When you call for service, it seems like the selection of service providers that they use is very limited and so it's rather slow to get service. By the time the service people come out, it can sometimes be a week.

Very disappointed! I submitted a claim on a Wednesday that my furnace wasn't working and I had no heat (in December with an elderly family member in the home). No technician came out until the following Tuesday! After several calls, all I heard was that I just had to wait. Almost a full week without heat! The tech that finally came out was wonderful but Choice was horrible! I've been a Choice customer for 12 years. Time to look elsewhere.

Very disappointed on the service I have not received. At least 3 appointments have been made and the technician has not called or shown up for the appointment. This is totally unacceptable. I have waited for the technician to show, have called on numerous occasions and the mailbox has been full. When I finally got through I left my number and requested that he would call back, needless to say he hasn't. Yes, I'm disappointed because I have patiently waited and my time is valuable and I'm not, repeat not getting the service that I expecting from CHOICE.

I had 2 incidents with my air conditioner this summer where it took WAY too long to get it fixed. I live in phoenix AZ and for us the air conditioner is VERY important. The first time they never got back to me at all and the 2nd time it took over 2 weeks to finish the repairs on our air conditioner. This is unacceptable. I will be switching to a new company, if only for the lower cost of my yearly warranty. Why pay twice as much when I don’t even get good accurate and timely service.

Water Heater went out on a Thursday, called Choice got someone in the Philippine's I could not understand, got another person I could barely understand. Service Company wanted to come out on Monday - 5 days later. I explained I need Hot Water. They sent a tech (spoke only Spanish - I don't) out the next day. He said the Water was Leaking and his company would call Choice. Because of the Choice system of approving requests, I finally got the water heater installed 7 days later at a cost of $645 to me for installation. Did not install the same quality water heater. What Warranty?

It took over 2 months to have a working refrigerator. Many phone calls between calling Sears and Choice. They didn’t reimburse me the full amount it cost to repair refrigerator. If a compressor is under warranty from manufacturer Choice won’t replace but it’s only under manufacturer warranty if Sears replaces and does the labor. Choice will only pay what they would pay their tech which was 1/2 of what Sears charges and no extra parts. So not recommending this company.

I already told you everything. You scammed me. Never came to replace my water heater. I have tens of thousands in water damage because of you. I am in the process of filing complaints with the New Jersey Attorney general's office, the Utah Attorney general's office, the Better Buisness Burea, as well as others. I am submitting reviews on Yelp, Google reviews and others. And I will be suing you in court.

It took 6 appointments to complete the repair to my A/C unit. 3 times i did not even receive a call that they we not going to make the appointment. The repair that was made was not checked and it burned up my breaker and they had to send someone to repair that. In fairness all of the repairmen that i met were very nice, but there is a lot to be desired if you are using EMS. Worst customer service i have ever had. I i couls give them a zero i would.

I made a claim 2 weeks ago and still have not had a repairperson/company call, nor have I had a call from this warranty company. Unfortunately, I paid upfront for a three-year contract so I am stuck. This last claim I ended up paying out of pocket and after reading through the reimbursement process and the reviews from others as to the difficulty in that process with the company, I decided to just eat that charge. I most definitely would not recommend this home warranty company.

Horrible service!! Most claims denied or the service takes so long we have to go elsewhere for repair. After 10 weeks, 4 visits, my heater is finally fixed! The technician was the same each time and made no effort to find the problem. Then when he finally did, it took a month to get the part and install. We have been freezing in a very cold house.

I very dissatisfied with CHW at this time, I had a claim to fix leak in my shower and the plumber came out and did not do good job. There was a continuous trickle of hot water that I was not able to turn off. The plumber said he would be back a month ago and he has yet to return, I called CHW about it and the rep rudely told me that the plumber was coming back and the plumber has NOT returned. So I called my own personal plumber in who fixed the trickle in one visit and caused my water bill not to go up. I'm not happy with CHW and I will not be a customer as soon as my year is. up with them.

Worst home warranty company ever. They lure you in with low rates and claim they cover everything that their competitors cover. Absolutely not! we have a built-in microwave at home, and I verified that it would be covered by the warranty and three years into the warranty it went out. They said they would cover it after my Protest, but would only cover $200 because you could buy a new external microwave for $200. Be smarter than me and go with anyone but Choice Home Warranty.

I very much disliked that I have called you, texted you and emailed you, repeatedly that we needed 20 minutes to 30 minutes notification ahead of your technician's arrival in order for us to leave our work, go to our home and be there for your technician's appointment. The time window for your technician's appointment was between 8 am and 5 pm which I understand you need to do but it is very frustrating on your customer's end to miss work to sit at home waiting for the technician for nine hours. Not happy with it at all! Needed a new furnace but said our old one was supposingly still under warranty! One place said it was another said it wasn't! Nobody could help us and Choice sure wasnt!!! Then our master bath shower was leaking and all they would pay was $148 that left almost $900 to pay. Furnace was $4000. Worst warranty ever! Wouldn't recommend them to my Worst enemy!

Take too long to find technicians if emergency. I understand that you are not an emergency company but there are times when a covered item ( sump pump) causes an emergency. Your specialists are not equipped to handle those situations. And when you ask them to get a supervisor there is never a supervisor around. The last time I had an issue with my sump pump it took almost two weeks to find someone. That was May of 2023. They said everything was fine. Now I have water in my basement. Not pleased at all.

I am an elderly woman who currently had spine surgery. I opened my freezer door and the right side of the door fell on my foot. They are telling me my claim was denied because my freezer door was abused or misused. I do not have the strength to break my freezer door. I am retired and on a budget. I pay close to a thousand dollars a year and $85 for a tech to come out each time and to stay at the most five minutes. I believe I will take my business somewhere else.

I told them that I have a pipe that's leaking and I asked them to please have someone come and fix it as soon as possible because I'm afraid the pipe is going to bust in my basement. If it busts in my basement, then my carpet and my fully furnished basement is going to flood and then that's going to cause more issues. I put in a claim since two or three weeks and they still haven't sent anyone over.

After paying for many years of coverage I was unfairly denied a significant repair that should have been covered. They denied air conditioning repair claiming neglect but I had bills to show my air conditioners had preventive maintenance twice each year I explained that the company they hired was formed was less than 1 year ago and requested a 2nd technician look at the unit which I offered to pay for.The case manager refused to do anything .I would never recommend Choice.
