The price is amazing for all that it covers and the claim process couldn’t be any easier. I would HIGHLY recommend Choice Home Warranty for anyone who has any type of appliances/hot water heaters/gas fireplaces/HVAC/sump pump or almost anything else you can think of and are responsible for its repair. A flat fee for a service call with a repair or replace policy. If you file a claim, they send out a tech to repair or replace the product, but if it requires multiple visits, it is all covered under the flat fee you had already paid. I bought another house and the first thing I did was get a policy for the new house, but I did much of anything else. I wouldn’t own or rent without coverage from Choice Home Warranty!!!

I was very pleased with the rapid response by Choice Home Warranty when my washer developed a leak! They contracted with a very reputable home service company that once specialized in my washer brand. Sears Home Service inspected my washer, determined the problem, ordered parts which were delivered to my home, & the same technician returned to complete the repair! The total repair was completed in 2 weeks! This is significant as I live in Hawaii where everything takes longer (shipping, appointments, etc.) I was also impressed with the technician’s professionalism & capability. All done! Thank you, Choice Home Warranty!

I am so impressed with this company and their chosen contractors. I was hesitant to purchase a warranty but it has paid off already!. Filing claim is easy and response and approval fast. I recommend this company highly. The contractor Jonathan from Air Infinity did an excellent job installing my HVAC system and went above and beyond to help me with the whole process. He has genuine concern for his clients and desire to perform his best for them. Finding a young man with such ethic and devotion is refreshing and a blessing to his clients. I disliked the fact that I had to wait over 2 weeks for service to my heating and air conditioning . The problem was no one in my area to fix the unit, but overall they did fix it and I was pleased. I would recommend Choice to all, as I have been with them for about 10 years maybe longer. I have had about 7 calls for service and it has been about 50/50 for repairs made to my satisfaction or they have replaced such things as hot water heater, garbage disposal, washing machine and microwave over the stove . I have already recommended Choice to family members and friends as I have had nothing but positive experiences with them

For the first time, I had to use my warranty service for a leaking water pipe. I was impressed that there were several ways to contact Choice - online, telephone, emails. Within a day, CHoice had lined up a company to fix my leak and within another day, the company had contacted me to set up my appointment. The company assigned was rated 4.6 out of 5 starts - I was grateful since my last warranty company assigned a repair company with a 1.6 rating and it took 9 days to get to my house to fix my problem. The repair company for my leak came as they said they would and fixed my leak quickly and professionally. I was very pleased with everything - the interactions with Choice, the timing and friendliness of the repair company, and the follow up by Choice.

There were two different visits from two different service techs. Both techs were friendly, cordial and efficient with the washer task. First one diagnosed the issue and ordered a drain pump. The second installed the pump. Just about all is great with the Choice Home Warranty except: I would prefer that the appointment time specified on the CHW site would be more precise. In my case when I received the email before the service date (and later went to the site) it specified the appointment time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It would be better if appointment was narrowed down to a more specific time. As both my wife and I both work we cannot just take a entire day off. But if a more specific time was specified, say for instance 2 PM, then we could leave for our house before the appointment time and be there when the tech arrives as opposed to being at home all day waiting to see what time the tech arrives. Other than that everything else was good.

Whenever I called, they always answered my questions, even though I didn't agree with them. I used it just recently because there was a plumbing issue in the guest bathroom and the water went into the closet, into the back bedroom. And I thought that Choice Home Warranty would send someone to maybe suck up the water and clean the carpet in there, and they didn't. I guess that wasn't part of the plan. They fixed the issue and the person was very nice and everything and the issue is resolved. I used Choice to replace a ceiling fan and the technician was wonderful. It's just that when the technician called his boss about my ceiling fan, he had the boss on speakerphone, and you know what the boss said? He said, "Go to Lowe's and get the cheapest ceiling fan you can find." And I heard him and I got hot, I got really upset about that. I said, "No, you go to wherever you go and you get a ceiling fan just like the one that you're taking down." So they did put one in just like the one that they took down and everything's been working fine since then.

I've never spoken to anyone personally. I've always gone online. I had one claim and I just went online and took care of it. I used my warranty when we had a really bad cold spell here. The heater wasn't heating the house. I called them and told them I needed someone to come and check it because it wasn't working and it was really cold during that time. And they set up an appointment and emailed me the information. I was a little aggravated because we didn't have any heat. And it was so cold, but I understood that everybody probably was having problems with their heater when we had that cold spell. So, the guy did call me that they got to come out and said he had an appointment and that he would come out right away. So he did come earlier than the appointment that was scheduled. He was awesome, he looked at everything, he knew exactly right away what the problem was, he had the part with him. He fixed it, a super professional man, and got it started working, it started heating up immediately. So with setting up the service, I was at first I was disappointed because we were cold, and we had to wait, but then all of a sudden he got somebody to come and he called and we got in quicker. So it was really a positive experience after all.

