My pipes were clogged and it took a week to get A Plumber out to my house and it wasn’t fixed . The plumber left and it took another 4 days to get them out again and still didn’t fix my problem. I was out of service for over 2 weeks. I called another plumber and paid out of pocket. To get the problem resolved.

I just thought I had the premiere of policies when I spent over $7000 renewing my policies only to find that having a clog in a drain was not covered today. I am so upset because having older homes as my personal residence and rentals and paying for what I thought would be top-of-the-line policies only to be denied is terrible. At this moment I would not refer Choice.

Choice Home Warranty is a good, reliable company. But the subcontractors sometimes do not do the job, charge $75.00, promise to mail you a receipt, which never happens, and never come back. This just happened on February 3.2026. Claim #319141082. He only took a picture and left. This was B2U Preventive Maintenance. Please help, I am not able to take a shower. Horrible customer service who are not reliable, not responding to the emails and are not refunding the money spent for buying and rectifying a water pump via a plumbing company. No appointment made for 9 days in a row despite it was an emergency. The same situation it was with an arconditiopning motor which we had to wait for over 2 weeks in the summer.

Thought I was going to have a pleasant experience. Turns oit it's all money making. They came to "repair" my machine, the guy told them nothing was wrong, that I needed a plumber. I had the plumber come out, he did what they suggested. Machine STILL isn't working correctly, still getting an error code, and choice home warranty is telling me I have to open a new claim. HORRIBLE, especially when the 1st issue wasn't fixed.

This was my first claim, I thought ice maker was covered. First a guy came out and said it was a plumbing issue, he couldn't fix it. It took about a month to get him to come out, I thought what if it was a refrigerator, The plumber came out and said I had to pay $245 ontop of $75 for each repairman. It cost me $395 total and plumber said I couldhave saved $100 if I did not have a warranty. Not happy!!

Absolute trash. Would not recommend. They find every way out to not replace appliances and not pay. They straight up refused to replace my water heater. Told me they would reimburse me $100 for a call out fee - then they had "no record" of that (even though they record every call) and refused to reimburse me. Now we are dealing with a fridge replacement which has been the biggest headache as they don't want to pay for anything! Save you headache and your money and go elsewhere. They are liars and scammers

I put in a claim for my central heating unit on 1/142026. The Serviceman can out and couldn’t find anything wrong. Now today it’s running and cutting off again and blowing cold air. I tried to file a new claim but the previous claim is less than 30-days so it was reopened. I called and spoke with a Rep and told that I would be charged another $100 for the same issue. I change my payment from my Chase Debt card to my Citibank Credit and now I have a $100 service charge pending on both cards. Every time I file claim I have a problem.
