repairs since they can’t find a tech but again the hoops and I don’t want to fix it… that’s why I pay for the coverage. Glad to be back with AHS cause they actually do have techs.
