I've used it 2 times. The first time, it wasn't all that good, and the second time, it was just a good experience. I didn't have to call in customer support. I just opened a ticket online, and I just followed up on the status online. I had to use it earlier for my refrigerator, and they asked me to contact the manufacturer and get it fixed through the manufacturer. So I was able to get it done. I've just used it 2 times. And the second time, it was just a good experience. The first time, it wasn't all that good. So I'll just give it some more time before I make any comments. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

I had some electrical issues in my house. I had a whole wall that didn't work. So I would say about ten outlets that did not work. And I was pretty sure they're on the same power breaker, but I wasn't for sure. So I called a professional through Choice. I called Choice and Choice found me a professional. And he did a great job. Problem solved, everything works. They just made it simple. They text message, email, whatever. They did a great job. I used to be a customer of American Home Shield for over 21 years, but their co-pays got up to $100. And the monthly bill was $100, so I'm getting the same coverage at Choice for $60 to $50 a month. And the co-pays are only $75. So that's a big deal to me.

We are very happy with everything from Choice Home Warranty. They take their due diligence to make sure that the customer is happy. We have used a warranty three times. First time when our washer broke, second time when our dryer broke, third time when we had a leakage in our bathroom. The fourth time we had our dishwasher not working and the next time it was the disposal that was not working. We do have to be very vigilant about the vendors they choose, as some of the service providers which they hire have very good qualities, but we had an experience with one of the service providers which I will not reuse. I requested that they change the plumber they send.

They've always appeared to have gone above and beyond anytime that I needed them with no pushbacks. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of it as we speak with my air conditioner. I live in Arizona and air conditioning is crucial this time of year and it just happened to go out a few days ago. So I'm still waiting on my technician. The appointment has been set and that will be Friday, but I had two previous claims with them. One was for a swimming pool pump and then the other was for a faulty bathroom faucet. As far as the swimming pool pump goes, they replaced it without hesitation which was a tremendous savings to me. And the faucet they authorized a full replacement as opposed to a fix due to the age and the condition. So I'm very satisfied with all of those transactions. As long as they continue to be as good as they have been to me, I will continue to be a client.

There's only been one one incident where I wasn't real happy, but that didn't really have anything to do with Choice, it had to do with the technician that was sent out. There was an occasion when I needed to get an A/C repairman out very quickly and I called to find out if I could use the same one I had gotten before. And because of your protocol, you couldn't just assign it just to a preferential person and but you told me that I could call them and give them my case number and that they could call and talk to them and say that they had expected it. Which I thought was really fantastic because I had really liked that service man because he had been out there before so he was fully trusted. I do have one question: I noticed when I went in to do a claim that it said that my contract expired in December of this year. What contract?

I only used them once and there was no problem. It was good. But I think they need to put their number, making it easier to talk to a person than to just use the website because not all issues can be handled by clicking a box. Only issue I had was they did not make it easy to call them. They wanted you to use the website and I had more than one issue going on in the home at the time. And so there was no way to say. I have two issues going on, on the website. It's like you pick one thing and that was it. And they were both related - plumbing issues - but I could only tell them about one issue. So that means that if I only use the website, then I can only have one issue addressed when the servicemen came out. So that meant I had to call them and as I recall, I had issues trying to find the correct customer service number to call them. There was one number I found on the Internet and it wasn't their number, but it was assigned to them, but it was no longer working. And then I eventually did find their phone number. I think I had to look up the original contract and I found the phone number in the contract. When I finally reached somebody, the actual customer support person did a good job, but trying to get to that point wasn't so good.

Normally when you call, it always sends you to the automated message so you never can actually get to a live person. I think they also need to allow people to - if they get a service provider - to let them choose that service provider again, because a lot of times what happens is when they send a different service provider and they don't really know the equipment. It takes them a lot longer to fix your issue. Right now I'm using my warranty. I had an air conditioning issue. They're still coming back out tomorrow to fix. They're paying for the parts and then I have to pay for the additional Freon for it. It has paid for itself over time though.

