Overall, this is a good warranty company. I have had prompt service and follow up when needed. My issue is with the policy of paying companies multiple times for coming out after misdiagnosis of the issue. There’s a limit to how much each repair or replacement can cost. The repair visits are deducted from that amount. In my case, the company came three times and finally decided it couldn’t be repaired. Why wasn’t this diagnosed on the first visit and if not why does the consumer bear the cost? This company’s ineptitude cost me 200.00 of my limit, leaving me with next to nothing on the policy to replace it. A better practice would be to have the company absorb the cost if the misdiagnosis of the problem or they fail to properly repair the appliance on the first visit. Otherwise, it’s an incentive for them not to do it right, if they can run up the charges. I don’t ever want them to refer that company to me again for repair of my appliances.

I needed to use it for my HVAC, and we called somebody to come and fix it. And it took a few days to get out. And then after they finally made it out, even within a 2 weeks time span, the HVAC was still not working, and it was over a hundred degrees outside. And it was very hot inside and it was during the summertime. So it was not a good experience. But they did write off on me to get a private company to come out and fix the problem. And of course, I had to pay the $89 fee and about $300 out of pocket to get it repaired. However, the actual repair would have cost about $1,500. So it just saved me, you know, about $1,300 in the end. I have another one with my oven, but they gave me the option to get it fixed or give me money to actually just purchase a new one. So it was like a heavy discount. They gave me money to actually get a new one.

When we have gone through 2-10 they've been really good to contact a contractor or whoever they had to contact to come out and and help us. We haven't used them that many times. When our A/C went out on the 4th of July weekend one year, they were actually very quick to try and get somebody out here. Even though it took two or three calls to get somebody here in a day or two, they were on top of it. It's changed over the years. They don't cover as much as they used to cover and their prices have gone up quite a bit over the years we've had them. So I was kind of disappointed in reading what they cover now because there were quite a few things that they had dropped off the list.

They always come through in one way, shape, or form to deal with the issue. I think it was 2 January of 2015 or '14. It was really cold, like a high of 19 degrees here in Hinesville and our HVAC unit went out. I called up 2-10 warranty. The guy came out and seemed to have fixed it for a little bit, the heat worked for like a day. Then it went out again. I called 2-10 again. They found a different person to come out and they came out and they actually said the unit has got to be replaced. And and I was like, well, let's go ahead and do this, whatever 2-10 covers. And so I paid a certain amount and I had a new unit. I think it was $900 where it would have been 6000 without 2-10 warranty. So that really helped our family that winter.

We've purchased homeowners warranties with them for several other houses and we've always been happy with their service. They've done everything I asked them to do. The warranty's fine. I can tell you about the last time I used it, which was a few weeks ago, on one of my HVAC units. The air conditioning stopped working completely. We have an upstairs unit and a downstairs unit. The upstairs stopped working and I called and turned it in and they sent someone out and he was a very nice man. He came out and when he was leaving the problem was fixed or appeared to be fixed and then about an hour later it quit working again. So I called him back and still he was very nice and he came out first thing the next morning and he worked on it again and when he left it was working and then about 8 hours later it quit again. So I had to re-initiate a claim with 2-10 and several days went by and they sent someone else out who has apparently managed to fix it because it's been working now for a week or so.

Excellent customer service. They've always called to give you the information of the people, I don't have to look it up online again. But the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like there's hidden fees. My impression was that I pay once a year the 800, 900, and then when they call out I pay 85. But when I have put in orders 50% of the time there is an issue that has to be worked on and then they say well you have to pay 125 in addition to the $85. So I don't think that's fair. I think those are hidden fees. So for instance like a water heater. I had to have a water heater replaced. I did not realize that I had to wait like a period of 60 days or something before they would fix anything. Even though I already paid the money ahead, I had to wait. So things like that, that I don't feel like were advertised and that I had to wait on. So that's why I don't have 100% satisfaction. But does everything get fixed? Generally yes, and for a reasonable price.