We needed to replace our in-wall air conditioning and heating unit last year. And initially, I sent in the claim and because of the company that they had sent to our house, it took several months before it was resolved. And finally, it turned out fine. We did get a new unit for our wall unit, so it turned out fine. It just took, it took 4 or 5 months to get it settled. They came in and worked on the clothes dryer, and everything was great there. As for the warranty company itself, yes, they gave us the parts we needed to complete the claims. So everything with the warranty company was fine. It was just that we had one trouble with the heating and air conditioning company that came out.

I've used it 2 times. The first time, it wasn't all that good, and the second time, it was just a good experience. I didn't have to call in customer support. I just opened a ticket online, and I just followed up on the status online. I had to use it earlier for my refrigerator, and they asked me to contact the manufacturer and get it fixed through the manufacturer. So I was able to get it done. I've just used it 2 times. And the second time, it was just a good experience. The first time, it wasn't all that good. So I'll just give it some more time before I make any comments. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

I had some electrical issues in my house. I had a whole wall that didn't work. So I would say about ten outlets that did not work. And I was pretty sure they're on the same power breaker, but I wasn't for sure. So I called a professional through Choice. I called Choice and Choice found me a professional. And he did a great job. Problem solved, everything works. They just made it simple. They text message, email, whatever. They did a great job. I used to be a customer of American Home Shield for over 21 years, but their co-pays got up to $100. And the monthly bill was $100, so I'm getting the same coverage at Choice for $60 to $50 a month. And the co-pays are only $75. So that's a big deal to me.

They are always responsive and resolve problems. Other than providing excellent service, I would have to comment that it is at a very good value. We, for many years, used another famous home warranty company and at the suggestion of a friend we switched to Choice. It was essentially half the cost and much, much better service. We have used the warranty several times in the past few months, just file the claim online and within 24 hours, there was a response. And usually within a few days, we had a technician come and work on the issue. And in non-urgent situations, the issue got resolved within the latest within 2 weeks.

I have had Choice 2x times, 1 at 4 years and 6 months bonus and another at another 3 years and 6 months and both times had coverage that more than paid what was covered for all the appliances and certain things that breakdown in the house from leakage of showers in the second floor to plumbing in the toilets and sinks, to most of my appliances that were fixed or if not, given a credit to purchase another appliance from clothes washers, to dishwasher to microwave. I highly recommend them. AC is not much coverage really under specific terms so I don't rely on them for that. They are a solid company and back up most coverages. Oh yes and I just change my failing garage opener that was covered. They also do coverage on the springs of the garage I hear if that ever fails.

I like them so much. The last appointment that I made was for a refrigerator malfunction. My refrigerator stopped working and with the gentleman who was supposed to come out, I had to cancel it because it was still under warranty with LG. He spent some time with me on the phone and he went through a whole bunch of things with me. He was very helpful without even coming out. I had to cancel the appointment, but he called anyway to make sure and was extremely informative. He also gave me a lot of good information about the actual LG refrigerator that I had. So I was impressed with the customer service I got.

My first claim was a disaster as they denied the claim a day before the service man was suppose to be here. Once I got this corrected after 3 phone calls. The service man was here on time and was very professional but had to go back to company if they would approve it. Came back after and got clock working but the main call for light staying on after you turn stove off was not done although this was what my original phone call was about. Will try again later to see if I can get this fixed. 2nd claim was quick and easy although he charged me for a new remote which I expected but he also charged me for the small wheel the cable for the garage door goes up and down on. Garage door is working beautifully and I am satisfied.

I had an excellent technician who fixed my heater by installing a new motor. I would use this man again. He was professional and knowledgeable. What I dont LIKE I filled out your survey and gave high ratings, but when i wrote my response there were not 50= words. It wouldnt let me submit it. It took much longer than the 2 minutes I finally said, " the hell with it" and didnt submit it because I couldn't until I wrote 50 words. That is not right. You should accept what people say and not put a limit on the number of words. I am angry about that and it will effect if I continue with Choice or not

I was very please with the service and quickness when I put a claim for service for one of the showers in my house that was not working . No hot water was coming out. I called 12/20/2023 and was told by the agent that I would be called within 24-48 hours from the business that would take my claim. That same night Oasis Plumbing & Drain Service, Inc., texted me that I was schedule for 12/22/2023 between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. I had a question and text Oasis plumbing. I was told that if they had a cancellation they could possibly be there today 10/21/2023, I told them it was okay on Friday, this was at 11:25am. I was surprised when I received a call at 3:28pm letting me know they were on their way if it was okay with me. I was and the technician that came was very professional, knowledgeable, fast and after he finished he left my bathroom as it was before, very clean. My shower works perfectly now.