They've been on top of it every time I have needed them. Most recently I had my sink disposal quit working and they they showed up in a very timely manner and as it turned out, they were able to fix it without replacing it. So all I had to do was pay for the service fee, but there was nothing else I could do about that. So far there have been no negative surprises. They've done what they said they're going to do in a timely manner and that's all I'm looking for. It's a little pricey, but at the same time, if something really does go wrong, all I got to pay is a $75 service fee, and that's what insurance is for.

I'm happy so far with the company and the service that I'm getting. I'm paying less than what I was paying before with a different company and I still got the same rate coverages. They are pretty quick in responding to me and whenever we have an issue, they're good at getting back to us promptly. I used it for our drain that was clogged in a shower. They came out like the next day we had an issue with our dryer and they came out pretty quickly and fixed that the same day. We did have an issue with our air conditioner, but that took two weeks for someone to come out. So that was difficult but other than that, on average it worked out.

The rep is awesome! The vendor options sometimes are challenging. I normally dont have so many problems, but the last two claims, the vendors response and solution time is horrible. I had a simple garage door opener issue, I think that claim was open 5 weeks. Then they kept calling to schedule time to come, and end up being a no call no show. Same with AC company, i think 7 weeks with no AC working, every time I open a claim its a new company so they have to start from scratch. Overall, I think more oversight on quality vendors and possibly if one like a plumber or electrician, ect, has been at the house once and customer has apprecieated thier help, then maybe choice can assign that one so in the future if something happens, it will be a familiar face to a familiar home. Last winter I was left with no motor in my heater, I had had like 3 furnace companies come so we couldn't narrow down what had happened. I would be happy to discuss more. I am a real estate agent, and this is the ONLY warranty I push, and it's mainly becasse the sells rep is fair, if we have issues, he is hands on and will jump on board and see to resolution.

There was the hose in the dishwasher that started leaking. So we put in the claim and the person came out to fix it and he had to come back because he was an hour late getting here, which is okay I don't mind that. He needed a part anyway. He looked at the hoses and one of the hoses had a big tear in it and so he had to of course get another one. Choice called me back to say they wouldn't cover it, that it wasn't normal wear and tear. I still have a broken dishwasher. They weren't supportive at all. I've had my contracts for over a year. I paid religiously every month and then when I go to use them, they won't stand behind it.

I think it's a great service for the money that they charge. It works out great that everything gets taken care of. I've used them across several states and it always works out okay. Every technician they've sent to us knows what they're doing and it fixed the problem. A month ago we had a problem with the dishwasher where it was not working. They sent out the repair man and it turned out it wasn't piped up right into the disposal. So things were coming back from the disposal, back into the dishwasher. So he fixed that and got rid of the problem and now it's working fine. They're always very direct and clear about what goes on and they set up everything to make it work, so I've had no problems with them.

They are prompt in acknowledging the claim and prompt in assigning the claim. I recently had a water leak in the wall and Choice assigned a plumber right away and then mitigation people came in for the repairs. The plumber who was assigned did not follow through on quotes or was not available for phone calls. So from the standpoint of that plumber Desert Rain, it was very unsatisfactory. Another plumber was excellent, from J&L. He was good with communication, showing up on time, quality of work. Desert Rain was not satisfactory. They were not available for phone calls, and we're not available to answer questions about a quote they gave me to repair the leaking, the leaking pipe. I would not recommend Desert Rain.

They've sent excellent external associates. It is definitely worth the value. Everything I've done with them has been excellent service from getting somebody to me and being willing to have a conversation to answer all my questions. We just used it a couple of weeks ago. I had an air conditioner problem. They found a consultant that was close by the property. They said that they would send someone out in 48 hours and the guy called and went to set the time for the appointment and I told them any time during that day but if they wanted to come the day before they could and they showed up early. Every time I've called they've been very responsive and and have somebody get out right away.

My A/C went out in the middle of January in Alabama. It was real hot and I called Choice and they had somebody there within about 24 hours and it came to a situation where it wasn't covered, but they did offer me some discounts and some other type of assistance. Other warranty companies that I've been been been with, they keep you on hold for long. They do not respond when you leave a message on their website. Choice is the opposite. they do not keep you on hold for long. And if they do keep you on hold for long, they offer the call back service. Their customer service is outstanding. They know what they're talking about. They know the rules that they know everything about the company. So I'm comfortable with Choice Home Warranty. I have two properties under them and I'll never, I'll never switch.