Great customer service by 2-10. Often not so great customer service by the assigned technicians (often long waiting times). The technicians can say the greatest nonsense, and you can have the greatest arguments and even proof, yet 2-10 will always go with the technician information. Now, that is not a bad thing per se, but in some cases it is blocking the real solution. E.g. I am an engineer myself, and it took us almost 10 years to get a repeatedly overheating dryer fixed, because the technician insisted on a blocked vent as cause, but refused to check, but also refused to accept our own investigation (it was never blocked). When the control board finally broke completely and had to be replaced, suddenly everything worked normally again. Until then we always had to set it to low temperatures. But some assigned technicians were really fast and worked well. Then there are some silly small things that are suddenly not supported (like a condense water sensor switch in the AC - the biggest things can break and will be replaced, but not the small, cheap little parts; I consider this to be crazy). So, it is kind of a roulette game. But mostly you win.

Every time that we've contacted them, 2-10 Home Warranty has been very quick to respond and has always been supportive of us as a customer and helped us to get whatever the issue was resolved, usually in a timely manner. And I understand some things will spill through the cracks, but so far they've been very helpful. Our heater went out the day before a major freeze, so we called 2-10. Unfortunately it ended up taking almost a month to get that fixed. They were very responsive when we called, but getting the work order from 2-10 to the technician seemed to take a long time and communication between 2-10 and the technician was slow only when we elevated to come to a resolution, but then it came to a resolution very quickly.

I had a terrible experience early on. Every time I called, I was put on hold forever and then transferred to somebody else who knew nothing about what the conversations were. It was the dead middle of winter and I had no heat, and it was snowing out and they didn't consider that an emergency, and I had two young children in my house. So that part was bad. One other time they had somebody come out to fix something who didn't do the job properly, didn't even check something, and turns out I had a gas leak in my attic by the heat and he hadn't even check it. He was supposed to have repaired it, never touched it. I only found out because I smelled something so I did call 2-10, 2-10 got in touch with the owner of the company, the owner was pretty horrified and he came out and fixed it himself. My house could have exploded. But occasionally they will just go with the cheapest whoever and that can be a problem. But in general it's been very positive. Usually when something goes wrong and I need service, it's handled quickly. I usually get a call that day to set up service for typically the next day or maybe two days out. I pay that premium every month, it has more than paid for itself every single year and how much I saved by having that insurance when I have to have things repaired, so that's why I continue to renew and I also recommend it to friends.

I've used them a few times and up until this point, it's been pretty good. My oven stopped working, it took a a very long time to get a repair person out, about a week, and when they came out they had to get a part and so they came back in another week, and the part came right away so it was just scheduling with the availability. But I went 2 weeks without an oven and then my oven stopped working again and it was the same thing, so I called 2-10 because I didn't know how to make sure I wasn't paying another $150 for the same problem that wasn't fixed. I asked if I would be charged again and they said it all depends if this is a new problem or if it's the same one, and they said we can't get someone out there for 2 weeks, which is insane, unless I go through another vendor instead of the one that we used last time, but then I said am I going to get charged because it's a new vendor, even if it's the same problem, and they said they weren't sure but probably. So I ended up having to go with the one that's 2 weeks out and I'm still not even clear that they knew the answer and I think they're just telling me what they wanted to tell me to get off the phone and move on.

Most times it was very easy process. I just went online, put in the request and I always received a call back in a very timely manner from the company that they contracted with. And I would say 8 times out of 10 the the resolved and it was easy. From my understanding the idea is that they wanted to fix things before they really break, yet a couple times I was denied repairs because things weren't really broken yet. There was clearly something wrong, so I called a different company and they did some repairs and fixed the issue. Also hold times are way too long and I can't take the music for too long.

I really do feel like they're a good company and they're very professional. I do like them a lot. Overall they're really good at their job, but it seems like they hired a couple people that don't fully understand what's going on with issues for AC and emergencies. It was about 90 degrees in the house and I was trying to convey that this is an emergency situation and that didn't really click on their half until I got a hold of someone to push it. It took a very long time and multpile cnractors and visits to get the AC repaired, but when we had a plumbing issue I had a call from a contractor and an appointent set 10 minutes after submitting the claim. They've been really good except for the AC thing.

