Their customer support is usually pretty good, but the issue is that they said they cover the hot water heater. Well, my hot water heater went out, and the covered everything except the tank, and well, the tank is what went out. Besides that' they've replaced my A/C, and given me a small portion to cover buy a new refrigerator, considering mine was too old to repair.

After 4 years with AHS, I realized that I did not have coverage for my appliances. I contacted Choice Home Warranty and not only did they give me a price less than AHS, they lowered my service fee charge and my appliances are now covered, no question asked. The representative was great and I could finally understand the person on the other end of the line.

Have had a washing machine motor, a dryer belt break, dishwasher, pump and impeller issues, and the garage door all in 2 gears! The service charge you come out and diagnose the issue (s) cost me $75. The warranty covered everything after that. I never saw any bills. All parts and labor were covered. Well worth it to me as that was about $9,500 in repairs. I mean it is your own risk assessment. How old is your stuff, when was it built and what can you afford. Nybexpierence was great and obviously I'm keeping it!

I've had a very positive experience with customer service. They respond quickly and are always professional and knowledgeable. Recently, I used my warranty for a dryer issue, and the technician fixed it almost immediately. I also scheduled a plumbing appointment effortlessly. First time use this service since I became a member. So far awesome service. Had an issue with my Maytag dryer Choice warranty contacted Honolulu appliance repair company. The service that I received from them was remarkable the service tech was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to fix my dryer. I would definitely let friends and family know about my experience.

I deal with LOTS of HomeWarranty Companies as a Real Estate Agent and Choice Home Warranty is by far the best I ever deal with! I always go through Tracy Pryor for the best customer service and better deals than just going on line. I would warn most home owners to COMPARE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR HEAT AND AIR SYSTEMS!! Choice allows higher amounts than almost all!!!! I am also a landlord and have Choice Home Warranties on not only my own home but my rental properties as well.

I was never a believer in home warrenties. When the home warrenty that came with my previous house expired i bought a new warrenty with Choice. The bottom line is that when we sold that house and bought our current home part of the deal was the the seller purchase a home warrenty for us from Choice Home Warrenty. That kind of sums up the essence of my recommendation. However, since buying our house i have used Choice on several matters and their response; service and follow up has been incredible, and one of the claims was somewhat significant. Not a problem at all.

Well they came to look at my air conditioner, which they said , was in perfect condition. I keep it clean they said, my maintenance on it is kept up with the filters. I just don’t seem to understand the thermostat so he explained to me .About when I use my heat and my air correctly.So I was very satisfied and he was a fine gentleman. But I am sorry I don’t remember his name. Maybe you can look who serviced my house.

Our A/C went out in and when I submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty it was after 11p as I was about to go to bed. At 7a the next morning my phone rang, was an A/C company wanting to come out and look at my problem. They came out that afternoon, discovered I needed a total unit replacement of my 5-ton AC. The next day I received notice from CHW that my claim had been approved and let me know how much my out of pocket expense would be for the non-covered work. I approved my expense part and the A/C installer called me later to set up a time to bring/install the new unit. Long shory short: from my initial submission of a claim to the restoration of A/C in my home was 4 business days (Thurs-->Monday early afternoon. And, I'm happy to say, the new unit cools much better and faster than my old one.

This is my second Warranty issue on the same Microwave within two weeks. Both of my encounters were excellent. Unfortunately, the first serve call didn't work out. A computer board was replaced , but that did not resolve the complete problem and required a second service call [#246554220] 7/10//24. That call determined that the computer board was faulty and a new board would be ordered. Than new Appointment is set for 7/24/24 7am-11am [Progress AC & Appliances LLC]. I was charged $75 for each Technician Service Call for the same problem or the same piece of appliance within about 2 weeks. Putting all that aside, I am very happy with Choice Home Warranty's responses. I even recommended, within the last 10 days, your service to my friend, David K. T. and he took a 3 year policy.

