When I used it for my garbage disposal, they got someone lined up to come Monday morning, it was over the weekend I put in the request. I just had to pay the $45 service fee to get it fixed. They were very helpful with my claim.

Twice I have used the warranty. Once for the washer that was clogged up and the other time was to check the heater. They came and checked on everything. They were right on it. They were very helpful and nice.

The only surprising experience I had is when the dishwasher broke and I thought they would replace the whole thing but I got what is called the salvage value which was about 200 dollars to get a new one. Other than that is has been excellent. The person I talk to is very courteous and helpful.

There have been several times that I have used their service but the most notable is when my washer died and the repair man came quickly to find the problem. We had to wait about four days for him to research if it could be fixed. He determined it could no be and Choice Home offered man to go and get another washer.

There have been both good and bad experiences. The price is pretty good but because of low contact fees, a lot of business do not work with Choice. We needed our dryer fixed and it took forever to get someone out here. We had to pay before they came out and there was no contractor willing to do the work because of what choice pays. It literally took a month to get it resolved. Our most recent experience was good. I thought it was going to be long ordeal to get the AC fixed but they had someone contracted the next morning with a reputable.

People have been out quickly for my issues. All the technicians that have come out has been nice and good. We’ve had the locksmith, someone for the washing machine and the AC. The only issue we’ve had was with the AC, it was a hassle.

For the most part Choice Home Warranty is easy to deal with. Sometimes there is an issue, my most recent experience was poor, but overall they are easy. It was just that the person they sent out when my pool pump died was a crook. I called Choice and they gave me five hundred dollars to take care of it myself. The seven year plan is reasonable.

Most of my experiences with them are good. One was not when the service person determined my faucet was not covered but I still had to pay the service fee. I wish it was more straightforward and no surprises. They are pretty responsive whenever you put a ticket in. they call you back immediately. They are pretty.

They say they cover normal wear and tear but that depends on what is broken. Sometimes you have fight for them to cover things they should. Its nice to have when something goes wrong but it can seem like a scam esp since they dont want to replace big ticket items. Ive had to use my warranty plan a lot and its helpful but dont get your hopes up for easy replacement of items.

I don’t agree with some of their rules, like the thirty day period to get things fixed, I think it should be ninety day, but they got my refrigerator fixed so I don’t think the service is bad and I think they are trustworthy.

The salesman presented a very complete and comprehensive coverage for my house with all of the electronics and appliances covered but it seems like they look for reasons to not cover rather than cover and if they do cover it, it takes a great deal of arguing and hassle back and forth to finally get that. My air conditioned compressor went out, it was less than five years old, and the technician they sent out said it was an electrical problem. I had one technician after another come to find if it was covered under the warranty. I had to pay they labor because choice decided they would not cover it. This seems to be a regular thing as it has happened with other customers as well.

I have used the warranty several times for air conditioning and electrical problems and for the refrigerator, but with the refrigerator they had to send out a different technician because the first couldn’t find out what was wrong.