Amazing Service! From the time I submitted a claim for my washer, it took 1.5 days, and my washer was fixed! KMT Appliance Repair Service, technician named Kevine, did a fantastic job! He was attentive, responded to my call, and adjusted his schedule to mine. He diagnosed the problem very fast, the drainage pump was broken, hence the washer was unable to rinse the water. The job wasn’t easy, but Kevine came prepared, with all the necessary parts. It took few hours, as my washer and dryer were one on top of each other, hence needed to bring down the heavy dryer, then move the appliances, and replaced the parts, and fix it all. Then put it all back together and place it back. I was amazed and so grateful for the fast respond and for fixing the issue. I am grateful for Choice home warranty for making the process so easy and efficient. I am a costomer of CHW many years, had several claimes, and they did a fantastic job. Every claim was handled fast, and most importantly the issues were resolved.

Choice Home Warranty has been great, so far. I’ve had to contact them twice and they really respond quickly! The technicians they send out are very good and have taken care of my issues in a timely manner. Both have been very nice, as well. I did business with American Home Shield for 7 years; WHAT A MISTAKE! I never got to talk to a real person (all was done online) to explain what my problem was. They had to come out several times because the technicians weren’t very knowledgeable and acted like they didn’t care. They put bad-aids on my HVAC several times but never really fixed it. When I needed it replaced, they REFUSED TO PAY! That’s when I dropped them like a hot potato and changed to Choice Home Warranty. I highly recommend Choice home Warranty!

We have been using Choice for 2.5 years with two homes in CA and MI. each claim has been dealt with promptly and for the most part efficiently. Their claims specialists have always been very courteous and have done their utmost to ensure that a fix was made of the issue. We had one exception with our refrigerator recently, but that was due to parts needed taking time to be delivered. Our most recent experience with our furnace not heating properly required three attempts with different techs to fix the problem, but CHW was patient in finding one who could provide the proper fix and now our furnace is running like new!

When I have a home maintenance problem they are usually significant. For example, my A/C unit not functioning, plumbing leaking or clogged up, or an electrical promlem. To me these are serious problems. With Choice Home Warranty, I am at peace. I simple email/call in,,, complete a service request and have a professional sent out usually in 24 hours or less. They come in and quickly diagnose and resolve the problem. In situation, where it requires equipment replacement it's usually taken care of in about a few days. The most wonderful thing here is the cost. Trust me, Choice Home Warranty do what they say while saing you money, time and aggravation.

We've used the warranty several times. The last one was dealing with our heating and air unit. We have maintenance twice a year and the guy was telling us that there was a leak in one of the coils and so my husband sent something to Choice Warranty and said hey, something's going on with it because we noticed it wasn't working as good. Choice Warranty sent this other guy and I really liked him. He was so knowledgeable and he went upstairs and he looked at it and he said, this is what's going on. Then he called the company. He did what he needed to do and we've not had any issues and it has been extremely cold. So that's good. So far they've been very trustworthy.

I like the ease to file a claim and the and professional service to get repairs completed in a timely manner. Overall, very happy and pleased with CHW! My one dislike is when I our dishwasher failed. CHW made the decision to replace the unit, which was much appreciated. However, unlike any other claim, CHW issued me a Lowe's E-gift certificate to purchase to a new one(which only became available after 30 days.) We couldn't wait 30 days to replace the dishwater, so we purchased one with our own funds. Six months later, I still have money left on the E-gift certificate. As mentioned earlier, unlike any other claim, I had to order the dishwater from Lowes, was responsible for the installation fee and disposable of the old unit. I'm expecting a turn key process with CHW and didn't receive it with this claim. I was very disappointed and taken back the way this claim was handled. I hope this is not the new norm for taking care of your valued customers. I would appreciate CHW contacting me regarding this matter.

Well, Choice really is top-of-the-line. They said someone to fix our toilet and they accomplished their mission. They sent someone to fix the water on a refrigerator and they accomplished their mission. They ordered a part and fixed our refrigerator which did not have the refrigerator or the freezer working and it is ice cold now. So everything they’ve come to do they have done very very well. We had a company named Pride here locally for six years and I am here to tell you that every time someone came, they would say either they couldn’t fix it or it wasn’t in our contract. There were no deductibles, but it was just awful. I spoke to the owner of the company several times they’ve been in business for many many years. I wrote him so many emails, but nothing changed. When I read the reviews for Choice, I knew this was the company I needed whether I had to pay a co-pay or not, it has been well worth it.

