The other one I had was just no good so we had to get to another one, so we chose Choice Home Warranty. When my AC went out, they were very good but sometimes when people come out, they don't seem to know what they are doing.

My furnace quit working and the furnace repairman was out first thing the next morning and replaces the regulator. When I had a plumbing issues though they denied the claim because it was not covered under the warranty.

CHW should be more cognizant of the urgency of the situation. For example if it is 20 degrees outside and my heater breaks, don't tell me that a repair can occur in 2 days. It needs repaired that day!

Often then can't find a company for a job because tradespeople don't like working with them. I don't want to find my own because people who are not contracted with Choice REALLY don't want to work with them and what's the point of me paying for the contract if I have to find my own service people?

Everything that we have needed to be fixed has not been fixed yet. The company they sent to evaluate out units on a lake house had no idea what they were doing. We have a separate policy with them for or permanent residence and they've been great.

I have a ceiling fan that came loose, and I have been waiting for them to get somebody to come and fix it but they have no company around me that will do the work. They seem to answer the phone to try to solve my problem, but they have yet to solve it.

They're not very friendly or courteous. The supervisor was great and took care of me back I was not happy with the base level customer service. I called about my ac on a Friday and had to wait until Tuesday for a rep to come out and the process was shady. I had to pay all the money upfront for them to reimburse me. They didn't deliver on their promises and I will probably never use them again.

The response back was immediate but they people they are sending, I don't know if they are qualified because not all the problems are resolves and I had to find somebody from my side to fix the issue and when I called customer service I was on hold for almost ten minutes and they said they would call me back and nobody has.

Called about a plumbing leak, was charged $65 for someone to say, "Yup, you have a leak." The contractor gave an estimated cost of repair of $370. I went to Lowes, bought a part for $2.99 and fixed it myself in 3 minutes. The warranty allows rip-off plumbers to get your business.

All though people are friendly, unfortunately it's hard to get timely service. It took a few days to get someone out for my refrigerator, another few days to get a part. Then my refrigerator only worked for one day before going out again. I had to wait another few days for another part. I think I should have the opportunity to change the service man without paying another $60.
