Very poor level of customer service and support. Very inadequate level of communication. Very disappointing level of commitment. Complete failure to coordinate work with service providers. I reported a non-working wall oven/microwave combo and the service provider came for a dishwasher inspection. I am still without an oven/microwave unit. I have all the documentations to substantiate my claims and I am considering elevating this to the Agency having jurisdiction over CHW’s operations.

I have had 2 claims in 6 months with Choice Home Warranty. One plumbing and one refrigerator. Both took over a month to complete. The refrigerator required a part not covered according to CHW for $165. The tech said the repair could not be completed without it. As a former customer of American Home Shield I would recommend them as I will be returning to AHS.

Our Microwave died despite several attempts to repair it and the replacement value they gave us did not take into consideration it is part of oven/microwave unit so now we have to make up about $2500 out of pocket!! We asked to speak to a supervisor or how to appeal and were denied speaking to anyone further and were given no options at ALL!! Nice Warranty. I Guess it's THIER CHOICE WARRANTY!!

They do not follow through with claims you have to constantly call them. And then they don’t cover the full amount of the claim very dissatisfied. I filed my claim around 15 January something like that and we had a cold front it got down to 45° in my house. No one offered to bring heaters out or anything like that. Still don’t have my heater and today’s 19 February had to go with a private vendor send in an estimated receipt still waiting to find out what they’re gonna pay, but the majority of it is coming out of my pocket what happened to if it’s broken, we replace it.

Technician came to fix Washer leak and didn’t fix issue then went on vacation and we scheduled an appt. for when he came back. Called to confirm the appt., morning of and he said he didn’t have me on his books but would be there between 11 and early afternoon. No show and Washer is still not fixed. Also, am waiting for a kitchen sink leak. The original window was supposed to be 1-5 and then got a message that they would be there between 4-6. It is now almost 7 and still no technician.

Representatives lack courtesy and shut off ability to comment or respond to comments to advise what the appliance company is doing. Vendors do not tell the truth of what they are really doing to the homeowner and Choice doesn’t want to hear our side.

Needed a plumber, after waiting a week, you couldn't find someone anywhere in Delaware we got our own. Turned out the problem wasn't on our property but beyond our property line so our HOA paid for it. Because of YOUR inability to find a plumber we were without a kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine. We spent the week bailing water out of the sink Thanks for nothing.

Hot water heater leaking. Charged a 100 for the service call then wanted to charge me 400 for the water heater. The water heater only cost 400. What good is this service if I pay the service person 100 then pay 400 for the water heater? Could have hired someone my self to do it. They said it was for misalanias parts. What parts you unhook one and set the other right in. What a rip off.

This is the worse warranty company by far. Every claim we file not covered so you said. HVAC system wear out, not covered. Washing machine went out not covered. That sad we pay monthly bill for what, I could not get in touch with CEO , after texting him at least 6 times. Choice Warranty should be ashamed taking senior citizens money. At best they are a 10% coupon. The didn't even cover the delivery fee of a new dishwasher after they agreed it was in scope, when I called they said there was nothing to do to increase value. When I called to cancel I talked to a manager that said he would try to work with me to increase the payout. Why wasn't that an option before? Also they straight up lied about calling me. I wouldn't recommend them to my worse enemy.

I have placed several calls to Choice Home Warranty and the recording always promises a call back but I've never gotten any call backs I don't see any messages sent to me and there are no voicemail messages I am not showing any return calls I'm not quite sure what the problem is in the past I've always been able to call and get a live person on the phone but something must have changed because I don't seem to be able to get a live person on the phone just the promise from the recording that someone will call me back and there have been no call back that day the following day or at any point up until now so I'm very disappointed with this

The company lulls you into a false sense of security. I’ve been with them for 5 years and recently had my furnace breakdown. The repair company that was sent in informed Choice Home Warranty that the entire furnace needed to be replaced. I was informed there would be a$2000.00 out of pocket expense for uncovered services. So much for peace of mind knowing you’re covered if something in your house breaks down. What a bunch of BS!! I don not recommend this company. You can get the same coverage with other home warranty companies and not be blind sided when you file a claim. Good riddance!!

1. We've been waiting for a week to get an electrician to examine our electrical issues and still haven't been given the option to find our own and be reimbursed. This is as bad as American Home Shield. 2. I had to talk to a foreigner who was useless in helping me instead of a knowledgeable caring American who understands the work ethic and demands of our fast-paced, results-oriented culture. 3. I had to complain to get reimbursement for our boiler which heats our home because it's winter and we'd still be waiting for a technician all week if I hadn't while sitting in the cold with space heaters. You're too slow and this isn't the service I was sold on.