So far they've been very, very, very good for me as a home warranty. Anytime I've had a call or a claim very rarely do I speak to an individual. It's usually handled all online, but whenever I have spoken to someone, they've just been very helpful, very professional, very easy to work with. Just recently I had to use my warranty on a garbage disposal and the drain clog and I thought my garbage disposal was shot, but it wasn't. The technician was there maybe 25 minutes and had both circumstances fixed. It was just excellent. I've had one vendor that I did not like and would not recommend anybody, and other than that, everybody's been great. I think I've used my service probably 8 times.

Have been a customer with Choice Warranty since 2018. Claims have been addressed to satisfaction for most of the time. Since Choice home warranty uses local contractors for addressing the issues, it may take some time for a claim to be picked up by a technician. Also, the appointments could be available only after a couple of days depending on the type of request. However, calling the Company which picked up the request sometimes helps getting an earlier date. While my recent experience has been bad with the AC issue not being resolved even after 2 weeks due to the poor customer service from the company which picked up the claim, my earlier experiences have been good. I would definitely recommend Choice Home Warranty to my friends.

I had a chance to go visit them with what I thought was a complaint and they cleared it up completely and showed me that they were a trustworthy and honorable company. My furnace or air conditioning made a very loud squeak. And initially someone told me there that I was not qualified for the warranty. I actually stopped at the headquarters and I talked to the the manager and then he brought out his HVAC specialist who was terrific and he said no, we made an initial mistake on yours, we'll cover it. And he told me exactly what was wrong and it was a bearing going bad and it was totally fixed to my complete satisfaction.

Before signing up with them, I saw that Choice Home Warranty had good reviews and I had a good experience with the salesperson. They gave me a phenomenal deal on a 6 year plan for a home warranty where the cost will never go up. I prepaid for it. There is some fine print in their contract, which will be kind of dubious if it comes to a big ticket item. I only used the service once so far, but it was a positive experience. I had some plumbing issues and had to put in two work orders, which seemed silly because it was just one plumber who ended up doing 2 jobs. But the issues were resolved quickly. Unfortunately, I've had some very bad experiences with home warranty companies, but so far Choice has not posed a problem.

Thanksgiving morning of all days my oven went out. I had to call them about the stove and they sent someone to my house within a week. I was not home. My husband had emergency surgery, so I was in the hospital. My friend stayed there. The service that he gave that day was great. The problem I had was he told her the part that he had to order would be in. That he said he had to order the part and he would be back probably the following Thursday, which would have been last Thursday. He not only did not come back, he did not call or text or let me know anything, and I stayed home that day from work just in case. I contacted him and he sent me a text back later in the day and said the part would probably not be until this Wednesday. And I just think that the courteous thing for him to have done would have been to at least just sent me a quick text to tell me the part did not come in, that it was going to be later.

They've been very communicative with me about what's going on. They've contacted me if I had questions to respond and answer. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is sometimes it takes a while before a technician arrives. We had no air conditioning once. It was several days before they sent someone here, so we were without air conditioning in like, 90 degree weather for several days before we could get it taken care of. But we ended up using a portable unit that we had, and we borrowed one from a neighbor that also had one and we were okay, but I think they could be a bit more responsive in getting a technician here. That sometimes has taken, I think longer than necessary and some people sometimes will give up and just go ahead and contact someone and have them come in and then they end up having to pay for the repair.

Customer service was overly helpful getting my account information. We have a refrigerator freezer that are actually two separate machines, and for some reason, water started dripping from the bottom of the refrigerator part and as soon as I did the online request for somebody to come out they made an appointment within 24 hours and they made the appointment. He came in, got it working, and he said he'd be back with the part and again a couple days later came in with the part and fixed it. He was overly nice, very helpful, gave me information for how to better take care of my refrigerator also.

