I have had just 2 service calls. The first was a plumber who was extremely non professional. The 2nd was for heat and that company was fine. You say you repair old houses, but the plumber said almost new plumbing was too old.

First technician assigned and I was not told. Another company called and I told them I had already made appointment . Had to call them back and lost a day with no furnace. Then they told me I had to pay them the whole amount. So now I am waiting 30 days to get my $495.00 back from your company.

The first time I used it was for my washing machine. The person they sent never got back to me, I waited three weeks to get my washing machine repaired they could not find anybody so I had to find someone myself. I only had one good experience. Most of the technicians tell me that choice home warranty doesn't want to pay for any good services so they don't recruit very good technicians.

My heating system was out for 3 weeks. Choice set a technician (Royalty HVAC) who misdiagnosed the cause of the heating malfunction. After the second visit the said the could not complete the job as it required vent cleaning (which was not true).Choice send a second company , Cool Heatings , and they were able to get my system running. I call choice almost every day to get a status update and got conflicting reports. I had trouble getting to speak to a supervisor and felt that my being without heat in the dead of winter was not a priority to the people from choice I spoke to.

It's very hard to get in touch with someone and then when you do make a claim it takes way too long to get a response. The customer service is terrible. Two times my washing machine went out so I called in and it took two weeks to get someone out here. Then the next time I had a plumbing issue and I called and I have yet to see a plumber. I never had any response at all.

My kitchen faucet handle fell off from old age. The claims reviewer said I "abused" it and that's why it broke, which is crazy! They wouldn't pay for a new one because they said they don't cover breakage from old age. So what's the point of this policy then?

They suck!! They refuse to allow the technician they first sent to me to be my technician. They continue to deduct money from my checking account on the 14th of the month after I have repeatedly told them I don't get paid until the 16th of the month. I am in the process of finding another company . Also they raised the copay from $65 to $85 without any notification.