I don't have any complaints with 2-10. They have taken care of everything that I have needed. It has been worth the cost of the warranty. I used the warranty for the washing machine. The first company had no communication and didn't do their job. And they didn't tell me what was going on. But then the second company came out. I thought they had it fixed. And when they came back out to reverse the line to be correct the problem was still there, the washing machine was leaking and it took the second company about three times to come out to get it fixed. But the last company that came out was awesome. The only complaint I have with them is that they didn't call to let me know when they were going to be here. It was late when he got finished since he went above and beyond when he was here. He did an awesome job. Everybody that I've talked to has been friendly. The only complaint I have is the wait time when I called.

They could do better screening of the contractors that they work with. Sometimes you get some that take a while to show up or are not very receptive to communication and some of them are pretty good. On one occasion we had the refrigerator doors leaking and we had a company come out here and they had new seals, but thei seals were already bent and not in good shape and we them come back out and get different seals because it was a problem that they were not in good condition. There's a couple time when it was very difficult to get a hold of the contractors to come and do some work but for the most part they've been pretty good and receptive.

I wish I would have had more options and control but also I enjoyed how he handled everything from start to finish as far as scheduling stuff like that. There was a misshapen pit under my sink that was ill fitting. So over time it started to leak. And so I chose to use my warranty to call in and get back. They should really check into the vendors that they're using, I called the many complaints about the plumbing and I did experience delays and a lack of communication from the plumbing company, however when they did come to fix everything it took the guy was maybe five minutes to do it and I was pleased with the service and speak with the technician but I just think they're either overbooked and there's not enough that. And they should maybe try to have more than one company that we can toggle between.

Their customer support was fine and they were very responsive. So the week before thanksgiving my washer stopped spinning so that Monday before thanksgiving I put in an online service request. I knew that it was a holiday week. I knew nothing was gonna happen but I didn't hear back from anybody so the Tuesday after thanksgiving I called and said what's the scoop. They told me who which service company have been assigned to me and give me their phone number and so I followed up with them and I left three messages the course of that week and they never returned my call a week later I called back to two ten. and said okay I'll call company A they have not responded what our next steps so they assigned me company B to fix my washer company B responded right away but they couldn't send anybody out for two more weeks. Well two more weeks turned into four more weeks turned into the first week of January to first week of January somebody finally came out and assess my situation. He determined I needed two more parts so then they got ordered and of course that took a couple of weeks and so then the next part came and now we're towards the end of January and when he took it apart to put in that part he discovered two more part needed to be ordered should in those parts got order then of course it's an older washing machine so that part didn't exist so then two ten said okay the appliance people to find it we'll see if we can find it, well I had to let that sit for two weeks and says the middle of February and now we're February I still don't have a washer we determined that okay the parts were never going to be available and two ten cash me out so that I can go purchased of the washer. I wish they'd been a little more proactive instead of me constantly calling out.

I've only used it twice for my dryer it's a Maytag commercial dryer that was here when we bought the house and I think the belt or something came loose and twice and I have somebody come out and fix it and and everything worked out fine, however this last time my hot water heater went out and I was under the impression that we had insurance for the hot water heater and everything that went with it and I was totally shocked when we had out of pocket I had to pay a hundred dollars for the gentleman to come and then I had to give him another five hundred and thirty five dollars that was a shock. which I didn't expect. I like my policy and I didn't see anything saying our hot water heater you will be responsible for. When I call they usually get right back to me and and they follow up and the customer service is excellent.

2-10 responded very quickly to calls despite the pandemic. A few months after purchasing my home, I needed a repair to my stove. Instead of getting the repair, 2-10 offered me a rebate to replace it. The form was fairly very simple to file and I received funds within a month or so. Although I enjoy the perks of having 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, I feel like they could offer a little more. I feel like there's a lot of contingencies associated with the plan itself that need to be clearly explained. For instance, if your washing machine is in the kitchen, you have to have an add-on for that. It perplexed me because when I asked the service person they did not clarify that there was a difference, so initially, I didn't have that service until the following year.

