Just gathering specs & costs for comparison. Have not signed with any company yet. Most likely will not be Protect America though due high pressure sales effort - received multiple calls per day, for several days, including late evenings & Saturday/Sunday, when I told the initial caller we were not ready to commit & I would contact them when ready.

I was with Moini for over 5 years. I got a divorce and had to sell my house. They repaid my loyalty by trying to keep me in a contract for an additional 13 months past my house sale date. Like several people below I also just filed a claim with the BBB. They must be real desperate for customers. When I moved out of my last house ADT canceled the remainder of my contract with no issues. This is the difference between a high grade business and a poor grade struggling business. Don't get tricked into doing business with this company.

Salesperson states that you have to use "their" equipment and it is "free". Tells me my equipment is outdated. (it is a 2gig brand new whole house automation ) BS. Gives me monitoring rate and tells me that rate includes the cost of equipment after telling me equipment was "free". Called her out on it and she became defensive. Deceptive sales practices...no thank you!

this company beware they are crooks they raise thier fees without notification customer satisfaction is not thier concern they are all about money and not about people wish i would researched better buyer beware zero star rating in opinion unforutnately i have to deal with them for 2 more years unless i buy out my contract my representative said I was locked in for 3 years on my cost dont get this company if on fixed income they raise rates without notification read fine print rip off BUYER BEWARE RUN WHILE YOU CAN

While on the telephone with the company because the system had reported a sensor problem, someone at the company called the police and reported that there was a burglary in progress. We had paid for the month of July the day before that and were told we could not get a refund, but a month after we had cancelled our service the made an ACH withdrawal from our bank account. I called them and they told me too bad.

I have been a customer for 8 years. Now that I go to cancel and they insist they charge me for another month. This is for my own protection they tell me. My contract with them was completed years ago. They say I can sigh up again at a reduced rate. Do I look like I just fell off the turnip truck. I will never deal with this company again!!! They charge an extra month just to cancel my account! Not a happy camper. Avoid this company. I will check out Simply Safe.

I have spent 2 months trying to get full connectivity on my system. I have a detached garage and the sensors for the door, window and the motion detector continue to lose contact and report failures. They have been out to fix it twice with no resolution. I have to contact the techs to schedule service, MONI does not. They use 3rd party techs and I think this group is more interested in selling the contract revenue than customer satisfaction. At least as far as my installation is concerned.

I have had the system in for 1 month now and it never worked. Customer service is excellent, friendly, patient but i have yet to have a Ready to alarm green bar on the main panel. I have been on with tech support 6 or more times (an hour or more each time) they try but we can't get it working. I will try one more tech call back but if not the whole system is getting returned. It was supposed to be easy but it has been a very frustrating experience and i have missed so much work !

Been with this company for 10 plus years. C/S has become obsolete for the last couple of years took 3 phone calls and over 30min to talk to someone over the phone last night their new voice jail is ridiculous. Paying $44 a month for aggravation. I use Simplisafe at my business for the last 18 months at half the price and couldn't be happier. Will install at the house next month. STAY AWAY FROM MONI.

We had a security service for two years, so far it was good. The house was sold this May and then the company simply denied a cancellation, even negotiation of cancellation. We have to pay for another 40 months to fulfill contract obligation. We are contacting a lawyer to handle the case. DO NOT sign a long term contract with this company. The agent was rude and even didn't escalate the case to the manager.

Customer service is terrible. If you a long term customer and having issues with the equipment, they pass you from person to person to try and renew your contract rather than resolving your issue. Their technical support is only open from 7 am to midnight. And It takes at least a week for someone to come out and resolve your issue. Their equipment is subpar. and you have the change the batteries in their outdated equipment way to often. Image having to hear a beeping sound for an entire week. Stay Away from them.

Tried to cancel after 30 months of service due to transfer out of state was told could not because of locked in 36 month contract.. NO EXCEPTIONS. Tried to prepay remaining 6 months told could not had to have payment deducted every month and call back in 5 months to give 30 days notice to cancel. Horrible policy. Would not recommend. You never know what can happen in 36 months and I never heard of a company that would not take a prepaid payment!

I had this alarm system for years. I got sick and couldn't work. I called to cancel it and was told that my contract had 6 months left. I paid for 6 months and then called and was told I had 3 months more. They lie and can't be trusted if you try to cancel.

I had Brinks system installed in my home about 14 years ago. Luckily I have not had any break-ins so I don't have experience with them having to notify the local police dept. But I am happy with the system.

My family for years used Brinks security alarms. The systems worked great, but did get extremely buggy as it aged a few years. Their systems are reliable and I never had major issues while visiting my parents.
