I want to share that it's very frustrating when you purchase a home warranty from them. They are relentlyess. They'll call your home phone, they will call each person's cell phone and will not stop calling you. We begged them to please stop calling us and that we would make a decision in our own time and that was the most torturous three months, ti was a nightmare. That's not a way to do proper, professional business. People can make up their own minds in their own time. Now that we have them, it's difficult to get in touch with customer support. My air conditioning broke in my house last year and it took them three months to fix it. It was a nightmare and they finally gave in and let us go outside of our warranty and get it fixed. We had to fight them.

I used it to repair my ceiling fan bu tthey decided to replace it. I had a 5 blade and remote control. They replaced it with a little dinky thing that has 4 blades, three lights, and no remote control. I would have paid the difference but I wasnÕt given a choice.

I needed to use the warranty about a washing machine. I called them and said hold off. I called them and said, no come back. I said I couldnÕt' be there that time and I called them back and they had to re-task. We got a new ticket and it was just sort of a hassle. Choice Home Warranty was very limited returning phone calls. I'm sure the coronavirus has something to do with it, but it was still difficult. There was miscommunication.

We had an outside faucet go bad. We called and a plumber was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time and they came and did the work so everything worked out fine. Sometimes it takes time for them to figure out what they're going to do, but for the most part they've proved to be reliable.

Finally a technician that was experienced working with my refrigerator ice maker. I called it in before along with the refrigerator fan problem and the previous technician was only able to fix the fan and not the ice maker problem so I had to make another claim on the same problem which the ice maker continued to freeze up and not dispense ice.

They've been pretty consistent. One time we had a problem with the washer and the gentleman that came out to do it was not very professional. They did send somebody up at a lter date, but the first guy was not a good guy.

When we first started this service several years ago, the pool repair person was lousy but that has gotten much better but the repair are given less leeway on how & when to repair or replace so it takes longer. A refrigerator repair is really only the motor or the coolant & I was informed my refrigerator was considered a leak & any repair or replacement was denied. NOT HAPPY! Because in my opinion that means a refrigerator is basically not covered. I called another warranty to find out if that was covered & it was so I purchased their service.

I asked for a water heater issue and the feedback I got was it wasn't covered under the warranty and I don't understand why because my understanding was if it can't be repaired it would be replaced. I needed a different department and they came on time for the work and I was very satisifed with that.

They always answer your call and always available. During plumbing issues, I called choice and the ysent out a plumber out to check my water heater to put a pipe coupling on it ot prevent carbon monoxide within the home. The work is done effectively and accurately and you don't have to call them back.

I've used it several times. The first time that I treid to use the warranty my septic system needed to be empited so I called them and they sent seomeone out and then the person they sent out I guess didn't actually do the thing for my system so the $200 that was allocated for it and they did not reimburse me that. Something came up and the pool pump stopped working and I can't find anyone so I neded up having to get someone out here myself.

They did not cover my air conditioner, which was very misleading and there was nothing in the contract that says that part shouldn't have been covered so I was out of pocket a lot of money that Choice should have covered. For the most part, they cover small items, but there's big ticket items that they don't seem to cover and they don't tell you that.

I put an online request in for service probably around 11AM and I had an appointment scheduled by 2pm. Somebody was here at 4PM. It was really quick. It did take 10 days to get new parts to my microwave

I would say make sure you read all the fine print because I was not aware that you guys, all the service calls get taken out of some total. So I wanted to cancel my warranty and I couldn't because they told me that because of the service calls I've had, I would actually owe them money or something, which is totally twisted. Once claim was for a dishwasher and we found out that the garbage disposal was wrong too so I called you guys and wanted to ad it to the dishwasher claim and the company that I was referred to did not answer any of my calls, texts, or emails for four or five days. Then they said they were going to set up an appointment and they didn't call and it was just mass confusion. I ended up paying out of pocket just to get it done.

They have the lower copay. There was a time I had to use my warranty to have my sink repaired. It was leaking and they sent out a person to do that work and the person had to go back out and get authorization or confirmation that it was okay to do the work. For some reason, the plumber said he wasn't going to be approved but Choice approved it.

Needed to use the warranty for a small leak between my dishwasher is saying the plumber came out diagnosed the issue service see and then never came back to actually fix it I let the home warranty know via an email and then I hired another repairman to fix it but I've never attempted to what's that thank you for get my money back from the warranty for the the service that I had to pay for they were they never responded to my email.
