First claim we ever put in was denied. It was overturned later, but we had to go weeks without our pool pump. Worst customer service ever. Will not be renewing. Going back with Fidelity. Never had a claim denied. Fidelity is a great home warranty.

Poor communication with vendors. Waited 3 weeks for a simple ice maker repair. Customer service representative unable to assist. Had to run issue up to manager for issue to be resolved. For this reason I decided not renew after 5 years and take my business to American Home shield.

If you live in a rural area like I do, don't bother. They say (CHW) covers you but, it takes them days or even weeks to get something fixed. I was without a refrigerator for over a month. Then I had to FIGHT with them to finally realize that the refrigerator I had couldn't be fixed.

The warranty coverage is fairly good, but the claims resolution process is horrible! Claims reps have the authority to reject a case, and customers have no recourse other than small claims. I believe their management either knows about this and believe it saves the company money, but the PR is very lacking!

Repairs take forever. Repair was scheduled for 11 AM to 3 PM Received a text at noon that the part necessary for the repairs was not available yet and the repair needed to be rescheduled for two weeks later. Due to the lack of advanced notification, I lost a day of work, not happy

Some of the contractors they have sent to my home are well below competent. Also I paid extra to add coverage on my stand alone icemaker and they entered it as a second refrigerator. When I had a claim on the icemaker, I had to pay another $200 for icemaker coverage which basically corrected their mistake.

I find it interesting that I received an email asking for my rating, when TWO separate emails I sent regarding my very first claim went unanswered! At the least the previous home appliance warranty providers had open lines of communication! So far, my first interaction with Choice STINKS!

Bad Business What happened to same day or the next day? Then you email an appointment day for a week later, without confirming with us. What if we’re not going to be there? Then you’ll get there and need parts. That’s another week. Not happy. Might cancel and look for a better company

It's been over 3 wks and my problem is still ongoing. No direct communication method for problems with claim. Long delays with repair vendor with long waits and no show. Not happy. There has to be some easy way to talk to both Choice and the repair vendor they select. Not worth the money at this point.

Choice routinely finds “fine print” to deny coverages. Example: Hot water heater developed a leak. Choice declined coverage stating they do not cover “storage tanks”. After denial another company found a leaking pipe at the top of tank. Choice refused to reopen case.

Hot water was leaking and had to wait for a second repair appointment since choice refused the first tech they sent out meanwhile I was doing without hot water so I had to have it fixed out of my own pocket which choice refused to reimburse. I spent 120 dollars for the show up fee on that service call.