I've had several different technicians come out from different companies and I've never had a problem. The latest thing that happened, which I really appreciate, is I had two problems with GE appliances, one with my ice maker in my refrigerator and one with my washing machine and the same technician came out, so I only ended up with one service call charge for that. They pretty much fixed the problem of my washing machine, but they determined that my washing machine was very old, which I didn't know, the washing machine was here when I moved in. They ended up giving me a credit at Lowe's, to use for buying a new washing machine.

I have been a customer for many years, but have not had to use Choice's services very often. However, I feel more comfortable having them available. Their services have been excellent. The only disappointment I have with Choice, is if there is an emergency after regular work hours they are not available. This happened once. I called many Choice phone numbers including one at their corporate office in New Jersey and received the same voice message, which was to go to the website and put a claim in. I ended up going on-line and finding an appliance company that actually had a human answer the phone and was able to have a technician arrive about two hours later. The end of the tube bringing water to the ice maker had cracked and I would have had my house flooded had I not received service. Choice needs to make it clear that they do not provide service after hours. However, during regular office hours and using the on-line claim service has worked well for me. They have sent competent, knowledgeable technicians and I have been pleased with excellent services in a timely manner.

I am so glad my real estate agent offered me Choice Home Warranty. I have had a few issues with my new home, and they definitely came through on everything that was covered under my plan. I will honestly never go to another company because of the success I've had with Choice Home Warranty. I would suggest everyone giving them a try. They will work with you. And a home warranty, at least for the first year of a home purchase is worth it. You'll be amazed at how many things need work that first year from appliances, electrical, a rekey. And these things cost money. But with a warranty, you only have to pay a fraction of the cost.

I have been a member of Choice Home Warranty for several years. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with their customer service and getting my covered items fixed or replaced. Over the last two years, I have had my kitchen sink replaced, bathroom faucet leak fixed, bathtub faucet leak, and my heater/furnace replaced. After paying my deductible, they covered all the additional costs for the items I just mentioned. The most costly would have been the furnace replacement because it would have cost $3000 or more to replace. In addition to the money I saved from the repairs/replacements, I saved a lot of time and effort because Choice Home Warranty assigned the contractors to do the repairs. It was easy to make a claim by going online or calling their customer service number. For all of the repairs I requested, I was assigned a contractor within 24 hours.

I had 2 claims my second year (July and Sept. 2022) on older systems (AC and HVAC) each were over $600. I went the reimbursement route and got my own service person which is an option you have if they cannot find one for you in a reasonable time. They preapproved and reimbursed me no hassles within 30 days. It paid for itself in spades thus far! There is a process you have to follow for making claims and getting preapproval for your service tech. If you follow the procedure, all is well. Even when I sort of messed up, they were wonderful, helpful and understanding. Great customer service with very short hold time. I am recommending to everyone I know. Way cheaper than what I paid for over 20 years in my prior home for emergency plus replacement service through my power company which did not cover nearly all that my Choice plan does (and twice the cost)! I plan to renew every year. Great peace of mind. Plus they have pay options if you need to space out your premium payments. I paid in 3 payments over 3 months.

I had major surgery and have been in the hospital for almost a month. I came home and I lost my air conditioning. Right after I got home, it was extremely difficult for me to breathe. I contacted choice and I told them my situation. Within three days they've got somebody out here and the gentleman that they sent out here was able to fix my air conditioning immediately. Now he was supposed to come out to me in the evening hours, but instead they conveyed my situation to him and he moved me up and came out in the morning hours which I greatly appreciate. Compassionate towards their customer circumstances.

I've been with Choice for about nine years and I still have three properties with Choice and they've always done a good job. Sometimes I haven't been happy, but they had no control over the wait time on parts, but they've done a good job for us we're very happy. Whenever I call they they do what they can to correct the issue. I've used it so many times, I've used it on my air conditioner which they came out and fixed right away, I just recently had them out here to fixed my refrigerator they put in new compressors and it is working beautifully, they fixed my microwave, they fixed a lot of things over the years.