I have tried several different Home Warranty companies Before I joined CHW, and they were nothing but nightmares.         I have been with Choice Home Warranty since September 6, 2023 Ever since, I used their service twice. The first time was when we had a problem with our bathroom shower faucet. I called them, and the agent who helped me was very courteous and very professional. She gave our contact information to the service company and sent us an email with all the details of the service company. The service agent who contact us and set an appointment with us, came over the next day. He was very professional, he replaced the faucet, and fixed the problem the same day. The second time I used CHW's service when our water heater all of the sudden in the middle of the night was making very loud noise. I called CHW's Customer Service first thing  in the morning, it happened to be on a Sunday. The plumber who came to replace the water heater was one of the best. He went and bought us a new water heater,  and replace it the same day. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CHW's Customer Service team for their professionalism and their fast responsive skills. Also I would like to thank the management team at CHW in processing and helping their customers' claims in a timely manner and for a job well done. I will make sure to recommend Choice Home Warranty to all our friends and family members.

Although the phone tree was a little frustrating, I was very pleased with the service once I got to speak with a person. My claim ended up being split into two claims as I thought only the kitchen garbage disposal was involved, but it turned out that there was also a clog in the kitchen sink pipe (separate system.) That was a little annoying as the separate system required a 2nd claim and a 2nd deductible being paid prior to repair. Still, the service was prompt, the repairs were made quickly & efficiently once a technician was dispatched, and we have had no further problems. Overall, it was a completely satisfying experience.

I consider choice Home Warranty as health insurance for our house. In the course of its lifetime problems will arise and any of them particularly with major systems, can put a major impact on your enjoyment of it. I was pleased that how accessible he claims process is, both online and over the phone. The follow-up, immediately before the repair, and following, provided the assurance that the company is as interested in a satisfactory resolution as we were. Our claim was on a plumbing issue which prevented the use of our master bedroom shower. Wade plumbing services responded very quickly and were a delight to work with. They didn't stop until they repair the problem to our full satisfaction. I recommend Choice Home Warranty, not only to homeowners, but to home Sellers and Realtors as an added bonus to the sale of their home.

It was easy to file a claim and while it took a couple days to assign a technician (during an artic freeze and the issue bing HVAC), CHW kept in contact letting know they were working diligently to find someone in my area. The assigned company was ComfortCoolingnHeating. Their technician (Grover) called me the day of the appointment to let me know about when he would arrive and that he would call me back about 15 min before his eta so I could still run errands until then. Grover was wonderful! The nicest guy. He figured out the problem and then went to a store to get a part that he didn’t have on his truck so that he could get y heat back on. He didn’t want me going without heat in these freezing temps. I highly recommend him and the HVAC company.

Every dealing with Choice Home warranty has worked out well except for one little glitch. Choice sent a tech to evaluate and eventually fix/replace my downstairs a/c. Everything went well except for the warranty I was promised. The tech, Andrew, said he would send me a 10 year warranty. I have texted him with no response and called him with the response that the warranty is on the mail. However, the warranty was not in the mail and subsequent phone calls were not answered. I left messages. It is now going on 3 years come next January and no warranty. If you can get the warranty for me, I’d be greatly appreciative. Marcia Mauro

