They gave me a good deal for multiple years but they don’t provide very clear information on what is and isn’t covered, so we thought garage door springs were covered based on what they did have in written in their covered list, but they said it wasn’t. Being vague about coverage isn’t ok with customers.

I have one outstanding claim that remains to be completed. It should have been completed yet getting the contractor to return was a bit difficult. I did call choice and they are having him return but it is not done yet. We had another claim and it was denied. I appealed it and the person who handled that was very dismissive.

I was buying a new home that came with appliances so I didn’t know the state they were in or how long they would last. I have had to have several repairs and replacements using choice warranty. They only gave a fraction of the cost to replace as the appliances were older. If I had understood that ahead of time I probably wouldn’t have purchased. The process for my water heater was so lengthy that we just replaced without assistance so as to not go without hot water for an extended period of time.

I had plumbing issues- I paid a guy $100 to basically do nothing. He told me I needed to replace some kind of pressure release valve (that he never went under the house to see if it needed to be replaced) and come to find out, my house did not even have one. The next plumber sent out discovered this, explained everything to me and took care of it.
