They charge a lot for their systems with more basic monitoring. When you try to cancel or switch service, they make it nearly impossible to get anything done. They don’t answer their phone or get back to you when you’re trying to contact them about cancelling. They just want your money. I cancelled my service two years ago, then suddenly they decided to start charging me through direct bank transfer again without my consent. After calling my bank to tell them not to allow charges from them because I don’t have an account anymore, they started sending me letters threatening to cancel my service even though I haven’t had service with them for two years. Shady company for a security company.

I have Brinks Home Security. I never had a brake in but my 2 false alarms were handled quickly. Of course those were my fault but it's good to know they are on top of things and monitoring my home.

For the money, Protect America provides a very good product. Their support staff is always helpful, although there is often a lengthy wait when calling in. Their app is not very user friendly. If the alarm is activated they are immediately available and very professional.