I have used home warranties for over 20 years with typically satisfactory results. Regardless of who you use, there are going to be some issues that may not be resolved the way you would like them to be. The most important thing is to read and understand what the policy covers and the different methods of resolution that are available. If you have a question about coverage or vendor service, call a representative and get an answer to that question. That way you can decide what available resolution will be best for you. I moved to Choice Home Warranty a few years ago and have received good service when filing claims and working with their service vendors. Most recently I had a service vendor work on a difficult washing machine claim until 9:30 pm taking time to assure all connections and vent ducting was secure and working properly. Great service provided by Choice Home Warranty and their service vendors makes me happy and is appreciated.

On June 14 my oven would not light. I notified Choice Home Warranty. I received a call back and was told they would arrange a call back when a company accepted the job. Received a call from Sears the following morning, and they arranged a repairman for the 17th. Since I live in the country, 50+ miles from a large city, I was thrilled. After updates from Sears Parts and Service regarding time repairman would arrive and diagnose the problem. He told me he would order the parts to be shipped to me and return on July 05 to make repairs. When he came on the fifth, the parts they sent were broken (Unusable). He rescheduled for the 21st and ordered again. The 21st I gave him the new box, they were also broken. So, here it is almost 6 weeks later, I still have no oven, and no date as to when it will be fixed. Let me say though, Choice Home Warranty did a great job, very efficiently, it was Sears who dropped the ball.

Choice Warranty is so much better and more prompt than the other companies I have used. I've got good clear answers to my questions and the coverage has been very good. I had a couple of plumbing leaks and I had dishwasher malfunctions and the dishwasher tech to come out was really one of the best techs I've ever seen. I didn't know how he was gonna get it fixed but he knew exactly what to do and the plumber hasn't got back with me. I can't close it for the whole 4th of July I understand he'll be back in the office on the 11th but he corrected a plumbing problem but we still got one more to go. I'm very satisfied with it and it's a lot more economical than the other one I had. I would recommend Choice, it is very good.

The service fee doubled and I really wasn't expecting that. It's almost like I can call the vendor myself directly and go through them without a warranty. Choice's service fee went from basically $45-50 to almost $90-$100, so if I don't ever have to use the service that often, it can be 2 years before I ever have to call anyone for any type of service. So I'm paying every month and then I make that one phone call and I've still got paying that service fee. Every time I've called, I get good customer service. Then someone will be out within 2 to 3 days. I had an issue with one of the vendors that was sent out and I was able to call the customer service back and explain to them what the issue. They were able to make sure that the vendor came back out and did not charge me again because I had been charged twice for the same issue that was never resolved.

I love the fact that they have an app. When the second person that was coming to deal with my mess and my HVAC were not talking to each other, I was able to go on the app, send a message, somebody returned my message immediately and then had the provider give me a call. It was great. I've already recommended them to a couple of new people. I had two electrical issues and they sent confident professional capable people out. They were friendly. They helped me with the problem, they were in and out in less than 30 minutes and my problems were solved. I just felt fully supported. I felt like they came to do a good job and they were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable about choice, which was good for me because they could tell me what I could expect. And so I appreciated that.

I've only had to have them come out once. And the one time that I did have to call them to do a service call the customer service representative was very pleasant. They put in my request and the very next day I received an email and the person came out a day later so it was a very positive experience. She made sure someone came out quickly because I needed that so I am very thankful. I actually just recommended them to someone. They are very reliable. I immediately called someone to let them know that the air conditioning wasn't working and they went out out the house to take care of it for me. Everything was very smooth. When I had to fight for my issues, they were very responsive. I never had any issues with callbacks or anything like that. They were actually really good at responding and keeping everything flowing smoothly. I've actually recommended them to a couple of people. I had both of my units go down at the same time. My HVAC unit. And they had to put those in. They sent a technician out and we realized that it was a surge from lightning strike, which is why both of them went down at the same time and they had them up and running within a couple of days because we had to wait for a part for one of them, but the other one was actually fixed right on the spot. It was actually a very good experience when I had to do a claim.