Our furnace had stopped heating, so we submitted a claim, and within a matter of a few hours an appointment notification was posted for service the following day. The technician was very prompt, and very nice, and had diagnosed and corrected the issue within a matter of a few minutes after arrival. We have used other services ( names not mentioned), that claimed to be the best, and in fact they even went so far as to say that CHW had a bad habit of not following through. Well, we can prove every word of this as being false. Choice Home Warranty is the BEST move we have ever done. A claim was filed with the other program, and we had waited 7 days, and still had not heard from them, we finally just called and had to pay out of pocket for the issue, which was well over $300, which on a fixed income can be hard to do. But we couldnt wait any longer. After having done this we soon cancelled the other and had decided to not have any coverage and just do for ourselves. Thankfully, we had no issues during the year following, but when your disabled, things can become harder to accomplish. Then we received a call from Choice Home Warranty (CHW), and after the last experience we were not sure if we wanted to try again or not. But the reality was being disabled and on oxygen, there are things one can no longer do. So we decided to enroll with Choice Home Warranty, and for almost 5 months we had no issues. Then a day came and we had to file a claim. Being honest, we were fearful of the result. WOW were we pleasantly surprised, Within a few hours of the claim being filed, we were notified of the company and the appointment time. The following day the hour arrived and promptly at the appointment time window the technician arrived exactly at the start of the window. Now I will state that the reason our furnace was not working as it should was not a failure of the system itself, it was an operator error, and even though we still needed to pay for the call, it was more then worth it. Choice personnel were all over this folks, and we will be recommending CHOICE Home Warranty to ALL Our family and Neighbors. We are not the kind that will usually do such a thing and I personally am not one to give a rating higher then 4 at the most, But we were very impressed with how everything was handled and completed, so a 5 Star rating hardly seems like enough, if it were possible to give 10 stars we would do so. If your considering a home warranty service, we can attest to the professionalism, Promptness, everything regarding Choice Home Warranty as being absolutely THE BEST thing we ever done was to go with Choice. Joe was very friendly, easy to talk to and he found the problem right away and explained what had happened to cause the problem. He was able to fix it quickly and he handled everything very professionally. Also with a 11 hour window of time given to us (7am-6pm) I was appreciative that he phoned in advance to give me a better idea of the time he would get to our home and he called again as the actual timeframe became known. This was very helpful. The wide range of time was truly not appreciated, as it tied up the entire day, as well as it had an expectation that the service person could come as early as 7am, which was way earlier than I have ever been given a repair time. That was the only thing we did not appreciate or like about the appointment. This was nothing against the repair person.

It was, so easy to get our issue taken care of, and with minimal wait time for the technician to show up. With the cold weather coming in during the nights, we found that the furnace was not coming on. I contacted Choice Home Warranty, and they took over from the start. There was nothing needed of me other than be there when the HAVC technician called to say they were on their way. I gave them the scoop on what was not working, gave them my deduction payment and they had the problem solved and repaired all in about 20 minutes from time they came into the house and left. We live in the country, 43 miles to the nearest city with services; so getting help fixing things can be very challenging at times. The crew at Choice were able to get someone to come out and fix our main AC unit in just 3 days. Were we live that's light speed. Not only did they look over the unit, but they called head to get a idea what was going on with the unit. When they got here and diagnosised the problem he had the part to fix it. He said that when he called me he felt it was due to 2 different parts that could have failed sow he brought both with him. Problem solved with the 1st visit. I asked if they could hook up a new thermostat and I'd pay them, but they said no charge to do it. Amazing service. Thank you Choice for selecting high quality service companies!!!! Total cost of the repair was just my deductible.

With Choice Home Warranty - I am in great hands. I really like how once a claim is placed on line in an easy to follow process (you can also telephone your claim in) - the service provider is so quickly assigned and then the service appointment date is very quickly assigned. If the date does not work for you - you simply reschedule. If items can be repaired - they will be repaired. If not - a very good amount of money or an e gift card is offered for you to replace with whatever brand/model you like. Replacing with what brand/model you like is different than the prior home warranty company - with the prior company you were not able to chose the replacement - it was chosen for you. When my contract with the prior home warranty company was expiring - I did a lot of research for other options and decided to switch to Choice Home Warranty. The representatives have been top notch - very professional to work with - I have had two claims so I am speaking from experience with Choice Home Warranty. I am very glad I chose to partner with Choice Hone Warranty. Not leaving them.

I had clicked on the email info (again) for Choice Home Warranty to take a look(again) and somehow it sent my phone number to a rep, and I received a phone call immediately. I was somewhat irritated (Ha!) but answered the call. I had checked this company for years, but it did not appear to be in my budget. When I answered the call, the rep told me his name, and I told him that I only had a minute. He quickly began to give me the information. When he told me the special anniversary price, I said, "I'll take it!" Within probably less than 2 minutes we had completed the sign up interview and I was on my way. He kept his word, and emailed me their company info with his name and contact information. Now if their service is as good as this, I will gladly refer them! Thank you Choice Home Warranty!