My air conditioning was not working so I call them, the first person who was assigned did not show up and call. So I called them and then about a week later they still didn't show up and they said they were going to come again finally I called two ten and they sent out a new person. But it was not declared by another hundred dollars or not so before that I called again and the representative who helped me there very, very helpful and sorted out everything for me and I'm refunding our hundred dollars. And second time everything got replaced . He sorted out everything and make it right .Well it was a good experience. They were able to resolve my issue it's just a factor relief with just one call that's very good.

I was just really irritated with the whole process. I mean it's extremely difficult, if I wanted to call and talk to somebody at their company it's almost impossible to see that we are on the phone forever and you finally give up and hang up. I just recently used it for an electrical issue at my house at the first company that they sent out. The guy didn't do anything and he didn't explain why. Because the thing was working until he left and the problem happened again, you call them out again the same thing happen, it happened to be working when he was there so he said there's nothing you can do if it is working and happened during that day. After multiple calls they were finally able to find the issue. I think it's extremely difficult to call in and actually get somebody on the phone.

My conversation with the people I spoke with was good. I guess what I'm disappointed with is the coverage because we've got an issue that it's not covered. We used our warranty when our furnace quit and we they set up a an appointment with a heating and air-conditioning company. We called on Friday the company did not come out until Monday or Tuesday, but it was a very cold weekend so no heat in our house and no fireplace to keep us warm was a little bit disconcerting because it was one of the colder weekends that we've experienced here in north Carolina. I'm disappointed that they don't cover fireplace repair

The agents are very pleasant the people, the people that come to fix my house are very pleasant its just I didn't understand some of the things as far as the service they provide but overall they've done a great job on the repairs between 2018 and 2022. We've had two problems with both air conditioners and it was excellent. George did a great job repairing the air conditioner so overall I'm pleased. I think there should be better literature when I'm renewing so I'll understand better what I'm covering and also the prices of everything I just think its very compact my husband understood it but I did not because I did not initially set up the program and so I thought they gave me the price. They covered the same service that I had before the price went up so I assumed it was the same service but it was not and so I think the literature should have better explanations as to of a renewal costumer so that they are aware of exactly what services they're receiving

The recent experience I had has been great but there has been at least one time where it was a challenge.It's been virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone from costumer support. In august 2020 when our compressor went out outside we were forced to wait about two weeks to have it repaired because 2-10 decided to find the cheapest part rather than trying to source it locally and have the repair done quickly. So rather than buying the part locally they purchased it somewhere else within united states which delayed the repair and forced my family and myself to wait two weeks in the middle of summer in Arizona where temperature reached a hundred plus consistently everyday. However this last time it was very quick and done professionally.

I have been with 2-10 for approximately 4 years. Any problem we've had with appliances, air conditioner, heater, etc. they have all been repaired or replaced promptly and our satisfaction. The only complaint I have is that it took my oven six months to be repaired. I had to go with 3 different technicians before the last company figured out the problem and fixed it. I was without my oven through the summer, could not cook for Thanksgiving, nor the Christmas holiday. I kept reaching out to them to find out when I could get my double oven repaired or replaced and told me it was the technician's fault (partially it was). But, when i found out I wasn't going to have it fixed by Christmas I called and asked to speak to a supervisor he never came to the phone to answer my questions. He relayed messages through the representative that answered the phone. He said, "there was nothing he could do" That wasn't cool.

They just changed the module to be more user friendly, but previously it was always down or something you have to call in to to make service request but the other thing about the service request is that towards the end of the period they'll tell you that you run out they can only do one system at time and they don't tell you that. I have supreme services and they'll say you've exceeded your dollar amount and you can't even put in the service request, that's ridiculous and and you've got to know the name or what it is you want once you tell did you call and tell me the name is and then those oh oh you're covered with that but why even bother to put it in online there in years and it's gonna be tonight then you got a call and explain it to me what's going on all units making all you need this you know I would be calling for a new what I needed if you know in terms of the problem.