We are very happy with everything from Choice Home Warranty. They take their due diligence to make sure that the customer is happy. We have used a warranty three times. First time when our washer broke, second time when our dryer broke, third time when we had a leakage in our bathroom. The fourth time we had our dishwasher not working and the next time it was the disposal that was not working. We do have to be very vigilant about the vendors they choose, as some of the service providers which they hire have very good qualities, but we had an experience with one of the service providers which I will not reuse. I requested that they change the plumber they send.

I only used them once and there was no problem. It was good. But I think they need to put their number, making it easier to talk to a person than to just use the website because not all issues can be handled by clicking a box. Only issue I had was they did not make it easy to call them. They wanted you to use the website and I had more than one issue going on in the home at the time. And so there was no way to say. I have two issues going on, on the website. It's like you pick one thing and that was it. And they were both related - plumbing issues - but I could only tell them about one issue. So that means that if I only use the website, then I can only have one issue addressed when the servicemen came out. So that meant I had to call them and as I recall, I had issues trying to find the correct customer service number to call them. There was one number I found on the Internet and it wasn't their number, but it was assigned to them, but it was no longer working. And then I eventually did find their phone number. I think I had to look up the original contract and I found the phone number in the contract. When I finally reached somebody, the actual customer support person did a good job, but trying to get to that point wasn't so good.

They've always appeared to have gone above and beyond anytime that I needed them with no pushbacks. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of it as we speak with my air conditioner. I live in Arizona and air conditioning is crucial this time of year and it just happened to go out a few days ago. So I'm still waiting on my technician. The appointment has been set and that will be Friday, but I had two previous claims with them. One was for a swimming pool pump and then the other was for a faulty bathroom faucet. As far as the swimming pool pump goes, they replaced it without hesitation which was a tremendous savings to me. And the faucet they authorized a full replacement as opposed to a fix due to the age and the condition. So I'm very satisfied with all of those transactions. As long as they continue to be as good as they have been to me, I will continue to be a client.

Normally when you call, it always sends you to the automated message so you never can actually get to a live person. I think they also need to allow people to - if they get a service provider - to let them choose that service provider again, because a lot of times what happens is when they send a different service provider and they don't really know the equipment. It takes them a lot longer to fix your issue. Right now I'm using my warranty. I had an air conditioning issue. They're still coming back out tomorrow to fix. They're paying for the parts and then I have to pay for the additional Freon for it. It has paid for itself over time though.

There's only been one one incident where I wasn't real happy, but that didn't really have anything to do with Choice, it had to do with the technician that was sent out. There was an occasion when I needed to get an A/C repairman out very quickly and I called to find out if I could use the same one I had gotten before. And because of your protocol, you couldn't just assign it just to a preferential person and but you told me that I could call them and give them my case number and that they could call and talk to them and say that they had expected it. Which I thought was really fantastic because I had really liked that service man because he had been out there before so he was fully trusted. I do have one question: I noticed when I went in to do a claim that it said that my contract expired in December of this year. What contract?

They've been on top of it every time I have needed them. Most recently I had my sink disposal quit working and they they showed up in a very timely manner and as it turned out, they were able to fix it without replacing it. So all I had to do was pay for the service fee, but there was nothing else I could do about that. So far there have been no negative surprises. They've done what they said they're going to do in a timely manner and that's all I'm looking for. It's a little pricey, but at the same time, if something really does go wrong, all I got to pay is a $75 service fee, and that's what insurance is for.

I'm happy so far with the company and the service that I'm getting. I'm paying less than what I was paying before with a different company and I still got the same rate coverages. They are pretty quick in responding to me and whenever we have an issue, they're good at getting back to us promptly. I used it for our drain that was clogged in a shower. They came out like the next day we had an issue with our dryer and they came out pretty quickly and fixed that the same day. We did have an issue with our air conditioner, but that took two weeks for someone to come out. So that was difficult but other than that, on average it worked out.

The rep is awesome! The vendor options sometimes are challenging. I normally dont have so many problems, but the last two claims, the vendors response and solution time is horrible. I had a simple garage door opener issue, I think that claim was open 5 weeks. Then they kept calling to schedule time to come, and end up being a no call no show. Same with AC company, i think 7 weeks with no AC working, every time I open a claim its a new company so they have to start from scratch. Overall, I think more oversight on quality vendors and possibly if one like a plumber or electrician, ect, has been at the house once and customer has apprecieated thier help, then maybe choice can assign that one so in the future if something happens, it will be a familiar face to a familiar home. Last winter I was left with no motor in my heater, I had had like 3 furnace companies come so we couldn't narrow down what had happened. I would be happy to discuss more. I am a real estate agent, and this is the ONLY warranty I push, and it's mainly becasse the sells rep is fair, if we have issues, he is hands on and will jump on board and see to resolution.