My home was built 2013, I'm the original owner and value it very much. When I noticed my cabinet underneath my disposal was flooded about 1 inch, I quickly removed plastic items and gray protection mat. I felt so badly that my original (ply wood type, but not) was bubbled. Same wood texture as slide out drawers are made of, but sturdy. I dried wood out as quickly as possible. I knew the water came from garbage disposal since it was still wet after touching the bottom. I'm 66 + in age, but I handled the whole process myself. Your service person came the following mid-morning...reasonable right. Anyway, he verified my evaluation of what had occurred. Quickly went to truck grabbed a new disposal and it was done! I love the efficiency, professionalism and friendly work for sure! Is it possible to have the wood replaced to its original state?

On one occasion I had to call them twice but they got technicians out there very quickly. My problems were minor problems but they were still solved quickly so I've been extremely happy. I think it's a good value for your money and I have already recommended them to a friend. One time my oven blew a fuse and they came out and diagnosed the problem and got it working and I was very happy with the result. The technicians were very good and nice. As far as my experience with them goes, they're a very good company and they stand behind what they tell you when they're recruiting you to be a customer.

They answer the phone and send people out right away. I've used it on three separate occasions. We had trouble with our stove and I was not happy with that initial service call because the repairman could not make a repair, choice warranty gave me close to the amount of what it would have been to purchase a new stove. And then I had a problem with my washer and dryer and this time the guy was on top of his game. He came in to check things out. He was in and out probably in an hour. When I called them to fix my AC, they sent a guy out the next morning. It took thirty to forty minutes. So other than my initial service call, I've been very happy with the service and I would really recommend choice warranty to my friends and family. They are pleasant and I am happy with their service. I have had good experiences with them.

My claim was handled expeditiously. And it was handled within a short period of time, it was very good. The individual they sent was licensed and knew exactly what to do. It was done quickly. I don't normally make recommendations but I would recommend Choice Home Warranty. Their coverage is comprehensive and fits all my needs. Recently my garbage disposal went awry and I made the claim and it was actually on a weekend. And I got a response within a few hours. They offered me several options on how I could resolve it or they would have a technician immediately out there on Monday and that's what they did and it worked out fine. So far my relationship with them is wonderful. It's given me a great deal of peace of mind. And with the knowledge that should something go awry I can make a call have somebody got my back.

technical service was outstanding customer service sent me an email saying great news going to replace your dishwasher for 248 go to lowes we have a kitchen aid dishwasher cost of replacement at lowes 1149 Jessica was assigned to me she told me that it could be bought wholesale for that price so i aske her if it could be repaired instead she told me no the we sending me a check for repair jobs choice is outstand for replacement Jessica needs training in better explaining as to why i neededto replace replace my dishwasher for 1358 wit tax and installation extra your warranty is great for breakdowns and repairs not good for replacement

Very good customer service. They get back to you very quickly and they answer all your questions. My dryer was not working so I filed the claim online. They scheduled an appointment with a service provider within two days. The service guy came to fix the dryer and it was good. It is a good company, I just wish they would work a little bit better in certain areas of the claim process. They kind of give you a hard time seeing if something is broken and you get it fixed they want you to go through them you know start the process with them first before getting somebody else but sometimes that's not reasonable.

I had purchased this coverage after my old sewer line collapsed. Just in case something else were to happen with my older home. The hot water during showers was running down quickly and so I needed to find someone to look it over and tell me if it needed replaced. I got in the website for Choice and submitted a claim. Within a day I had a service person here to look the water heater over. Indeed it needed replaced. The company chosen by Choice was a reputable one in the city (reassuring). To be honest, feedback I've gotten was that warranty companies usually don't pay much toward the actual cost of replacing large expense repairs/replacements. To my surprise, Choice was willing to pay a large sum of the bill to replace the heater. So, I am very pleased with the whole process.

Choice has been very responsive. I've had 2 claims with the company and it was done over my laptop, which was fine and everything worked out great. I had a dishwasher problem and they reached out to talk. Then he called me and showed up when he said he was gonna be here and fixed the problem. And then I had a problem in my electrical panel was some breakage that kept blowing so again, I put the claim in and was contacted by an electrician here in Ellington. He came by and took care of the problem so. it's all been very positive. I would recommend them to anybody. The claims went in, they were taken care of in a timely matter, and everything went great.
