The company's customer service is unprofessional and systemically prevent cancelation of service through misunderstanding requests, failing to follow through, and then continuing to bill for continued service. I will be using another company from now on.

Extremely fraudulent billing and literally stole money out of my bank account. Took payments for 2.5 years out of my account and refused to refund any portion. Just don't try to leave them. Then one lie after another to excuse their behavior.

I would not recommend this security company . They don't upgrade equipment when they or the ones who say you need it. Equipment gives false alarms and you give them secret word but police still show up costing you money. If you call them you will wait 30 minutes to talk to someone. I don't think anyone should use this security company.

Do not trust them China Spring, TX

From day one I have had issues with this company. Most recently had an alarm event (front door was pushed open) alarm rang for 4 minutes and I had already turned off the alarm before anyone from the dispatch center called me to see if I needed help. Worthless company!!!

I received notification that my alarm system is saying forced entry. I contacted the monitoring service and was told that they don't have permission to alert the police . I am confused . What am I paying for in ? Do I need to retain a lawyer to terminate my contract ?

We have tried 6 times over the last 4 months to attempt to cancel our service in conjunction with a move. Understand before you subscribe that it is nearly impossible to cancel the service. They intentionally make it convoluted and fail to follow through on commitments to provide follow up communication or correspondence.

When you’re a new customer they will answer you quick, once you’re an existing customer and are having issues with your system you need to reserve a whole day just to talk to them. I was on hold for over 2+ hrs and decided to hang up no answer what so ever.

These people are crooks, I cancelled service and they still keep trying to bill me to the point where I had to have my credit card company refuse their charges. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! DO NOT USE THEM! We switched alarm companies and they still think we're with them! Called them over and over about it, so now we just ignore them and trash the bill.

Not happy with the company. The alarm system was installed at my mothers house, but in my name, because she was elderly. Unfortunately my mom passed away over 2 years ago and Protect America holds me responsible for the remaining payments even though it has been disconnected when my mom died! Very sad, no compassion, but very greedy!

Renewed service after 3 years. Was told 3 different things on equipment. Did not receive what I agreed on. Was told to pay $5 fee to return item I was supposed to receive. Agent would not waive fee to take care of customer. Frustrated customer who is just looking to get what they agreed on.

used car sales men type calls, I would have signed up for sure, value was great and equipment as well but the constant sales calls were so annoying it pissed me off and I went elsewhere.

My issue with my doorbell is still unresolved and when I call in it is only a temporary fix. Need to get on the phone again with your technical support and hope that you will send a technician once and for all otherwise after a year of service I guess I need to find another provider.

Beware, please read the other reviews about how Protect America will continue to automatically charge your account even after your contract is over. They will also shake you down for $5 to terminate your service even after you have fulfill your contract. They are shady

Attempted to cancel, spoke to customer support, they worked to lower it, since I didn't want to, I was put on hold for 25 minutes to cancel it. When I was finally connected, they said I had to cancel in writing. Ugh! Must have bad management.

Will not honor original contract. After 3 years, they say they do not have to honor the agreement made with me by the company that installed it. Now, they refuse to cancel my services, saying that I must give 30 days notice. They didn't give me 30 days before refusing to honor my original contract.

Moni Security System has the worse customer service and for service , In all my years of living I have never seen a service so poor. Actually they are the worse, they do not even respond to a problem. Thank god I have my sig Sauer 45 ACP. MONItronics is a nightmare to deal with. Their system is the bare minimum and easily defeated. Their billing is terrible. And, they screw you at renewal time on the contract. I get robocalls from their advertising department at least once a week --- a I am already a customer (but wish I was not)!

I have had to pay for service that I have not gotten for 4 months and will only be credited for one month. They cancelled and rescheduled appointments without notifying me, so I missed time off work. last I knew a contract was a legal binding document. I guess not in this case because I was not at fault, they were.

Alarm was installed improperly. $49 a month for 2 years. Police called 5 times for no reason . Didn't use anymore. They won't turn it off and still charging. Will not cancel account. I am taking them to small claims court and let a judge decide. Even if I lose it is worth the time and money to have the company exposed for what they are.

LIVEWATCH i have photos of used equipment sent to me as a new customer and live wires hanging from the device . Crimped wire leads on back with open screws , you cant even make this up. Sent me a knock off was supposed to be GE equipment and used!i have photos of this crap they sent me!

Long on-hold time when you call for tech support. You have to repair equipment yourself, and you must give them 30 days advance notice to cancel or they will charge you, as they did me, for an extra month. Protect America protects their bottom line.