There was the hose in the dishwasher that started leaking. So we put in the claim and the person came out to fix it and he had to come back because he was an hour late getting here, which is okay I don't mind that. He needed a part anyway. He looked at the hoses and one of the hoses had a big tear in it and so he had to of course get another one. Choice called me back to say they wouldn't cover it, that it wasn't normal wear and tear. I still have a broken dishwasher. They weren't supportive at all. I've had my contracts for over a year. I paid religiously every month and then when I go to use them, they won't stand behind it.

I think it's a great service for the money that they charge. It works out great that everything gets taken care of. I've used them across several states and it always works out okay. Every technician they've sent to us knows what they're doing and it fixed the problem. A month ago we had a problem with the dishwasher where it was not working. They sent out the repair man and it turned out it wasn't piped up right into the disposal. So things were coming back from the disposal, back into the dishwasher. So he fixed that and got rid of the problem and now it's working fine. They're always very direct and clear about what goes on and they set up everything to make it work, so I've had no problems with them.

My A/C went out in the middle of January in Alabama. It was real hot and I called Choice and they had somebody there within about 24 hours and it came to a situation where it wasn't covered, but they did offer me some discounts and some other type of assistance. Other warranty companies that I've been been been with, they keep you on hold for long. They do not respond when you leave a message on their website. Choice is the opposite. they do not keep you on hold for long. And if they do keep you on hold for long, they offer the call back service. Their customer service is outstanding. They know what they're talking about. They know the rules that they know everything about the company. So I'm comfortable with Choice Home Warranty. I have two properties under them and I'll never, I'll never switch.

They are prompt in acknowledging the claim and prompt in assigning the claim. I recently had a water leak in the wall and Choice assigned a plumber right away and then mitigation people came in for the repairs. The plumber who was assigned did not follow through on quotes or was not available for phone calls. So from the standpoint of that plumber Desert Rain, it was very unsatisfactory. Another plumber was excellent, from J&L. He was good with communication, showing up on time, quality of work. Desert Rain was not satisfactory. They were not available for phone calls, and we're not available to answer questions about a quote they gave me to repair the leaking, the leaking pipe. I would not recommend Desert Rain.

They've sent excellent external associates. It is definitely worth the value. Everything I've done with them has been excellent service from getting somebody to me and being willing to have a conversation to answer all my questions. We just used it a couple of weeks ago. I had an air conditioner problem. They found a consultant that was close by the property. They said that they would send someone out in 48 hours and the guy called and went to set the time for the appointment and I told them any time during that day but if they wanted to come the day before they could and they showed up early. Every time I've called they've been very responsive and and have somebody get out right away.

So far they've been very, very, very good for me as a home warranty. Anytime I've had a call or a claim very rarely do I speak to an individual. It's usually handled all online, but whenever I have spoken to someone, they've just been very helpful, very professional, very easy to work with. Just recently I had to use my warranty on a garbage disposal and the drain clog and I thought my garbage disposal was shot, but it wasn't. The technician was there maybe 25 minutes and had both circumstances fixed. It was just excellent. I've had one vendor that I did not like and would not recommend anybody, and other than that, everybody's been great. I think I've used my service probably 8 times.

Have been a customer with Choice Warranty since 2018. Claims have been addressed to satisfaction for most of the time. Since Choice home warranty uses local contractors for addressing the issues, it may take some time for a claim to be picked up by a technician. Also, the appointments could be available only after a couple of days depending on the type of request. However, calling the Company which picked up the request sometimes helps getting an earlier date. While my recent experience has been bad with the AC issue not being resolved even after 2 weeks due to the poor customer service from the company which picked up the claim, my earlier experiences have been good. I would definitely recommend Choice Home Warranty to my friends.

I had a chance to go visit them with what I thought was a complaint and they cleared it up completely and showed me that they were a trustworthy and honorable company. My furnace or air conditioning made a very loud squeak. And initially someone told me there that I was not qualified for the warranty. I actually stopped at the headquarters and I talked to the the manager and then he brought out his HVAC specialist who was terrific and he said no, we made an initial mistake on yours, we'll cover it. And he told me exactly what was wrong and it was a bearing going bad and it was totally fixed to my complete satisfaction.