I have no problem with 2-10 warranty but I had an issue with the subcontractor that they sent was not able to solve the problem and they charged me like 4 times higher than it should have been. I had a plumbing leaked and unfortunately the initial plumber that was contacted was 2-10 came by was unable to fix the issue the first time but it came back a second time and they charged me another hundred dollars even though they said they charge a hundred dollars for visit because it was a recurring issue and then they gave me a super high quote like over two thousand dollars to fix the issue which I ended up using a third party plumber to fixed the issue for like five hundred bucks. 2-10 did provide me with fund to be able to hire a third party plumber to fixed my issue. Customer support really got back with me and gave me service options.

I have had two repairs (built in microwave and stove top/oven combination). Both were covered. They paid me the full price of the microwave repair when a technician could not been found in my area. I was able to use the money to purchase and install a replacement microwave. The stove/oven has been repaired. It took some time because of the delay nationally with getting parts. I would give 2-10 5 Stars except sometimes it has been difficult to reach them by phone. Everyone who I have worked with at 2-10 has been understanding of my issues and very helpful in resolving them. Excellent company, but needs better phone service.

It took longer than it should have because the first company that came out didn't care enough to fix the problem. Maybe not all of the contractors are fully vetted. The first company that came out for my issue was not good. It's really easy to file claims and the couple times I've had to call because the contractors can't finish that they when I called back I got it taken care of. Air conditioner wasn't working properly the first company came out didn't really fix that so I contacted the warranty company again and told him that I needed a different vendor to come out because I didn't trust the first people that didn't fix it and second people came out and found the problem pretty quick and then got repaired.

Overall they seem to be very responsive and to get service people out here right away to work on issues. I have had two service calls, positive one was when the garbage disposal quit working so I put in the put a request online. First contractor contacted me then had a scheduling conflict and backed out so they got me to a second contractor and that one was in my house to replace the garbage disposal within like two days. And the second time, I had an issue with my dishwasher. I put the ticket in, the service contractor came out, ordered the parts and so it took about two to three weeks. Got the parts in, when they just left without really finishing the job, I mean, the dishwasher won't work at all. When I elevated and I never heard back but I did resubmitt the ticket and they sent same contractor to come and at least get the door to shut but it's still the initial issue with the dishwasher is still isn't resolved and it's been I don't know five weeks or six weeks. Still waiting to hear back from from the company because they also did some damage to my counter top as well to the contract so I really want to get another contractor to fix it up.

I haven't had any problems with my warranty, I just wish they covered service. I needed to use it recently for a water heater that was putting out water and the the technician called me immediately, which I love, and he came out the next day and fixed the problem really quickly. I've used in the past for an air conditioning company that I actually use outside of my warranty now because I like the air conditioning company so much. I've had good experiences. I've used it three times I also had a refrigerator repair and I really did like the guy that came out to repair the refrigerator too. I had good experiences with customer support. I haven't had any bad experiences when I needed to talk to someone.

If you have to call the office directly it becomes pretty confusing. They need a customer service answering system where you have one or two people that you talk to they could route your calls. The last time we used it was for refrigerator repair and we pulled up the website, we put in the problem and we got a name of a repairman pretty quickly. The repairman they gave us couldn't make it for a while so they gave us another one and that worked out well enough. So the system works as long as you're online. It's just when there is an exception, if there's a problem where you have to actually call then it becomes a little more difficult. The charge is not bad, 100 dollars or whatever the premiums in sales are okay, they could be a little lower but they're not bad.

They've been responsive, they try to do what they can. I think there have been a couple of things out of their control they weren't able to respond to as far as getting people there as quick as they can, but that was only one time, so for the most part it's been very responsive and friendly. I think that that's pretty much it, there is an insurance for your for your house equipment and they've pretty much done that for the deal that they made. The people that they sent out have been good vendors. The air conditioner broke and I filed the warranty online, I had a call from the vendor within a day and they schedule a time to come out. One time was within a day and the next time it was a little bit longer but that was because of the season.

