They suck!! They refuse to allow the technician they first sent to me to be my technician. They continue to deduct money from my checking account on the 14th of the month after I have repeatedly told them I don't get paid until the 16th of the month. I am in the process of finding another company . Also they raised the copay from $65 to $85 without any notification.

Read the contract carefully and not what the sales person explains regarding claims. They do not replace items or offer "Fair Market Value". They offer less than wholesale price and determine where you need to purchase replacements.

You all only send emails and no phone calls as a way to get out of your responsibility. This company, while minimally beneficial is a ripoff to consumers who have very few options on home warranties. They dont care about customer service and making the customer happy all they do is quote lines from their policy manual on why they are falling short on satifying the customer. I had a few appliances that had to be replaced and they gave me like one third of what it would cost to purchasd new replacements of like kind. Real bad company, they dont care about the customer. I'm not one to write bad reviews but I had to this time this company really doesn't care. Stay clear.

My furnace failed after 19 years, eight months if use. Your agents claimed that the life expectancy of the furnace was 20 years, so the failure was the result of poor maintenance, not normal wear and tear. I appealed this decision and requested documentation proving their claim that the furnace did not fail from normal use. I never heard back, so I contacted a Local HVAC contractor who told me the life expectancy of my furnace was 16-18 years and mine was, in fact, living in borrowed time. I am extremely frustrated that I never heard back from the company about my request for documentation.

They're just making money coming in and getting everything denied I mean everytime he's come he's denied the claims. I got a plumber that was supposed to be here in the 28th of December to get the job done and he was supposed to come back on the 30th of December to finish the job. He did not finish his job yet, he's just now supposedly coming back today, he told me he's coming back twice and he never called or showed up.

I submitted a claim, 12/17/21 (claim #:143232370). On 12/21/21, a Rep. from HTR Svc (86 miles away) came out and checked my Stove. He ordered an "Oven Temp. Sensor." and said that it would come in on 12/23/21. I paid him the $75,00 service fee. I have tried to contact him several times, and left messages for him to call me. I have tried to contact someone from CHW. No one will answer my calls. So I am out of $75.00 and my Oven still don't work properly. My next step is to fine me a reliable Home Warrenty Service.

We have only used the warranty three times in three years. Each time it was fight to get what we thought the value of our appliances were. Each time they offered gift cards instead of cash and we had to go through a appointment time to talk with someone to get a check. Then we had to wait weeks for the check to get to us. Read the fine print because they will use it every time.

Always come up with some excuse why they can't cover a repair and they always go the cheapest route, if they give you a cash payout, it's never enough to even purchase the cheapest replacement, I'm still stuck with paying out of my pocket to even get the cheapest replacement. The customer service people are so rude and never want to cooperate with anything. If it's not to their advantage then they won't do it, they will just argue with you.

Water heater failed (16) yr old called CHW for claim waited 6 days for their tech no response . Used my own plumber they refused the claim because my plumber couldn't get replacement parts for that old of a unit and put in a new unit. They wanted my plumber to submit a detailed break down of why he replaced it. My plumber is too busy to call a detailed report on a unit that should have failed 6yrs sooner.

The reason that I rated it a one is because I was under the understanding because I bought the premium membership that I would have replacement value for my dishwasher refrigerator whatever failed. And that's not what happened I cannot replace my dishwasher for less than $500 then they're not helping with installation or any of that. So to me if I just kept my $580 that I paid for the warranty I could have bought me a new dishwasher. Now the check is supposed to be in the mail for $246 which will not cover the cost of the dishwasher and the installation

The technician who came to repair my HAVAC took picture and showed me how rusted out my unit was. He also said it was leaking Freon. He filled it up and said it would be a matter of time before it leaked out again. Choice said an entire different story I guess so when the Freon runs out I will need to repeat this process.
