I think the acutal deductible or the cost of visit should b e lower than $60 considering the cost for the entire service that's provided. It should be half that. We needed to use it for our septic tank and for our toilet and we have a 91 year old here and we had to wait 5 days for them to call. They make appointments, but they're not immediate.

Customer service has answered my questions when I've called them. I've used it twice, one for my air conditioner and it would have cost me $3000 out of pokect, which I can't afford. That's why I got this insurance so I'm not real happy with that and I'm strongly considering changing companies.

My washing machine wasn't working properly and I called twice. The guy came out and twice he couldn't fix it so they have to send another guy and I had to pay another $45 so I paid $90. And the second guy he can't fix so they wouldn't give me the full value of the washing machine. They only gave me $299 and the washing machine cost me $700.

Up until this claim they have done a good job. This claim was handled poorly and no repair person ever contacted me so I called and did it my self. Now I have to figure out a way to get remimbursed for my service call. I was never contacted and told that they had no one in my area.

they dont cover much in their warranty. Plus they don't explain there coverage when they sell it to you. They say we cover everything like dishwasher, water heater etc... what they mean is they cover PART OF THOSE UNITS not ALL parts.

You have to argue with them to get everything done. My refrigerator ice maker in the door went out. It wasn't the ice maker thing, it was the mechanical device in the door that would not open the door to let the ice out, which was not connected to the ice machine and they didn't want to pay for it. It took me over a month to get them to do it. I'm not very pleased with our choice home warranty at all.

It's a hassle to get paid. I had to replace something with a problem with the septic system and they wouldn't pay because they said it was detachable. They ended up paying a courtesy payment of five hundred and they still did not pay like the warranty is supposed to pay.

We used them for a dishwasher and they came out and it was fine. We used it for our air conditioner last year and the guy that came out didn't fix the unit so they had to send somebody else back out. It's very incovenient. They don't cover some of the things that need to be covered and the contractors they sent out weren't qualified to be here.

The last claim I had was A/C issue. The tech came out said I needed a service, that I found out I did not need. The tech then told CHW i refused the service and lied to them. Now CHW will not cover anything to do with the A/C.

It depends on what I was calling for. I had a very bad experience with my air condition unit where instead of covering it, they didn't cover anything. And I ended up paying over $5000for it. They did not cover it like they should have. There was some kind of thing in the small print where they wouldn't cover it. With minor things it was fine. First they wouldn't cover my microwave either. The service people seem to be fine.

Very responsive BUT omitted. “Not covered fees”in the contract . Contractor however great! BUT WITH the Warranty I still paid 950 dollars for a new APPROVED water heater replacement. Nothing in contract re additional fees for installing the heater.

This past year we had our dishwasher go out and we filed a claim. We didn't get a replacement on our dishwasher but it was recognized as an old dishwasher and we thought we got a pretty settlement out of it. Every time we call you've been responsive and get somebody out there right away.

They are always so polite and very nice. They are very prompt service as far as getting here and then explaining what's going on but I wound up paying three hundred twenty dollars out of pocket because certain things weren't covered and I didn't like that at all. That was a lot of money for me.

Most of the time they were very good about it. Honestly, just one time with my air conditioning, just labor, no parts that they would cover so that made it several thousand dollars to buy a new air conditioning unit for one that was still under our warranty support.

Each time I called they sent somebody out. I was not made aware so I would have to go out of pocket to get the part because they didn't cover that in the warranty. Like my refrigerator. I have a side by side refrigerator and they debated that the ice maker wasn't covered.

You have sent had 3 different companies come out to fix the issue on my furnace. Each time, the one that 'fixed it' does not respond to calls because it wasn't fixed. Last company said was due to poor installation, and I had to pay for repair. Guess what? It's not fixed, and the company has no responded to my (3) calls. Choice home Warranty says they can't do anything because the last company said it was installed wrong! I'm disgusted with their response!

Customer Service Reps are difficult to talk to. THey do not understand English well. During the weeks leading up to renewal, there were many, many, many attempts to contact me and push for renewal. It is very annoying.
