I have signed up with CHW for my primary house and 8 rental properties for the past 2 years. I am happy with the services. It is really a worry free warranty. After paying the service call fee, all costs were mostly covered by CHW. They took care of my heating and cooling system, drains clog, sewer one and appliances. I strongly recommend CHW.

We just purchased a home in Oklahoma. I choose Choice Home Warranty because I had them on my home in Texas. Whenever I have requested service, they send out knowledgeable service workers to repair/fix the problem. I do not have to search on my own to find the right professional to repair/fix my problem, especially since I am not familiar with the companies in Oklahoma. It just takes one more task away that I do not have to focus on. Thank you Choice Home Warranty! Also, the price of the warranty is very affordable.

The peace of mind and convenience of having someone to call is great; however having the monthly premium increase by more than $10 ($120+/year) and having the cost for a claim increase from $75 to $100 is causing me to think about researching for a less expensive option.

Filed a claim on Sunday. Claim was accepted on Monday. Worker came and fixed the issue on Tuesday. Worker came out showed me what was wrong and educated on the issue and told me i can contact him personally and my insurance if something happens again. Service was great.

I have had home warrànty only once before, when I got the call this time. I listened heard some of the same things but changes as well. For me last time was back the 1990s. It was good to hear some things changed some remain the same and quality of service goes up.

Had a plumbing issue and contacted Choice Home Warranty to file a claim. They sent One Good Plumber to me. Mr. Cheneau called stating he would be at my residence to check the issue. He came out immediately took care of issue. I'm pleased with Choice Home Warranty and One Good Plumber.

I chose CHW because I had 3 appliances that are 32 years old. My only complaint was that when my washer quit running, it took CHW 3 weeks to get a technician to come to my home. I didn't mind for my washing machine, but I wouldn't want to be without A/C for 3 weeks in July.

We paid extra for our salt water pool system to be covered, our heater has always been well maintained but is over 20 years old - a plastic cap, which was old and now brittle, came off and they claimed they would not cover this as they said it was not normal wear and tear. It was absolutely wear and tear, and I had two pool technicians say so, including their own technician they sent over ! They said they didn't care how many technicians said that, they would not cover this. Then I said I paid over $3500 for this home warrantee plan and she snapped back you'd had more claims then that! NOT MY FAULT, and is that the reason they don't want to cover this claim, it certainly looks that way - we are taking this to arbitration. They are not covering the heater which is absolutely covered in our contract

It was supposed to be #1 when I chose it. But they are terrible about getting you help when they don’t have a vendor at hand. Takes forever for the reimbursement program. They can’t find a vendor, and I do, they should take care of it, not drag me thru an approval before giving me the ok to have repair made. A/C quits, it needs fixed NOW, not after weeks of red tape while I suffer with NO A/C!

I put in a request to have my refrigerator fixed and 5 weeks later, I had to call LG to get it fixed. The original complaint was the ice machine and I still don’t have the new part. The second complaint was the compressor and Choice denied that. I called LG, it was still under warranty and in 2 days, 2 day, 2 days, the refrigerator is fixed. Still haven’t received the new ice maker from 5 weeks ago.

I’ve been very disappointed in their service being expedited at a timely fashion. They sent out a contractor to fix my Appliance. That contractor decline to provide services. Then the company sent out another contractor who seen even more on interested in investigating my Appliance. Then they said that they would order parts And that was over a week ago and I still haven’t heard back from the second contractor. I am considering withdrawing my service with Choice because this has been going on over three weeks now. I wish they knew competent repair technicians that speak clear English.

Choice is not locked into the service company system they assign when u file a claim. I had to call the service co. assigned to set up an appointment as what Choice gave me was wrong. One company never showed up after I made an appointment so I had Choice give me another one which delayed getting my problem water heater started again over a week. I also don't think Choice give you a fair buy out on an appliance. I will look for another warranty company when my 3 years are up.

I've had to call Choice two times. The first time for a microwave and it didn't take that long and they fix it. The second time for a washer. They told me it would be up to 45 days before they could get me a gift card from Lowe's to purchase a washer. After 3 weeks of having to go to the laundromat every week I called and asked them to send me the check that I was going out and buying the washer that day. They told me they would do that. I am still waiting for that check and it's very close to 45 days now

I have canceled my warranty with choice home warranty. I was quoted $396.00 for three years and six months free. The payment was going to be in three installments, I said okay, when I got my first bill it was $475and change. I called Jonathan. back and he said that he would see what he could do and asked me to wait. When he took too long I hung up.!I got hold of A MANAGER and she said she would get back to me in 24-48 hours. Never heard from her. I called Citi bank and dispute the charge and it was canceled.

My only issue is the amount they cover, I'm down about 3k, this year. I've had 3 issues and and barely covered. I have a 75$ per visit and then i have to pay for install and in some cases I've paid over 80% of cost to get out down right, they claim they are responsible. Some items seem to be covered while others are not clear. After a claim was denied, I requested an appeal and was given a review, but no feedback afterwards on the review by the case manager. It was pretty straightforward, but was left up to me to make contact rather than addressing the issue after my appeal. Obviously, they will will continue to deny the claim for whatever reason, so I'm chose not to play their game.

They were pretty good on some repairs and a huge nightmare on others. I do NOT care to use them again as they put me through at least 4 horrible experiences including my last teair. They scheduled me 2 weeks out and then did not show. Then the company had no ticket gor the tepair and Choice put me into forever review until they reported the repair as completed when no one ever showed up to do the repair while Im out of the country. I e had to pay a lot of money for a maid service to take my Airbnb laundry to a laundromat because my dryer was never repaired!!!! Who needs this kind of hassle. The year of hell they put me through for my shower controller lost me a months rent $3000 and a lost tenant and a yeat if hell while I was traveling the world. They never fixed it and I had to hire my own olumber to finally replace the faucet that one of their 7 plumbers they sent over 1+ year broke!!!! Who wants this in their life???? Not me!!!!

A white girl it was provided for my electronic fireplace to be repaired. Gentleman who received a request stated that he didn’t work on fireplace. I received no follow back up from choice. I call a few weeks later to figure out what happened and was told that choice don’t service fireplace. That situation could have been handled better.

I liked that most times the appointment Was made that day the claim was made. I am mad about having a job done that was okayed, but they wanted the work to be done by this very unprofessional plumber. I was not confident in him so I had a plumber I knew do the job. We took pictures, had the paperwork of the water heater I purchased and they would not reimburse me for what they said they would do for the plumber they sent out. $450 is a lot of money to me.