They're generally pretty helpful but it's really hard to get through to them and sometimes it takes being transferred around to multiple agents before you get to someone who can actually help you. Our oven display stoped functioning and the oven wasn't come on and so I did a warranty call. They came out and it's a pretty new oven but they said that the tech said that he wasn't sure they were able to find a part for it because there was a part shortage and that they might have to replace the entire thing and he didn't think the warranty would cover it. However 2-10 was able to track down a part and get it completely repaired. For the most part we've had some pretty good techs, 2-10 is always very responsive. They've dispatched people fairly quickly but some of the vendors that they work with are great some of them are really terrible so you never really know what you're going to get when somebody comes out.

Everybody at 2-10 is responsive and helps, but I think sometimes it gets confusing with vendors and takes a while to get a part. We just used the warranty in January. We had our refrigerator stop refrigerating--basically it would not keep cold--and we put in an online request, which was great. Within 24 hours we got an email saying our request was received and that we would have somebody come out and take care of it. Unfortunately, it took a week for this to happen, and the guy who came out said that he wasn't qualified to service our refrigerator, so he sent it back to 2-10 and then it took another week for a second and then a third vendor to be assigned to our ticket. By the time the third vendor came out, he said that whatever the first vendor had said was incorrect, and he just changed out the cooling element. So, it took about three and a half to four weeks for our fridge to get fixed so that was an issue that we had.

You guys have actually done a pretty good job at responding. When I call you guys up, you try your best to get the best service I could get in the shortest time. We have really only had one problem in the middle of the summer we had our air conditioning unit go out and someone couldn’t come out for one week and here in Tucson that's not good enough so we had to call somebody else and have them come fix it sooner. I could give you two more examples of times I have used my warranty. I have my washing machine break you had a guy come out he repaired it and fixed it and the service charges now up to a hundred dollars but Hey I said just everything going up, that's one example the guy was very courteous the guy was really did his job and he's quick in fact he's out he was on time here recently I had my hot water heater go out and I learned that number one did you replace the hot water heater yes he did but it doesn't cover anything else but the person who actually had to take the old one out and put the other one in I had to pay for that and any damages just to the house cause by the hot water heater of course I had to have my home insurance pick that up.

I think that it's a cool service and it's very helpful and we've definitely utilized it but I think there's potential problems with getting a contractor to follow through. The first three times we filed for claims, the work was great. This last one has been very unsatisfactory because the contractor that 2-10 is using is a terrible communicator. Well this last time, our heat has been stuck on. We had a company out and he figured out what the problem was really quick, told us what it would be--that was a month ago--and they're just waiting on a part. He says he's waiting on 2-10 to order the part 2-10 says they're waiting on him to order the part. I've called about ten times and I can't get ahold of the contractor. I've called 2-10 Warranty and we're in the middle of a pandemic so I have to wait on hold for about twenty minutes every time I call and then I get told something different every time. I would say for the most part, my experience with 2-10 has been really great. I think the inter-company communication can be really tricky--the only time I've gotten a 2-10 employee to call me has been when they were trying to sell me something.

When I call to talk to someone, I can tell them what's going on and usually within twenty-four to forty-eight hours, the company that contacted will get in touch with me. I've actually called them several times about different items like one was my microwave wasn't working or another time my dishwasher wasn't working in some cases the company they hired was able to fixed it that day in other cases it sometimes took weeks to get the part available where the company or 2-10 to figure out who's got the cheapest part and get it back to me. So far, the people that they've gotten in touch with me have been pretty decent and know what they're doing--2-10 tries to get better people to your home.

Overall a 3 company. I have used them multiple times, multiple years. The repairs usually get done within a reasonable time. The point is: they are a repair company. So they will always try to repair. I have had one issue and that was with my very old stove. The parts literally were not available anymore! The communication between departments was terrible (cuz they are all working from home) and I literally did not have my oven/stove for 7 weeks!! TONS of phone calls. So that was VERY stressful and they would NOT budge and get done what needed to be done. Other than that claim, everything else has been repaired satisfactorily. I am glad I have had this warranty, it has saved me a lot in getting repairmen out to the house!