Jamal K is the representative who first answered my inquiry. Everything he said, and more, was what I had read in Choice's sample policy. He explained things very well, sent me more information, and a day later I called him back with a few questions at which time I was convinced that this is the company that I wanted to engage in home appliance warranty. He looked for all or any possible discounts that he could give after I had added more items to be covered. Very pleasant man and a very pleasant experience. Now, once the policy becomes "in force" in 30 days, I will rest easy that we have this coverage, and, if & when an appliance fails, he will be the man that I plan to contact for service. I have had home warranties on several other homes with a major competitor in the past. I signed up with Choice yesterday and Richard in the sales department was very knowledgeable and easy to work with, having answered all my questions and resolving all of my concerns. Great pricing and coverage compared to other home warranty companies. If Choice's claim department covers claims as stated in their warranty policy (which I printed a hard copy and read every word, in detail) then we are "golden". Everyone I've spoken with so far has been very professional, very knowledgeable and I am very pleased so far. I retired from a large national homebuilder and I am very knowledgeable about home maintenance and repair. I would highly recommend Choice Home Warranty.

I have had only great experiences since I 've been with Choice Warranty for the past seven years. They have come and repaired and replaced my appliances that couldn't be repaired. I have never had to wait more than 2 days for my appointments and they are very reasonable. The companies that do their services work, I would rate them 5 stars. My daughter lives in St. Louis, MO and she and her husband had a very bad experience with their Choice Warranty not repairing or giving them enough funds to replace their appliance. I was not cool with that because I had given rave reviews about them getting Choice Warranty. So please help them, also my daughter lost a day pay from work because they didn't keep their appointment and didn't call to let her know that they weren't coming.

choice was great at getting me a plumber, but the first company fixed the original leak from the bottom of the toilet, but than the water wouldnt shut off, because they couldnt come back for a week i had to call another company and pay another service fee, who fixed the running water inside the tank, but i also stated in my order i wanted both on and off valves replaced because they wouldnt shut off, he refused to replace them because he used force to get them to work, im still concerned that if they freeze again i wont be able to shut off any possible future leaks, i still want the valves replaced lik i assked for in the beginning like i asked for without having to pay a third fee. thank you

I like the fact that I was looking up information on the best home warranties in my area and was given two companies. I reached out to both. In this scenario, "the early bird got the worm" as your company was the first to contact me. I was able to explain my concerns with my current home warranty company and how I have been waiting over 45 days to have them either repair or replace my swimming pool water pump despite reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I was told by your salesman that Choice Home Warranty would never take that long to either repair or replace a simple swimming pool water pump and he even apologized for the trouble the other company has been giving me. I liked the monthly premium, which is less than my current monthly premium, and I liked the fact that he even gave me a discount on the service fee. This was done after I asked him if Choice Home Warranty offered a military discount. He said no, because I was already getting a better discount price, however, he would lower the service fee from $85.00 to $75.00. That is also better than the standard military discount of 10% which would have been $85 - 10% ($8.50) = $76.50. So, I am now very pleased to start with my new home warranty company. The only downside is that there is a 30-day waiting period. At any rate, I still have the other company which I will be canceling next month. I must confess that I am now very pleased to recommend your business to my fellow Veterans of Foreign Wars members and to my fellow American Legion members.

I have been chasing my A/C for the last 3 years and I THINK this tech finally figured it out. The previous 2 techs must have reconnected the A/C wrong. Don was at my house Sat for 6 LONG hours rewiring someone else's lack of knowledge. Mind you this is Texas and its hot as hell here. Don took his time and did it right without attitude or frustration. He fixed the problem and I believe that the unit is finally working the way it was intended to work. My only suggestion to Choice Home Warranty is to allow the home owner to select someone that they are familiar with vice HOPING that they get someone good. Other than that I am thankful for Choice Home Warranty. Thank You, Steve

Every time I had a problem it was not covered, and when it was covered they stated I was the cause. I'm almost 70 yrs old and they expected me to maintain my refrigerator by pulling it out and blowing the dust out. I had it serviced twice and was not aware that it needed to be done. I paid the servicemen, I would not have known what they did or did not do. But I can say when I called about my garbage disposal it was covered and I had a great and knowledgeable serviceman. I was very happy at last. I paid several years in advance, which I would never do again. The rating for product and service is for the above-mentioned service received by the serviceman for my garbage disposal and also the serviceman that repaired my dryer.
